Hi,Why I cannot do like f2(x,y,z) as we can see the derivative result is depending on all 3 variables x, y, and z? Should be like that for f2? Prime 10
i Mathcad experts,I have some questions about Mathcad function. I don’t have any useful idea to solve my issues.I have one equation, and I can draw the curve of this equation. And then I try to solve the peak value of curve (fig.1) by using the method in EX2.Below are my questions.1.Any method I can solve this equation to get the fn_Y2, please see EX1?2.How do I use solve function to get the fn_Y2, if I have different inputs Q2 at the same time (please see EX3). I can do this when I only have one input, please see EX2.3.If the issue 2 can be solved, and then I would try to input the fn_Y2 to get the peak value . Also I would like to draw the relationship of Q and peak value, please see the fig.2 (this fig is from TI’s datasheet), could you please give me some suggestions.
I'm troubleshooting some unexpected behaviour with frameworks. My company works in metric, but the steel profiles we use are imperial. Building a weldment with plates and beams, I usually make the plates in our metric template and the beams through whatever frameworks uses to generate the parts. There are no problems until I make the drawing and detail the parts. The plates show metric dimensions just fine, but the beams show imperial values with no unit indication. In the picture attached, the R18.4 and R20.44 should actually be R467.36 and R519.176. Am I missing some settings that would correct this?
Creo Parametric 10.0.4.0Problem: With implemented auto assignment of material for new parts, Using the create workpiece option the material assigned does not have a density assigned. With company wide standard config option "mass_property_calculate automatic" a notification about Outdated Mass Properties is displayed and adds time to resolve. No option to define template when creating a new Workpiece in NC.No option to assign a Default density on newly created parts for workpiece. You can create Solid parts, assign density and reuse those part for workpiece using “Assemble Workpiece”. This is NOT a good solution takes longer to perform. Default material PTC_SYSTEM_MTRL_PROPS is not accessible to change. Article CS160794, incorrectly defined a way to use a template during creation. This only applies to Mold. This is very sad that this option has been available in Mold but not in NC for a very long time.
Hi In my drawing i have place 3 types of view with different different scales and I deleted the default scale note but now i need to create a new scale note for each views again. Suggest me with a best way to create that note again easily. Ramaniedharan R
HiA pros vs cons question... do people find the built in rendering functionality better than 3rd party apps like Keyshot? I'm restarting animating a model in Parametric, and watching lots of videos, but then I see some people still discussing questions on how to export mechanics to apps like Keyshot. Is the animation rendering in Creo Parametric more difficult / longer to complete / not as sophisticated / etc in comparison? Should I not bother trying to learn Creo Parametric animation rendering and instead export to Blender or Keyshot and do there? I know Blender is free, and I don't have a Keyshot licence. I have just updated my software to Parametric v11 (educational licence). Thanks
Hi,can anyone tell me which standard 2553 complies with the Creo welding symbol library?Could it be ISO 2553:1992?Thank youI'm using Creo 9.0.8.0
Hi everyone, I have a problem with interpolating data in Mathcad. Please see the attached file. In Excel, I have defined materials and temperatures. I want to replicate this in Mathcad so that when I select the material and temperature, the corresponding stress value is automatically displayed. Additionally, for temperatures ranging from 100 to 250, if I select a temperature like 120, the stress value should be determined through interpolation based on the material and temperature. I have also attached my Mathcad file. I approached this in two ways: The first method works for standard temperatures like 100 and 150 but shows an error if I select a temperature like 120 that is not explicitly defined. The second method involves interpolation but only for one material. If I have multiple materials, I have to repeat the process for each one. If anyone has encountered and solved this issue before, please let me know. note - these materials and temperatures ar
Hi All I'm a newbie in CREO simulate. Please guide me how to run a dynamic shock analysis on model with an input shock of 280g for 3 ms. Thanks in advanceDilip
Hi,I am new with mathcad, Could somebody help solve problem. Why temperature value is marked red color?
