Hello Everyone. From : To : "PARI failure!" What does that mean ? ( MC15 )Thanks in advance for your time and help.Best Regards.Loi
I need help evaluating a function of a range of variables using a solver block. On page 1 and page 2 of the attached mathcad sheet, I evaluate a function F(z). This (cumulative distribution) function is called Fz and is a convolution integral of 2 Rayleigh distributions. The variables X and Y are responses, where its RMS value within each Rayleigh distribution is known for and input to the sheet. Then, random variable z , is solved with a solver block. This all works. On page 3 I want to repeat this process for a range of RMS values of X and Y. If X is an array of values with length 3 (on the rows) and Y is an array of values with length 4 (on the columns), the total number of output values is 12 in the matrix. I am working in mathcad prime 10.
Every callout that is put in looks like the picture. No numbers or quantity. Settings for the callouts look fine. Any ideas what causes this?
Hi All,Any ideas how to get the number of Pattern Members when using a Point Pattern? I'm not looking to drive the number of Points in the Sketch with this, it's display only. Use case is an irregular pattern of holes, and everything works fine except I don't have a way to add the number of holes to the hole callout. On a Dimension (and Table Pattern I think) this shows up as a parameter that can be added. Thanks in Advance
I have been trying to embed a Madcath Prime document in Access 2016, but it has been impossible.I have the Mathcad 14 version and it does recognise the OLE Objet type, but with the mathcad prime version it does not let me the option to insert it in the Access 2016 form. I have created a new object of type "MathcadPrime.Application". but then I had to assign an external address with the file, I can't get it embedded in the Access 2016 form. There are any option wich i dont need to give the external address to the file? (as in Mathcad 14 wich was embeed as an OLE Objet type) Thanks!! (This is the VBA code using the "MathcadPrime.Application") (This image is with Matchad 14)
Hello! I need to modify display style usingJ-link.But I don't find any API.
Hello Folks, I have prepared the 45 pages sheet in Mathcad Prime 10 while the person who wants to access the sheet has prime 9, and Mathcad is not backward compatible. So the solution I found was to install the Prime 9 and 10 in the same system and copy from 10 and paste it in 9, now when i'm trying to paste the message is popping up saying "Unable to paste the specified object due to : PrimeObject Log file is located at C:\Program Data\PTC\Mathcad Prime\Logs\MathcadPrime_Exception_20240706_124750.log". Does anyone has the solution on how we can resolve this ?
I am using creo 8.0.Working in assembly , when I create new component I don't see option of 'Leave the component un placed' which is usually on highlighted section. How can I turn it on ? Below is image I found on website

Hello, is it possible to set the Remove feature with "Leave open" mode checked by default? Sometimes I leave it unchecked by mistake and start collecting surface patches, but Creo slows down trying to calculate ways of closing the quilt. If possible, I would set the Creo config with "Leave open" checked (also, I prefer to uncheck it after selecting a bunch of patches, instead of waiting each time a new patch is added). Thank you in advance.
Can somebody at PTC please have the common decency to advise us on the intentions of the License Server for Modeling Express 8. Either that ore release the product from this requirement. Regards (but not expecting a reply from anyone in the know)

I am trying to simplify the following:However, it leaves the absolute value symbol around cos(t), even though I limited it to only when those functions are positive. It's even weirder that it removes the absolute value symbols from sin(t). It's not a problem for something small like this, but it becomes a problem when I do something more complicated or want to use that calculated expression for something else. How can I get it to simplify it better?I'm using Mathcad Prime 10.0.0.0
Dear Forum Members, I am seeking detailed information about the APIs used by Creo Parametric for enhancing visualization, rendering, and potentially GPU computing. This information is crucial for me to select the optimal hardware for using the software. Specifically, I would like to know:Does Creo Parametric utilize renderers that exclusively support CUDA or OptiX?Are there functions within Creo Parametric optimized for GPU acceleration (particularly using CUDA), such as for Finite Element Methods (FEM)?If such functions are implemented, are they exclusively optimized for Nvidia hardware, or is there support for GPUs from other manufacturers as well?Additionally, is there a minimum or recommended hardware build? I am currently picking the parts for my PC, and this information is very critical. We are now useing creo 10.0.4.0 with WC12, we are alwys a year behind the newest gen (We always start at X.0.4.0)Thank you in advance for any assistance and information you can pro
I am using Creo Parametric 10.0.2.0 Background: I am an experienced Electrical Engineer, have used AutoCAD my whole career, mostly 2-D but have done 3-D objects. I recently learned Altium and have done 2-D and 3-D modeling there. I have used Creo to view objects in the past as well as creating assemblies with pre-existing 3-D models. In short, I have background in CAD and 3-D modeling, and in Creo, but not in Creo 3-D modeling from scratch. However, today I have been asked for the first time to create a 3-D model in Creo - and I am struggling. I am starting with the simplest model imaginable, but I have yet to grasp it. I just need a flat panel. The panel is a flat rectangle with small rectangular "ears" with a thickness of 1.5 mm.. I created a sketch of 3 rectangles: one large and two small rectangles each on the center of the long side. Should be easy, I should just need to extrude it with a dimension of 1.5 mm at this point. Obviously, extrude from surface is the
I am using Creo Schematics 9.0 and Windchill 12.0. I want to load my central catalog in Windchill, set the Windchill path as a root folder, and access library items from Creo schematics. Is it possible? If it's not possible, what is the best solution to access the central catalog when users are located across the different geographies?
