Are there plans for Mathcad Prime to include automatic paragraph, equation and figure numbering?   It's not ideal, but MP10's Advanced Controls allow a rudimentary form of entity numbering.      The topic has been broached several times since at least Mathcad 11.   https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/Mathcad-and-articles-for-Journals/m-p/442066   Stuart

How can i change the dimension to the mean dimension?For example, I have the dimension 100 with the tolerance -0.1 and -1. The Mean dimension would be 99.45.How can show/activate that? 

Dear Community, Currently we are using Creo 7.0.12.0 but we are planning to update to a more recent version in the future. We try to enhance our 3D-Models with as much information as possible (MBD), but we have the struggle now, that 3D-files very fast get cluttered with annotations, dimensions, tolerances, etc. Especially when we are starting to assemble such 3D-parts. Is there any option available to add dimensions also to Simp Reps? We couldn't find any option and also the help documentation was not helpful. Thanks in advance for any hint!

I would like to try Mathcad for 30 days free. After installing the software, before getting the license, the software asks me to key in the Product Code. Where can I get the Product Code?

I am trying to figure out how to route multiple harnesses along a path and have the actual diameter shown, and change, as harnesses are added or subtracted, so I know what size to make things like routing holes and wire trays.

Choosing User Defined for this sub assembly in this simplified rep automatically unchecks the part.  Checking the box sets it back to Master Rep.  How do I get a user defined representation to be allowed to display for this subassembly?   in creo in creo in pvz in pvz

This sheet first plots a series of x,y,z data points for a floor elevation survey. surface is plotted as raw data Then it does a surface regression analysis and generates a polynomial the poly surface is plotted. I need to determine the curvature and then radius of curvature for any and all points.  I will use an overlay of distress to determine the radius of curvature that causes distress, I currently have a slice method of raw date and of the surface  but this is cumbersome.  A math prof colleague provided a solution  that runs OK on his old version  of Maple.I'm attempting to get this solution using MCAD 15 but getting errors.  I think it may be  a simple deal but don't know.  Can anyone help? I've placed a number of markers in this sheet in Bold large font red text..  Solution  starts on page 9.  There's  hand written solution  at top right of page 1 and repeated lower. BTW this is a

Hello, I am attempting to download and install the MathCad Prime 10 - Student Edition. However, I am running into this failed application error. Please see the attached photos. Can someone please provide any insight or support regarding this installation issue. 

I would like to go through the same worksheet several times, changing "index" and the various parameters, and put the calculation results in the same Rez matrix, in the corresponding "index" column. Unfortunately the previously defined columns are set to zero.

HiMy customer try to unfix length of many fixed cable at once in very complex cabling assembly. He try to use "Free All Length" functionality, but it works only when proper - fixed length cable is selected. So the question is: how to find and select all cables containing fixed length to use the "Free All Length" functionality?Any ideas?

I must be losing my mind. Didn't Creo used to allow making a Diameter dimension in drawing mode of a side cross section edge or point using the 3 mouse clicks just like you can in part sketcher mode? I have a cross section view of a part that I want to CREATE a diameter type dimension from a centerline to an edge.  The entity was not made in the part mode with that feature dimensioned as a diameter so I cannot just show the dimension. In part sketcher mode, you can easily make a diameter dimension by left clicking the edge, left clicking the centerline, then left clicking the edge a second time and placing the dimension.I swear the exact same steps could be done in drawing mode when making an annotation dimension but it is not working.  I am using Creo version 7.0.5.0 and all it does when I perform those clicks is try to make a length dimension of the edge itself, not a diameter dimension.

Would anyone be willing to provide example syntax of how to use EvalOutline() and/or GeomOutline and how to get the values for each?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In reguards to https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS210906.   I have been playing with this and discovered these attributes about two years ago and have found it very valuable.  One thing that happened though is I rolled a dash number of an install , It was pretty much additions but it rolled about half of the Part ID's within the -002 part and now i need to redo all my tracking markers / context ID's  Why wouldn't it have kept everything that didn't change with the same numbers and add the new ones. 

I'm currently running PTC Mathcad 9.0,0 on Windows 11 Pro.  After renewing my license, I received an email with two license files. One of the text license files has the word "standard" at the end of the file name. which do I use?   I've opened each in a text editor.   I do see at least one difference.  I see the word "BORROW" in one of the licenses.    Any idea why I would receive two licenses?  What are each for? 

Hello, I'm using Creo v 11 and it is continuously crashing when I try to open a Solidworks part file. I get no error message or notification, it just closes the program after loading for a bit. Has anyone else had this issue or have an idea of why this might be happening? Side note I cannot share the file as it is proprietary.

I have changed the detailed options for symbol_font to ASME and the additional symbols show up in the GD&T and Notes area however, the dimension text does not have the full list of symbols. How can I get this to update? The specific symbol I'm looking for is the spotface symbol. We're using Creo 7

Warm greetings to all,I remember that a few years ago, a post was published asking how to write one or more points overlapping the function to be derived, instead of one or more apexes, but I can't find it, so how can I do it especially for MATHCAD 15? the difficulty lies in placing the dots on the functions, then we proceed with the prefix operators and the like. Hello, Are Merge/inheritance feature accessible with a Creo Essential license ?I use this function in parts for years but recently we change our license "Creo Advance Design" for "Creo Essential". Since this the buttons are grayed out...Is it a problem with my creo install or a license issue ? Thanks in advance.  

Hello. Our CREO License recently changed. Current Situation is using Floating License and LMGRD. Old Creo Licenses (Foundation, Parametric, etc.) changed  CREO Essentials.  So, I have to change LMGRD's License Pack.  When I Change Creo License Pack, do I need to reconfigure CREO on all designer PCs?

How can I exculde some values to get the function runing without affecting the results? I want to exulde the zeros.It is on page 28 Thanks in advance  

Mathcad Prime 10File Attached. When evaluating a range of inputs for the program shown, the outputs are correct.  I need to assign the  outputs to a variable as a column vector to use in subsequent steps.  When I assign the program outputs to a variable, I get error "This value must be a scalar or a vector".  1. If the output of linterp_2D(A,B,Data,a,0.25) isn't a column vector, what is it?2. How can I create a column vector (or anything else) from the program output so that I can assign it to a variable?  

I have used the .dat license file that I got in the email for 30 days free trial version. Although I call it and configure it, status says in red full functionality-29 days remaining but it doesn't allow me to modify anything in the file

 In the thread on "Roots of polynomial #3 and How to find unique values into a vector/matrice?" there is a Sept. 23. 2024 post from Werner that uses a function implicitplot2D. I gather from the results and descriptions that this function returns the x-y pts within a defined region where the specified real/complex function = 0 (or close?).  I got around to playing with the attached mcd11 file that has the programmed definition fro this function, and I'm interested in the implicitplot2D function details. I started looking at the function program implementation in the mcd11 file, but it's not something I will work out in the next few minutes. Diverting to the easier path for the moment (find out what has already been done), I found a reference to an implicitplot2D function link in Werner's Mar. 5, 2017 post.