So I have had this issue randomly for some time now. It has persisted from Creo 2 M060 to the M200 release I am currently running, even persisting across multiple computers. In rare instances (could be a part drawing, could be assembly drawing) then the model is altered the drawing does not update the views. No amount of regeneration updates the views. So far the only consistent way I found to get the views to update was to rename the views (and then rename them back). That sort of works but it means that every single drawing view (incl. detail and section) has to be renamed and renamed back to verify that the changes in the part/assembly show up on the drawing. It really is strange, and no one here has been able to figure it out. any ideas?thanksGreg
Hello everyone I worked on MathCad 13 for years, but recently switched to MathCad 14. Generally, both versions are very similar, but it turned out that I have a problem - MathCad 14 is not able to solve some equations using the "solve" function, which version 13 solved. After a few seconds of "struggle", an error message appears, as in the attached graphic. In turn, in cases where version 14 solves equations created in version 13, it does it very slowly - in version 13 they were solved immediately after opening the file, and in version 14 you have to wait a long time, even about 10 seconds. What is the problem and how to solve it? I would like to mention that I cannot return to version 13, which I would like to do. Thanks
Please check the image and suggest me with the solution like how can i reduce the length of the weld symbol leader. ThankyouRamaniedharan R
In mathCAD prime 10, how to do element product in two column vectors? For example, A := [1 2 3]B :=[4 5 6] I want to have C=[4 10 18]. In this case, how can I express it in mathCAD?Please help me!
Hello, CREO allows symbol CZ (Common/Combinated Zone) in tolerance box: But it doesn't recognize SZ (Single/Separated Zone) symbol: Both are in ISO 5458:2018 specification. How can it be fixed please? Thank you
Hello All!I'm trying to use ModelCheck (with Creo 8.0.5.0), but all it does is just these messages:ModelCHECK - Unable to determine loadpt directoryModelCHECK is disabled. What I've checked / set: - ModelCheck component is installed- config.pro contains both "modelcheck_enabled (yes)" and "modelcheck_dir"- "mcdir" env. variable added- I use Creo in English, but I also tried the lang=c env. variable- the custom ModelCheck directory contains the "config" folder What (else) must be done to make the ModelCheck work?Thank you in advance!
Is there a quick and dirty way to create a cone in sheetmetal that consists of multiple bends (also called a frutstum)? My supplier of sheetmetal parts does not support rolling sheetmetal but bending is no problem. I cant find it which to me seems strange as this would be a simple but effective function?!
Hi,In Creo parametric if I change unit mm to inch in the part file after that if I check that detailing file some view have been distorted, section arrow becomes big and some views are missing.
Hello sir , I need EMX 9 for my creo 3.0 I can't upgrade. But as I was searching online it is not available any where, so can you help me and send me link for EMX 9.0 Thanks AAkash Jain

Im having trouble transferring my calculations from my private Computer ( PTC Mathcad 10 version trial) , to my university Computer (Version 9)Directly opening the new version Files, on old version is ofcourse not possibleCopy Pasting it in a external document and inserting it in the old version also does not workMy Question is, Is there any way of transferring my calculations from new to old version ?(It is not posible to make any aditional Instalations on Uni Computer)
I want to assemble/mate two parts together, but sometimes I am unable to select the origin and destination from the ' select from graphics area' option. Can anyone please help me with it.
I have defined function with "for loop" inside for table content processing. It looks simple, but unfortunately it doesn't work. Instead of calculation results , the message "This value mus be a scalar a matrix" is being displayed.I was using this function with Mathacad 15 and it was working fine, but I can't reproduce it within Mathcad Prime 8.Where did I go wrong? Regards,Bogdan
I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.4.0Is there a better way to create a visible area on a view using shapes, or datum planes rather than just using splines that you have to free hand draw?Another question I have, is when drawing with splines, can you create a hard, one point turn if you're trying to create a square for example?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.5.0I am having an issue when I post my program using NC post processor (Glidemaster Lathe with Fanuc Control). I am able to post the file but the file is not imputing any decimal points in the program. I have looked under “File Formats” – “General Address Output” but am still not able to get the program to output with decimal points. Additionally, I only have the issue in my Lathe post processor.
