I upgraded from Integrity 10.6 to Integrity 10.7. The issues I'm having is the "Integrity Server 10" service fails to remain in "Started" status. My logs show the following:FATAL [mksis.IntegrityServer] Service AppConfig not started due to errors: Service mks:name=IM not started due to errors: Unable to start IM service: Incorrect syntax near '.'.I had to roll back to Integrity 10.6.The steps I took for upgrade:1. Stop the Integrity Server 10 service via cmd line within the 10.6 bin folder "mksis stop"2. Remove the service "mksis remove"3. Installed Integrity server 10.7 using 'Upgrade of an existing server"4. Ran "isutil -c migrateserverconfig'5. I'm creating a plan to upgrade our MKS Integrity 2009 SP7 (AIX) test server to PTC Integrity 10.6 (AIX). In the is.properties file there is a setting mksis.hostname=mks-test.Server URL is http://mks-test:7001. The actual name of the server is something different. I changed the hostname setting in the is.properties file to ptc-test. I stopped ans started the server using mksis stop and mksis start and I saw errors in the server.log:2015-04-14 07:33:20,103 DEBUG [mksis.IntegrityServer] DEBUG(0): mks.frame.client.ConnectionException -- mks.frame.client.ConnectionException: MKS124871: Could not establish server connection (it may be down). Hello,I have a Setup with three Monitors and I am using the PTC Integrity Client 10.5. I always have the Client in the third Monitor, while my main Monitor is the number 1. Is there a way of forcing the PTC integrity Client to open new Windows (e.g. prefences, Issues, etc) in the Monitor where the main window is located?Thanks in advance.

The release information for Integrity 10.7 shows that shared sandboxes are deprecated.Unfortunately, we are using shared sandboxes in the following scenario:- Several software developers create software and put it into a shared sandbox residing on a network drive- Various guys in testing field and production (without access to Integrity Source) use the software to flash devices.With the Sandbox on the network drive, we always know if the server contents are the same as the network drive contents.We really don't know how to do this in the future, if we ever want to update to >=10.7.We know that the existing shared sandbox solution has its pitfalls, but it worked for us.Eliminating an existing feature is not good practice and not very customer friendly.If we cannot update, we do not really need a maintenance contract....So any suggestion for a workaround?

A table is added as a requirement. Updates are made to each cell. When you highlight the cell (it turns blue) and delete it total, you can no longer edit the cell. For example, if you hit the delete key until the text is gone, then you can enter the new information. If you highlight the entire cell and click delete, you can no longer enter text in the field. How can I unlock this cell? Has this happen to anyone?

When I try to output a text field from a Test Result Related Item that contains rich content to an HTML report, all of the < and > are replaced by < and >. This happens with some other characters also. How do you get it to preserve the HTML instead of doing this conversion? Below is where I am trying to use it. Basically I'm trying to output all ALM_Defect items from a test session. I have added two custom Test Result fields to the type. They are "Execution Date" and "Execution Modified Date". How do I set the value of these fields via the API? I have tried just adding an option for each item. cmd.AddOption("Execution Date", value) and cmd.AddOption("Execution Modified Date", value). The results upload without these two values. I am not sure if the command is wrong or if I am just using a format different than what Integrity is expecting. Has anyone done this before?

I am looking for a simple way to track requirements volatility / changes across a document and/or project. Is there a relatively simple way of extracting this information from Integrity? I was thinking of looking at the history for the last date the Text field has been changed for each Item. I haven't yet looked into an automated way of extracting this, but am open to suggestions.

When I try to run the tm createresult to add a test result via the API, I try to use the addAttachment command to add a file with the test result. The documentation for 10.5 says:   --addAttachment=value adds attachments, where value is of the form "field=fieldName,path=pathToFile[,name=nameOfAttachment][,summary=shortDescription] " . Note: The "pathToFile" must include the path and filename. The "nameOfAttachment" is optional, and gives the attachment a different name than the name of the file specified in "pathToFile". For example, addAttachment="field=Attachments,path=c:/temp/notes.txt,name=notes123.txt,summary="Notes for issue 123""   When I try to do this, I get an error that says "Could not create test result: Error adding attachment" The specified key is invalid: field". How can I create a new document using a template from a trigger? I see the LocalTriggerManager.ScriptServerBean.postNewIssue(java.lang.String) function which looks like it can be used to create a new issue but it doesn't appear to give the option to use a template. Is there a way to do this?

There is a report called "ALM_Offline Test Session - XForms". Is there an updated version of this report available? Maybe one made with HTML5? No browsers seem to support XForms any more.

I am new to integrity and trying to pick up the concepts by actually working on it.I had a question regarding the creation of a new project in Integrity . Both the admin client and end user client provides an option of creating new projects. what is the difference in these two projects that are created by 2 different clients. while working on integrity i noticed that a project needs to be creared in admin client first and then based on this project, a project can be created by the end user on the non-admin client.why is it like this and what is the significance of the project created in admin client?

I did not find any option of creating a project in SI. Also not able to find it in help.Any idea on this?