Good day to you sir I am trying to solve a similar situation for an intermediate shaft in a 2-stage gearbox but not modal analysis rather a simple von Mises static analysis on the whole shaft length, would like to know how to adapt these loads and constraints and other idealizations to run a similar case, is it necessary to idealize all the whole bearing Assembly like this or just adding 2 spring idealization and a weighted link to the surface area of the acting bearing suffice, as far as the simulation is on the shaft, the consideration of gear teeth doesn't matter so applying torque on the disk with pitch diameter is satisfactory right ? i would like to know how to apply idealized torque on these 2 helical gears while i have 2 fixed bearing holding this shaft and enduring a preload in between. regards
First of all, this is my first MDO project. It is all relatively new for me.I want to get axial reaction forces in a frame of a cylinder housing in order to simulate vibrations.I used 4 pin constraints and created measures on them. They work fine in radial directions, but not in axial direction. Only 1 constraint reacts, no matter what loads I apply.I tried both with a constant force on the piston as a torque motor on the drive-shaft. Most of you Creo guru's will recognize the model.. Which mechanism constrain do I need to get all the reaction forces? The shaft makes 1 revolution in 0.06 sec. Model attached (engine.asm)
Confused using the mean function.
What would be the way for me to select values from "i " which align with zero for mod(A,i)
So I wrote a java program to read some tables. However now I want it tomodify the tables to add text and parameters to specific tables using afunction like in the manual. like this: writeTextInCell (theTable, 5, 2, "REV"); (for text writeTextInCell (theTable, 5, 3, "&asm.mbr.PROI_REVISION"); (forthe parameter)In the end, I run the script, a window pops up expecting me to click on atable, I click on the table, two extra columns are added and the bottomcolumn is merged. However I get no text.Anyone knows how to add text to a cell??thanksregardsAlfonsoHere are the important parts on this complete breakfast: currentModel = (Model2D) model; tables = currentModel.ListTables(); TableCell cell1,cell2; Table theTable = null; String cellName; SelectionOptions selops=null; Selections sel = null; selops = pfcSelect.SelectionOptions_Create("dwg_table"); selops.SetMaxNumSels(new Integer(1)); sel = session.Select(selops, null); sel.get(0).UnHighlight(); theTable = (Table)sel.get(0).GetSelItem(); w
I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.2.0First I should point out that I have been using Creo since early ProE. I have generated thousands (literally) of drawings.I have a plate with some holes, some tapped and some not. I am not able to show the threads on the tapped holes.
Hello; I need to create dxf files from SolidWorks, & pull them into Creo for a cgm file output. One problem I had was the dim arrows are filled in SW & also in the dxf file, but when I import them into Creo they're not filled, thus not in the exported cgm either. The section line arrows remained filled, but all the dim line arrows were not filled. I posted a question in this gentlemen's YouTube post because the dim arrows are showed not filled in it as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33ZFv_szMAU&t=334s Thanks in advance for any input.Rob_D Creo 4.0 M060
Has anyone had luck with table.settext? For me it's breaking and a try/catch isn't throwing the error message. The table is generating up to this point.I know it's breaking because if I moved the mergeregion after the settext, that doesn't work, and the rest of my code isn't running either.Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! var dwgTable = drawing.CreateTable (tabinstrs); var topLeft = pfcCreate ("pfcTableCell").Create (1, 1); var bottomRight = pfcCreate ("pfcTableCell").Create (1, 5); dwgTable.MergeRegion (topLeft, bottomRight, null); try { dwgTable.SetText(1, 1 , "CONN NAME PART NUMBER"); } catch (err) { alert("Error setting text in table cell"); }
Hello, I am working on an assignment that asks me to "plot the function (y(x)) and the first derivative of the function." Now my function is (2x^3-x^2+3) and its first derivative (6x^2-2x). For some reason, I cannot get the plot to show up like I know it should, It just doesn't look right. How would you all go about plotting this? (PTC Mathcad Prime)
