Hi Team,We are trying to retrieve our license from PTC. But it was throwing INVALID HARDWARE error. Could you please take a look and assist on this please?
As per topic: Good day, I realise this is an old thread, but I am getting the same, frustrating, problem with a model study I am running.
Hi, I am Dnyaneshwar Maid and working as Sr. CAD Engineer in Miba Engineering Center, Pune Maharashtra State, India. We are using Creo 7.0 along with Windchill PLM Version 12.1.2.0 database system. In this year we have developed some macro/batch files for customization under Tools>>Auxiliary Applications>> option. These all customized batch files we have kept on common server which is located in Europe so that we all (Indian and European or USA Colleagues) can use these batch files whenever needed. Now we are facing issue and these batch file's are not getting started in India and coming message that unable run the batch file. When we contacted to developer he is saying that due low internet speed (low band width) these files are not getting run as these files are running from common server as mentioned above. We are having net speed of 200 Mbps and still developer saying to increase it to run batch files smoothly. I want to ask you all if a
I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.3.0Having succeeded in running the Java examples (Tools - Utilities - Auxiliary Applications says it is running), the examples do nothing? There is no difference in the ribbon, no indication that anything changed. Starting or stopping the examples through Tools - Utilities - Auxiliary Applications makes no difference.
Prime 6 does not appear to have a way to produce a grid on a 2D plot. Without a grid, plot values are difficult to read. Hopefully this glaring omission will be corrected in Prime 7. It would be good to have major and minor grid lines, of different colors and weights, but as a minimum the plotting features of MathCAD15 should be included. A related helpful feature would be to be able to control the orientation of polar plots. A current need is for a polar plot with zero degrees pointing to the left rather than to the right, with positive angles opening counterclockwise. One could imagine zero degrees straight up, with positive angles opening clockwise, or other orientations and directions. I posted this before and got a response to the effect that showing a grid is possible in Prime6 by way of some kind of plot editor. But I can't find any such thing anywhere in Prime6. If some tool is to be used, it would be helpful to know where
We're in the middle of WC12 and Creo 8 testing. I was successful in removing the featured object status column from my workspace display. Now I'd like to remove it from Creo File/Open dialog. That column seems to take over everything and I've not found a way to remove it or move the column.
See snip below & attached. I'm trying to solve for z_pna, such that the sum of the tension forces equals the sum of the compression forces.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.0.0After opening an item using "file open" dialogue box and "type" pulldown to filter by type (e.g. drw, prt, asm), the new Creo 10 "quick access" bar within the "file open" dialogue box automatically "pins" the type selection so that the same file type filter is still active the next time the user uses "file open". This presents a problem when a drawing is being worked on. Previously, Ctrl-O ("file open" shortcut)/Enter keystroke sequence was a very rapid way to open the active model in the drawing, since the active model is the default value inserted by Creo in the "File Name" field. However since file type is now pinned to previous selection (e.g. drawing), "Invalid Extension" error occurs upon Ctrl-O/Enter keystroke sequence and the user must now use an additional mouse click to "deselect" the pinned selection before pressing enter. The user should have the option to pin or not to pin the "type" selection in order to reduce m
Hi all,im new to Creo. I have the student version of Creo Parametric 9.0. I send a screenshot, where you can see my problem. The diameter of the shown screw is 0.5118mm. In the tutorial which im learning with there is a diameter of 13mm for a M14x1 Screw. Is there im doing wrong? If so how can i change that diameter. I hope you guys can help me out. Sorry for my bad english.
