When creo comes up with stress results for random vibration, this stress is RMS??? if not based on what stress results are shown in for random vibration analysis?
Calling Dan! "DAN!" I am wondering if PTC is willing to provide the PTC fonts for Creo users so we can make accurate logo's for projects. If not the font, maybe a series of approved sketches that can be used for extrudes or offsets. Most companies would love you to use official logo art rather than trying to create a sketch outlining a small jpeg. Can you enquire about this for us?And in this same vane... TM vs R... I've seen "Creo" both registered and trademarked. Can someone in the public relations office clarify appropriate use? Thanks
Hello, can anyone tell me where i can find info on this thread hole size as in pic. what is ... H clear
Q: What’s a leveraged buyout?A: A leveraged buyout (LBO) is when a company is bought out by another entity (or entities), using a lot of debt.Private-equity investors are typically involved, borrowing gobs of money without using much of their own, and often using the acquiree’s assets as collateral. The acquired company is generally taken private (i.e., it will not trade publicly on the stock market), only to go public again after some changes have been made (such as layoffs, the selling of assets, or dividend increases or decreases). While some LBOs are executed by members of management, others are hostile, executed by outsiders and not welcomed by their targets. Many LBOs don’t end well for the company or its shareholders (there are substantial interest payments due, after all), though the acquirers often do well. Q: What’s a golden parachute?A: A golden parachute is when a company gives a hefty payout to a departing CEO or top executive. It’s often required via a clause in the exec’s c
Hello,I have, unfortunately, a requirement to model a Reef Knot (or Square Knot, as you might know it) again. In the past, I have made a couple of wiggly curves orthogonal to each other and intersected them and run a VSS along them to create each half loop. A few mirrors and you have a passable looking knot. It takes a lot of tweaking and fiddling to get it looking presentable, though. Then there was the added complication that I was required to model a Slip-Reef Knot - one with a loop on one side that you could pull to undo the knot, a bit like a shoelace. Is there an equation (or equations) to define such a knot? The nice thing about the equation approach would be that it took less work to make it look good and it would also scale nicely. That way, it would be done once and for all and I wouldn't have to repeat all the tweaking every time.I'm sure someone out there has sorted this out.Currently using WF4, M220, but I would imagine the principle applies equally well to any version. Just installed M110 and found this.....I don't believe it was there in the previous versions. I've been thinking about requesting this, so I'm glad they did it. I just wish the would throw a check box on that dropdown for "use breakout distance". Why dig thru pages for such a common option. Not really a question just figured I would share incase you were debating on installing M110 with CREO 3 so close. (Maybe)
Hey guys,Quick question, is there a way within making a resume prompt to have a "yes" /"no" statement, if you click yes it keeps running the map key, if you click no it will stop the mapkeyThanks,Brock
In experimenting with some simple BLENDS, I often find unwanted twists in the finished Blend between sections. This is easy to fix by dragging the start point on the section. When I create Blends from existing sketch sections, this works fine. However, when I create BLENDS and then create sections inside the blend, there is no sign of the start point. Without the start point, I cannot fix the unwanted twists.Does anyone else experience this? Should I just recommend to my class (high school) that they create Blends from existing sketches? Or is there a way to get the start point to appear on Blends with internally defined sketch sections? Thanks for help on this.-Brett
Does anyone have a list of all of the alt key shortcuts?

Does anyone know if Chrome will be supported as a embedded browser?
Can anyone recommend some best practices as well links to proper skeleton setup? We are trying to establish some system and subsystem skeletons, where the system skeleton will be used as locator skeleton and subsystem skeletons as interface skeleton. Is this a good practice or could you recommend otherwise? We want to set up all the subsystems by way of subsystem skeletons; these skeleton, I picture, will contain all the interfaces to other subsystems. The master skeleton then houses all the subsystem skeletons; by way of global coordinate.
Anyone willing to share a Celcon M90, (acetal copolymer)material proerties? Running Creo2.Thought I would ask before starting the long task of creating it myself.Thanks....

Hi All How do I import/insert my own bend table.? Is there a certain way the formula has to be written? Does it matter if it is imperial/metric? Thanx
I ran some random vibration analysis and I'm wondering despite checking the box I don't have any RMS resutls in the log or results. Shouldn't creo calculate it for me?
I have a customer asking if Creo can be used to optimize drill bit geometry. What combination of angles for the different edges will give the best performace for a certain material. Attached is an image of his model.
hi. I want to know in PTC CREO 2.0 programme interface if there are objects to work with NURBS method in programming Languages like VB or anyone else. First time poster, long time proe user...Finally updated all my map keys in creo 2, well, so I thought but noticed that any map key starting with a "p" or "o" don''t work. They work if you manually run the map key in the Map Key dialogue but not out of it?... Anyone notice this or have a reason for it/solution or should I just relabel them?
