Hi I have a webject to modify the password of a user. When I run this it produces the error: (com.infoengine.util.IEResource/81) com.infoengine.exception.fatal.IENotFoundException: File not found: /ext/savaco/lvd/QueryUserDetails.xml The xml file does exists at C:\PTC\Windchill_10.2\Windchill\tasks\ext\savaco\lvd and looks like;   The java code looks like:     Can anyone know why this error is issued ? Hi Is there any possibility to create a new view version of a WTPart where the "Revise Transition" is not defined? If I use    WTPart mPart = (WTPart) ViewHelper.service.newBranchForView(part, "Manufacturing"); mPart = (WTPart) PersistenceHelper.manager.store(mPart); I will get the error, that no revise transition is not defined. The method ViewHelper.service.newBranchForView does not throw any exception. This is thrown when storing the new WTPart.   Caused by: (wt.lifecycle.lifecycleResource/223) wt.util.WTException: Revise transitions not defined for current version in life cycle template.   I don't wan't to set any "dummy" revise transition for only creating a new view. Did anybody find a workaround? Thanks for any help.

I have to create a very simple database function to get day and month only from the date. But there is always one day lag. I will explain this in a simple way here.   I have created a database function as below.   It should result in two columns of same value exactly.   But the result is   How to resolve this?? If this is resolved, my core problem also will be resolved.     I have timezone of  GMT+05:30 in site\utilities\preference\attribute handling\local time zone   This timezone is same in Server machine and in my oracle database.

Hi,I am trying to write a program that will check WTUsers to see when they last logged into Windchill. I have code that worked against our LDAP, but ran outside of Windchill. We need to move this inside Windchill in order to keep WTUser and LDAP User in sync.  I've written Listeners before that will listen for an event, but I haven't written any scheduled services yet.  Is there any examples that can help me?  I can get the functionality working based on my previous code, but I'm not sure how to make it "scheduled" in Windchill.

Hi   My question is about the Report template (Windchill 11 M20), at the tables page (where we need to select tables and join as needed).   First time when I select two tables and join, it is fine. But when I come back (or re-open) the second table is thrown so far such that both tables cannot be zoomed in.  I tried the customer support  CS139386 hoping to be same java window type issue. No use.   Has anyone come across this (Workflow editor is fine - no such issues).  Or any one do not have issues with later service packs of WC11 M020?    I am using Win7  - 64 bit (windchill test server on my laptop), Quadro M1000M graphics card.   Thanks. How do you view your security audit report xml archive files?  We backed ours up from last year and it is 18GB and we are having issues trying to load it.

Greetings, I am just starting the process of configuring Supplier Management. After creating a few Vendor Parts and selecting a Vendor (Org) for each I have found that I can see all the vendor items from a Suppler (Browse / Supplier List / View info for Vendor / then it shows all the Vendor parts. What I can not see is a way to view who the Suppler is from a Vendor Part? That would be nice if we could see who the supplier was from the Vendor part: I can add an attribute (category) and manually enter in the name of the Suppler but that seems a little unnecessary when WC already knows the association as I can see the part from the Supplier. What am I missing?

I configured SSL & HTTPS using CS159762 But IE and Chrome are both not safe!I installed it on a trusted root certificate authority through View Certificate in IE.After that, the certificate status shows "This is a valid certificate." But Chrome is still marked as unsafe! Why is not it safe?When configuring SSL & HTTPS, can not it be self-signed to be marked safe?Thank you   Note openssl.cnf has not been modified

Greetings Windchillers, I have a question.  We are going to be using the Deviation action in Variance to document our nonconforming items. Everything works well except we have one issue.  For a Deviation that is not Resolved by an ECN, we are seeking a method to set it to Resolve besides Resolving it administratively.  We thought about putting a timer robot to resolve it 90 days after the Approval, but that is not flexible, in case we need to change a date.   Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.   James Hall PLM Administrator/Analyst Swisslog Healthcare (North America) Windchill 11.0 M030 , WGM 11.0 M030, Inventor Pro 2017, Windows 10

Has anyone ever created the need to soft type a work item?  Is it even possible?  We can soft type it in Type/Attribute Manager.  But I'm not sure if we can configure Windchill to use that soft type that was created.   This question has come up because we want to add several attributes to the work item.  If we can soft type it, then those additional attributes can be limited to just 1 organization in Windchill.  And the other organizations won't be bothered with these extra attributes if they don't want to see them.   The same question has come up regarding Affected data for both the Change Request and the Change Activity.  We would like to create several additional attributes, but limit the scope to just 1 organization.

Alias Attribute : how to map composed attributes like : thePersistInfo.createStamp ? i want to map the creation date of the first version of an EMPDocument. thePersistInfo.createStamp is available under logical IBA report as a valid and mappable attribute for EPMMaster, however the system consider it as invalid datatype.  Do you have any suggestions ?

Hi all,   The idea is to create a new attribute that is read only until the value of the Default Trace Code Attribute is set to Serial Number. Once set to Serial Number the new attribute can be selected.  Did anyone try something similar?   Alex

Creo View and Thumbnail wasn't matching worker setup on same pc(installed Windchill & Creo 3.0 M150) and set following picture   and my viewer version 4.1 but thumbnail and Viewer image wasn't match how do i fix it?   thanks

Hi everyone. Our company has recently decided to favor SolidWorks, but we have Windchill as our PDM system. Saving drawings and models to Windchill with the Workgroup Manager seems fairly straightforward, however we need to save our company drawing formats to Windchill as well. That's what we do with our Creo formats.   Does anyone know how to do this? I have created formats before in SW, and saved them to a server location, then set up our System Options/File Locations.... etc. What I am trying to do is save them to my Workspace, then check them in to Formats library cabinet. I can go File/Save Sheet Format....  and select Workspace as the place to save it to, but I don't see anything in my Workgroup Manager in Workspace. I assume it's something to do with access permissions, but I am logged in to Workgroup manager as Orgadmin, which is the only way to write to our libraries.

Hello, I am unable to install windchill on windows 10 OS. It is giving me the error   Failed to validate the Oracle Home User Password with the username found in the registry.Oracle Home Windows User Password (Required for Oracle 12c only):   I have also tried creating one more oracle user. Stil it is not working.

Hi. I'm trying to add form submission validation for Promotion Request creation wizard. But it doesn't work. So: 1) i have my own validator class ext.nikiet.validators.CreatePRValidator with implemented validateFormSubmission method2) this class is registered in codebase/service.properties wt.services/svc/default/com.ptc.core.ui.validation.UIComponentValidator/CreatePRValidation/null/0=ext.nikiet.validators.CreatePRValidator/duplicate 3) this validator is added to action in PromotionRequest-actions.xml <action name="create" .... afterVK="CreatePRValidation"> But CreatePRValidator is not created, and its method validateFormSubmission is not invoked during promotion request creation.In jcaDebug mode DefaultUIComponentValidator is displayed for wizard ok button.What am i doing wrong?Thanks.   ps: windchill version 11.0 M030-CPS05
