Hi everyone,I need your help to replace a string content with the help of relations.Ex. If the file name is "Bracket_Housing" then i need the description to be "Bracket Housing". I use description=rel_model_name() in relation but the output in descriotion with "_" symbol is odd. My component description is always the file name but without the "_". I want to eleminate the "_" in the description.

Hi,we started using more than one workpiece in NC-complete, to program multiple operations in one cam file. but the material removals sometimes cannot handle this correct, but for example after a restart everything is back ok. but the more sequences there are, the more these material removals go in error.does anyone have any experience with using multiple workpieces?Greetings, Arno

I just recently downloaded the student version of Creo Parametric 2.0. But when I open a model the welcome tab stays active and I can't see my model. If I click the close button on the welcome tab the tab just freezes. What do I need to get the welcome tab to close?

Any experiences? Compared to Windchill 10?

In my case I have assigned pin for the shaft & later defined force motor for the same. But If i run the analysis the shaft is rotating clock & anti clockwise .How to control, only it should run clockwise direction ?

Is there a way to have a 'Copyright Protected' notice pop up whenever an IGS file (or a STP file) is opened?I have a need to send an IGS file to an external organisation with which we have a NDA in place, but they may need reminding (preferably each time they open it) that the data is ours, not theirs.I think I probably know the answer...If I'm correct, how have you folks dealt with this problem?Cheers,John

I have an IGES model from a supplier for a piece of equipment that will be used on a tractor. The model imported as a set of surfaces so the model mass and center of gravity are currently incorrect. I know what the mass is and I have a rough idea of the center of gravity so I would like to assign these values to the imported model so that the CG and mass in my tractor model is correct. The problem is, I can't seem to figure out how to assign mass to a point. Anyone have any ideas?
