We have created FVA field "Test Suite document short Title" and added in Testcases type and we configured the same field in query. For some test cases its showing the Test suite document short title and for some its not showing. Please find the below screenshot for reference .       Thanks and Regards, Chandan Prasad    

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I want to run the Siemens NX part_utility command on everything in my workspace.Description: I want to run the Siemens NX part_utility command on everything in my workspace, specifically "part_utility -managed_mode=no -d -cleanup".  This will do a part cleanup on every .prt file in the workspace directory.  It won't run in the PTC Places folder, since it's not a real directory, but navigating to the actual .wfs folder will allow the utility to run.  The problem is, Windchill doesn't see the files as modified, to allow me to check them in, even though the file date/time has been updated. What is the proper way to run these utilities on Windchill data in the workspace?  or do I have to export all of the data out, run the utility, and then import it all back into workspace?

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.11For Manage Choices Wizard, there is a table builder invoked in that wizard. That table builder contains Tabs in it namely, Alternative parameter value, option code, Status parameter value, structure section value. I want to reorder that tab sequence to-be generate after opening the wizard or want to customize such that always the option code tab will be opened at the first. Relative file: ato-component.js

Hi. I am wondering what the best policy is when it comes to name, file name and number? For reference we use a separate Bill of Material application nor do we put BOMs on drawings.   As of late I have begun putting a "-" on name simply to make copy/pasting parts and assembles a tiny bit quicker. But I am wondering if it is necessary to add the file extension part to file name/new number? See attachment.   Does it make any difference? What are your policies and guidelines at your workplace? All feedback welcome.   We are using Creo 7.0 and Windchill 11.1 Thanks!  

Based on the current REST API I was able to upload primary content following some examples using the uploadstage1action and uploadstage3action. However, my use case is to provide an integration that allows to update the primary content. Clearly this can be done easily via the web UI.There is no obvious method using the REST API. Using the example on a document which already has primary content the uploadstage3action fails with indication that a document cannot have more than 1 primary content.There are no methods to delete the current primary content, nor to update (PUT/PATCH methods).This seems like a very normal use case for an integration, and I'm wondering what I'm missing here.I'm testing with windchill 12, WRS Document Management Domain, API Version 5

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS M020-CPS17I want to make use of Site, Utilities, Import/Export Management For import of CAD-Data. I want to make use of the Context-mapping file to tell which context to import EPMDocs to. I cannot find an example xml or a description how to create one. Version: Windchill 12.0 Use Case: I want to publish the 3D PDF with our custom executable file from Windchill.Description: Dear PTC Community, I am reaching out for assistance regarding the configuration of a custom generic worker.I have followed the steps outlined in the documentation CS67812., but I am unable to generate the. in and. out files in the temp directory after running the workerstart.bat file. Moreover, I would like to run our custom executable file that converts Creo files from windchill into 3D PDF files.Could someone please advise where I can set the location of this executable file in the configuration? Any guidance on how to properly integrate this executable into the worker setup to publish the 3D PDF?

Description: This is perhaps a mix of both a rant and request for assistance.  We are in process of testing Windchill 13.0.2.1.