Hi communityI don't know how to use prime to find solutions to a robotic problem this problem is based on matrix calculus for a serial type robot it is easy to determine the direct geometry, i.e. to express the generalized coordinates according to the joint coordinates The difficulty is to solve the inverse geometry, that is to say determine the coordinates of the joints according to the generalized coordinates usually this uses Paul's iterative method I don't know how to solve these equations with Mathcad see the attached sheet
I want to create some ribs for an aerofoil. I have created the ribs using the offset coordinate system which produces a curve. I can't seem to extrude the curve, therefore I tried using the spline tool to sketch over the coordinates, however the line is slightly off compared to the curve which is an issue as the shape needs to be accurate. Any idea how I could produce the ribs thanks. Below is a coordinate system I used. Thanks
I'm making a piston mechanism in Creo Mechanism where I'm supposed to measure the piston's acceleration when it's 45 degrees from the y-axis, but the result gives me a percentual difference of 20% from the correct answer (-47000mm/s^2) What could I be doing wrong?
How to customize symbols and add the data table for the customized symbols in Creo schematic 9.0
HiI'm a relatively new Creo user. As the title says, is it possible to group a selection of sketch elements within a sketch? Like the "Block" function in AutoCAD/Inventor/Solidworks. (image of the function in Inventor attached) If not, is there a workaround? Should I instead create separate sketches on the same plane? Thanks in advance for any tips.
I need SCN so I can upgrade to network seatsvbottone@pagethink.com
Creo 7 I am looking for an automated way to create a cellular array of ribs and have run into what seems to be a limitation with trajectory rib functionality. The first pic below illustrates an example of what I want to create but I am not able to use the projection of the patterned hex curves in the sketch for a trajectory rib without manually selecting each hex. I am able to generate a pattern of cells that "should" be available for use when defining a sketch for trajectory ribs. So far, I am not able to select the cell array with a pick box or intent reference selection. Am I missing something with sketcher selection or in the projection tool within sketcher? Is there a better way to approach this from a modeling standpoint if I want it to be more automated? Using a fill pattern, I can generate the array from a single sketched hexagon and a few feature relations. It would be nice to leverage that and generate the ribs based on this pattern. I need a way to selec
May I know what is the function of "Update Layer" in this tab? it is grayed out in every layer. Thanks
Using Creo 8.0.Is there a way to change the color of the hole placement handles ? ( the symbols you drag to define XY placement of a hole on a selected surface). By default it is red, but is hard to see when superimposed on the selected placement surface that also turns red upon selection.See attached screenshot in where I refer to the symbol at the end of the striped red line.
I have a license for Prime 3.0 and am re-installing on a new PC after a few years away from Mathcad and require a download link - is there one available? Thank you.
I'm having an installation issue with Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Express. I downloaded the setup file, and ran the installer, but after installation when I launch the app the error message: "The code execution cannot proceed because mfc140u.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I have tried reinstalling multiple times and the issue persists.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM140In drawing sheet while creating linear dimension with reference of edge and bend axis dimension created but getting PRO_TK_INVALID_MATRIX error while using this api "PROANNOTATIONSHOW".when the drawing is active that time there is no error but when we open the drawing programmatically then getting errorHere are the errors that I facedPROANNOTATIONSHOW - PRO_TK_INVALID_MATRIX
I have on average 30 to 40 large Mathcad Prime 8 worksheets that must sequentially open, calculate using input numbers from an ASCII text file, output an ASCII text file for input by the next worksheet, then save and close before the next worksheet is opened. This is very labor intensive and I need to automate the process with a Visual Basic program. It is critical that each worksheet recalculate while it is open, to deliver correct and updated results to the next worksheet. I can get the attached example VB program to start Mathcad and open a single file, but I have not been successful in adding lines of VB code, that recalculate that worksheet after it is opened, and then save & close that worksheet with the changes, before opening the next worksheet - and doing it all again. Help! Obviously, I am not a programmer!
I'm currently facing a peculiar issue in Creo and could use some advice. I've created a part with a specific feature - a hole cut out. The problem arises when I attempt to mirror this feature. While the mirroring process itself seems successful, the original hole cut out disappears.Has anyone encountered this issue before? What could be causing the original feature to vanish upon mirroring, and more importantly, how can it be resolved? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance for your help!
Why does it take time to export PDF on Creo, i would like to know if there are other ways around this
My software won't load and a message comes up saying 'connection failed' and it asks for proxy server details - it never used to do this. Does anyone know how I can overcome it?
