Hallo,Ich würde gerne eine flexible Feder in einer Animation darstellen.Im Mechanismus- Modus habe ich das schon hinbekommen, würde das aber gerne auch in der Animation so darstellen und ein Video erzeugen.Kann ich diese FEder aus dem Mechanismus Modus einfach kopieren, oder eine neue nach dem gleichen schema im Animations Modus erstellen?würde mich über hilfe sehr freuen.Gruß Tobias,Hello,how can i show a spring in Animation mode? Hi everyone,I am having a ton of troubles with trying to use data points from any kind of file to create a curve or set of points. The idea is this: I have the coordinates for an airfoil shape in a .xlsx, .txt, .pts, .sec, you name it, and I want to import that data into a sketch. Then, using that sketch, I would extrude a very simple wing. The trouble is, every time I try to either modify a spline and import a file or do any other kind of fix that I have searched online for, it just does not work. Mostly with these fixes, the bottom-left message bar says, "the spline points have not been changed." I would love to know if anyone has any tips for this problem whatsoever. I can't believe it's harder to do tasks like this than when it was Pro-E still. Thanks for the help. -John

All,Someone sent me a zip file and asked if Pro/E can import obd files.In the zip are a series of folder and files.I don't see anything .obd.Not sure if if I had the file I could open it.It's pwb stuff.Anyone familiar with this?WayneF

Hi, I've downloaded Creo 2.0 as a student onto my desktop following the instructions given from the administrator account but the software is coming up as a shortcut on my desktop. When I click on it it tells me that it can't find it and asks me to Browse for it....Im pretty rubbish with stuff like this, can anyone help please?! Thanks in advance

I have been having trouble with my Creo Parametric 2.0. As soon as the application loads up, there is a tab named "script error" popping up and no matter how I try to close it, it keeps recurring, disabling me to use the software. I have tried installing the entire software again and is of no use. I would be really thankful if you could help me rectify the above mentioned issue as soon as possible as the situation is kind of an emergency. I have attached an image capturing the above mentioned problem. Thanking you in advance.

Hi all,I need to invoke a custom application from the creo menu interface. So far i have set a menu placeholder for my application on the interface (see attached) using the "Customize screen" but i can only map those applications/commands which came with the tool (OOTB). Is there a way i can get my custom application to be on the list of commands that can be mapped back to the menu/flyout.The custom application is a PERL TK based GUI.ThanksKenan

i use Pipe command a lot. in Creo 2.0 it wasn't in a ribbon. and i added it by modifying in ribbon.Creo 3.0, command is not there anymore. i tried searching it as well.any Idea, where it moved to?

To all,I have an engineer that is asking about the clearance hole diameter values that are pre-filled in the hole tool based on screw size nominal. Does someone know what standard these follow? The values in the hole tool follow the machinist handbook, but they do not agree with the ANSI/ASME values? I would appreciate your feedback....Buddy Hudson

Hello,I am trying to set up a mapkey that would the following .- If named view "Iso_01" exists in the list, then activate this view- If this view does not exists yet, create it with standard angles and then activate it.I know how to activate a named view, I found some hints concerning "If then else" commands in mapkeys, but I can't find a way to test if the named view exists.Anyone can help me ?Thank you !

I know PTC has a new name for enhancement requests and I know there is a place for it somewhere in the black hole that is the PTC Communities web site but I'll be d@mned if i can find it. So I'm turning to the real source of PTC info and asking where in he!! do I submit an ehancement request to PTC these days?What I want to suggest is to be able to right click on a folder in the "Common Folders" area of the file browser and have the option to make it the active folder. I see no other use for the "Common Folders" area what so ever. Maybe it has some use for those with PDM systems but to those of us still working strictly from a folder system, I always shange the working directory to where my files are before doing anything else.I would also like to be able to take "Desktop" and "Computer" and "My Documents" off the "Common Folders" area because those are not places I would ever want to open or save a CAD file. i've attached a picture, the bottom pipe is on a different plane angled at 10 degrees from the plane the top pipe is on.I am trying to either create a joint between the two or, better yet, make the two pipes one.The problem i have is that any joint i try to put on these pipes either does absolutely nothing or creates a strange pipe which would not be able to actually be welded together.Any help on this would be gratefully received
