I have a file that has a long tree of features. One of the early features has a sketch geometry extrude. It has a pattern of three spots. I want to undo one of the three areas and select another pattern. How is this done? Right clicking on the feature or the sketch doesn't give me any options.

We've received part/assembly files from someone that have restricted parameters. They are restricted to a predefined list of text values. We'd like to change the parameter to something not on the predefined list. I've found that to do so we could build a new restricted parameter list definition, set the proper config.pro value to call for that file, and then invoke the conflict resolution to make the new value available as a selection. The question I have is can I completely remove the restrictions? This seems to be a terrible "well, now you're stuck with this forever" situation. I don't want to have these restrictions inflicted on any new files I create, so I'll have to temporarily set the list-invoking config.pro value only when I want to edit new files from the same source. I'll also have to be careful to close Creo and restart without the restricted list being used whenever I create new files. The problem is the following: at some point, the edges of the parts in assembly become invisible in the view; only the hatching that belongs to them is visible. The section in the view is offset type, created by the sketch. These edges become visible only with ticked view setting "Model edge visibility" - "Area", but not visible with "Total" (but should be!).If I create a new view and assign the same offset section, the view is correct. But I would like to use old view, becouse it have assigned boms and hatching properties. What I tried to fix this:1. Updating view/sheet - it didn’t help2. tried to change the section sketch references - it didn’t help3. tried excluding and then including parts from the list of cut parts - it didn’t help4. tried to hide, then show all layers of the view - it didn’t help5. tried to assign a display style for all edges by default - did not help. the similar question not help 

I'm trying to turn this hole into a slot. I tried placing a palette over the hole but it doesnt snap. Is there a way to make it snap over perfectly? or do I have to line them up manually? Using Creo 10.

I've been looking with interest at the API offered with Mathcad Prime, and I have had some luck in recreating some of the various PTC examples in MATLAB using  actxserver("MathcadPrime.Application")  to link the Mathcad COM server to MATLAB.Where I'm encountering issues is extracting values from a matrix. Compared to the MC15 (of blessed memory) plots they are very primitive and limited and definitely not presentation quality. And for technical applications good plotting facilities are an absolute necessity. So, as it stands now, if you need some proper plots for, say, a presentation, then you have to export the data to Excel and try to make a plot there. For technical plots that's often not optimal and you may have to resort to a freeware or paid plotting package like Veusz or so for, say, decent polar plots. Good evening.I am trying to use user-defined FORTRAN functions in MATHCAD PRIME 10. Unfortunately I do not have the Compaq compiler mentioned in the online help. Does anyone know if other compiler such as Intel OneAPI can be used and if the procedure is the same as described in the online help? My concern is about the libraries that MATHCAD PRIME needs that are Compaq proprietary and the compiler is no longer on the market. Thanks.

Hello, For parts or subassemblies that have been suppressed via Pro/Program is there any way to resume these parts or features without modifying the code to un-suppress these items via Pro/Program? If you go to Model-Operations-Resume this screen is greyed out since the parts have been suppressed via Pro/Program. I have some assemblies that I would like to "Save a Copy" to use.  I would like for all of the parts to come along, but suppressed items do not come along with the "Save a Copy" option.  So I am looking for a quick brute force way to un-suppress all without having to go into the Program to manually do it.  Another point, is some users do not have DesignAdvP license so I would like for them to be able to un-suppress all without having the ability to open the Pro/Program code.   I am on Creo 9 Thanks!

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0How do i use nesting if then statements for functions? I haven't used this product in a while and can't figure out how to break out of the initial if statement to set up a second one. Is there a guide to this somewhere? can't figure out which buttons to press 😐

Hello Everyone, I am facing a problem with 'Dimension Cleanup' in drawing using the VB API.I am fetching dimensions from the 3D Model and placing them in the drawing using the VB API. However, these dimensions are placed in random positions on the drawing, so I need to clean them up and move them to the correct positions for the particular view.Please share if you have any ideas.   

I just downloaded prime 10.0 and compared the run-time to process several large data files containing a mix of floating point numbers and strings with my previous 8.0 version.  While 8.0 is already much slower than legacy Mathcad, 10.0 took 50% longer  per file than 8.0:  181 secs vs 118 secs.   I had hoped the new version would have solved the execution time issue, but apparently not.  I will continue to use 8.0 and pine for the good old days of Mathcad.
