Simple example tried (after reading basic documentation) to integrate a Matlab Simulink Model in an Integrity Modeler model  is not working. Do you know where to find documentation or tutorials on this question ?

well i am trying to make a program to automatly create some syml diagram using the previous ones and some user's input   curently i have a document that explain a bit how to use the scripts but there are still thinks i do not manage to do   In particular, i have no idea how to create sysml componants (such as block definition diagram) when i try to use flooder.addItem("BlockDefinitionDiagram","MyItem"), it return an error and the only way i found to avoid this problem is to copy a pre-made block diagram which is quite unpractical   same problem while creating a new model, i don't know how to automatly add the sysml profile   so if you have the solution or you have any documentation about this topic please tell me

Hello everyone,   I am trying to automate the regression testing in my department using Python and Jenkins. All the test related items and environment specific files are kept in Integrity.   Long story short. The framework will need to be able to create all sorts of Integrity items whenever failures are detected during the testing cycle. This is to keep track of the activity performed for the root cause analysis involved.    Unfortunately, Google wasn't very helpful so here are my questions: 1. What would be the CLI command for creating an ALM_Open Point. Will such a command enable me to fill in all the required fields for this Open Point? If no, what would be the other commands involved? 2. Same for ALM_Build 3. Same for ALM_Delivery 4. Same for ALM_Task 5. Same for ALM_Action 6. Same for ALM_Change Request 7. Hey, I am trying to get some files from a project folder and would like to filter the files so only .psd files are downloaded. Is that possible?

Project Permissions do not seem to inherit to shared subprojects.When doing a project checkpoint or snapshot, the ACL of the original location of the shared subproject has to be changed to avoid permission denied errors.(Where) is this documented?We are working with shared subprojects very much and getting frequent errors when it comes to checkpointing.In addition, the affected shared subproject is not shown in the permission denied error message, only the main project. So debugging this error is really hard.   Any advice?

When I try to publish a word document I edited in word in PTC Integrity 10.9 I get the following message: "MKS10001: Uncaught Exception in MKS Gateway Command"I asked support about this and they said that it seems that edit in word is not working in Integrity 10.9. Is there any workaround? Thank you.

I would like to create a veritical bar chart that effectively has two queries.For each "Build" I would like a veritcal bar to represent - "Found in Build" and another bar for "Fixed in Build".I have tried lots of different options and have not been able to get this.Is it possible? There is an ALM checklist, that's created and tasks are using this checklist.  Would an update to this ALM checklist to new parameters effect the tasks that were started or closed.

We have been facing performance issues in our document managment for a while since we've updated from 10.6 to 11.1.   The symptoms are as follows: - view/edit live documents works normally - "view as of" for doucments is extremely slow (up to several minutes before a 10 node document opens) - "view document differences" is extremely slow (up to several minutes before a 10 node document difference view opens) - "Edit in Word" - workin with a single node is ok, but useing the chapter or entire document option is extremely slow (up to several minutes - sometime even errors in a timeout)   The behaviour was not consistant over all our segment and node types (some where extremely, while others worked much faster), so I took a deeper look into our setup and found this:   IMHO there is a general problem in the handling of FVA multi-valued user fields when it comes to historical operations.    In our node setup of the affected segment types we have a FVA fiel

Hi, we would like to find all projects with (certain) attributes.   We can find find all members with certain attributes via si viewproject --fields=memberarchive,attributes --filter=attribute:<attrname> but unfortunately, this does not work on project attributes.   We can list a project (with its attributes) via si projectinfo --attributes but projectinfo has no --fields and no --filter parameter and does not work recursive (for subprojects), so there is always only one project listed.   This is even more important for projects than for members because member attributes can be shown in columns, but project attributes always have to be selected for a single project via project information. This makes it really hard to locate project attributes for many projects.

The labeling of quite a few messages is messed up. Especially with the Modeler label you can find various messages that are not related to Modeler at all, but to Lifecycle Manager. A cleanup would be nice, as it safes time and confusion. If I could I would even offer to help, but no path open. There are not so many threads over all. The time required for that cleanup would not be much.   By the way: A fourth label within the Integrity realm for Integrity Source I would find helpful as well (as I find it quite distinct from Lifecycle Manager).   Thanks for considering Jan

Hello,   I am using Integrity 10.8.0.8356.   Under File->Preferences->Configuration Management -> Diff and Merge Tools the user can set the  preferred Diff command and Merge command.   For example in the configuration file below "C:\Users\MateiA\AppData\Roaming\Integrity\10.8\IntegrityClient.rc"   I see the following values:   vdiffCommand=compare.exe /title1\:"{1}" /title2\:"{2}" "{3}" "{4}"mergeCommand=compare.exe /wait /title1\:"Merge From\:{1}" /title2\:"Merge Base\:{0}" /title3\:"Merge To\:{2}" /3 "{5}" "{4}" "{6}" "{8}"   I am interested to set these two values via CLI   I don't know how to use setprefs --save --command=??? --ui=gui someKey=someValue   Many thanks !  

Hi All, I am in the process of creating a mobile App and need to fetch all the sprint related information from PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager (with Agile Solution) and display it in mobile App. I need to display Sprint details with all the tasks in it with estimated and logged hours till date. Can anybody please provide some references to the webservices available for fetching this information and some examples if any?

I have a list of people. I would like to say which people were involved with a certain test. I also want to say what role they filled during the test. How can I have a list of people where I can also specify what their role was for the test?

We are using the CLI (im.exe) for updating a rich text field with content we maintain in another system (SharePoint). e.G. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Integrity\IntegrityClient10\bin\im.exe" editissue --richContentField=Status="Some content ..." 1234567 This works well in a nutshell, also with inline images in the HTML, that we parse out and add as attachments. We create the .cmd files programatically and are looking into further automating the approach. We are facing the following limits restrictions and are wondering if they can be overcome: the windows cmd interpreter has a limit of 8191 characters. Someting our content is longer than that and we cannot update this issue with the CLI.  Hi,        I have a user who logs in using the web gui and doesn't have the client installed. Every time he logs in it tries to open the last query he ran, which is a very extensive query that takes a long time to run.  Is there a way to delete the web user's "profile" like there is if he was using the client?

I had an interigty client running for several moths under windows 10 without any significant problems.Now it happens that if the gui should open a dialog for selecting something from the local filesystem(eg add members, create sandbox, File->Compare Files...)the gui and IntegrityClient.exe crash without any exeption dialog.The gui diasappears and process IntegrityClient.exe get terminated.So far I did not notice any other functionality beeing affected.(eg I can still create sandboxes from commandline)I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the client (WIN XP SP3 compability) but the problem persists.I also tried deleting the .mks folder from User Profile directory with no success.The only other traces of the crash I stumbled upon where some JAVA hs_err_pid???.log files.Some extracts from such a file:# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (20.45-b01 mixed mode, sharing windows-x86 )# Problematic frame:# C  [MSVCR71.dll+0x10440]...Stack: [0x0a130000,0x0a170000],  sp=0x0a16f658,

Is there any way to do a relational query with ILM data other than using a report recipe? If not, is there by any chance an add-in for Access or something similar that will treat item types as tables to allow relational queries to be created?

First time in Integrity since shutting down for Christmas and I'm getting an error on my dashboard saying 'Cannot show view information: MKS6412172: Dashboard "Document Management Dashboard" does not exist.   If I go into Administration, 'Document Management Dashboard' does not show up in the dashboard list under Workflows and Documents.  I have no idea what happened to it.     Questions: 1) Can i restore it somehow? 2) If not, can I restore it from the distribution 3) If I install the 11.2 update (I'm running 11.1), will this restore the missing dashboard?   Thanks, Perry

Hi all,   We have some notification triggers that send our users a mail about specific situations. These triggers then read certain fields of the triggering item in order to use these contents in the text of the mail for a quick overview. Some of these fields are rich text fields, which are basically composed of MKS-HTML code. But now this code can't be understood by Outlook or other mail programs, so that the MKS-HTML tags can be seen in the text of the mail, which makes the whole thing very difficult to read.   Has anyone found a way to filter out this MKS HTML code or convert it to normal HTML without parsing all the text in the mail trigger script?
