Creo Direct 20.5.1.0For a deeper error analysis in ME10 CAD-files (file extension *.mi) we are looking for a file specification in which the individual components, especially the dimensions and tolerance segments (DTV) and the structure of an mi file, are described in more detail. Where can we find such a mi file reference/specification?

Hi, I am using Creo 9 and got this problem in an assembly environment.When I assembled a part to a sub-assembly and I encountered this problem that all the datum of the part cannot be seen. From the model tree, I could see the datum (layers, axis and DTM_csys) are grayed. But when I  chose a grayed datum (such a plane) and checked its information and found its status is "shown". Similar problem occurred to another part created in the assembly environment, I could not see its "Axis". Though its planes are shown. Appreciate it if anyone can help me.Allen

My intent is, I want to utilize a while loop with a continue/break statement to track a specific range of numbers within the column based on a given input row index. For instance, if I input the row-index value of "4", I would like to extract the range of values from the 4th index of variable "i" until the end.  Please help. Thank you 

Hello All, I have a system in which there are "N" number of  black layers and each layer will have random thicknesses.  Then, I want to put a red line on top of any black layer. Whenever I do so, I want to find the number of layers existing only below the red line and also the corresponding layer thicknesses. If the red line ends at the end of the lowest black layer, it should not find any layers below. I can do the worksheet if the red line is present at the top black line but am unable to do so if it stays otherwise. Please help. I have attached my work image for reference. Thank you 

Hi guys,   Im just wondering if it is possible to get result of overall volume of interfered parts. I have a really complicated assembly and measuring air volume in the closed housing. Some parts are fully in the housing but some are not. So instead of using multi body features I want to I know if there is another option to measure it.  Thanks 

I am working on redrawing a part from an old 2D print.I am stuck on creating the 4 internal teeth on the main ID.I do not know how to get a 3D curve on the surface and then i can merge surfaces and solidify to make the features. TIASon Nguyen 

Good afternoon,I have been trying to solve a bondary value problem of a 4 grade differential equation but I don't understand how I should setup up my worksheet to obtain the 3 derivatives (C1, C2 and C3 in in the matrix D_). Also, the function "sbval" returns me an error that says "unkown error: exception by call destination", and so I can't calculate the conditions that I need to obtain the solution. Attached there is the mathcad file in 8.0 version.Thanks to everyone for the help.

I have tried to setup the worksheet and in r = 0, I have obtained the initial conditions that I need but I can't undestand how I can get the solution to zero when r = R. I would like to configure what information is displayed on the Activate Window dropdown menu on the top left, so I can have enough information there to be able to imediately find the window im looking for. Currently, when you click on the activate window dropdown menu, it only shows the filename. It would be very usefull to be able to configure what info is displayed there,We use a description parameter on our files. It would be great to see, for example, " Partnumber - Description" on the dropdown. Example: Today, on the dropdown: Part1.ASMPart2.ASMPart3.PRTPart4PRTPart5.PRTPart6... then you think " I want to see the "plate....which one is that again?" and then you proceed to probably click on the wrong one a couple of times  after the change: Part1.ASM - Plate KitPart2.ASM - Plate AssemblyPart3.PRT - BoltPart4PRT - PlatePart5.PRT - WasherPart6..... Then you imediately click on the window you need. Is there a way to do this? We have phanthom and hidden lines in the drawing.If I set the Pen 3 pattern . it will only accept one Line style.(pen 3 thickness 0.010 cm; pattern 0.1 0.05 0.025 0.05 cm)How could different line styles be used? Hidden line and Phanthom line both use Pen 3.Please assist me in solving this problem.

Hi All, I set up an solve block looking to solve a few equation, however the no solution can be found in solve block but when I use root fuction, I manage to get some answers. What have I done wrong? Can anyone spot the problem, please help. Also how do I get rid of the NaN number i.e. 0.6i on some answer in the root function.       

Why is it that the inch hole chart doesn't show the medium fit even when I populate it? I've been trying to modify the OOTB hole tables because they do not match ASME B18.2.8. This standard includes close, normal, and loose fit.  Which I figured could correspond to Close, Medium, and Free.  However after populating the medium fit portion of table it doesn't show up in the drop down menu.  For ISO it does.  I've been doing some searching and found a post discussing this issue and it seems that creo doesn't allow a medium fit for "inch" holes.  I've tried working around this, but to no success. Anyone overcome this issue?  

Hi all,Is there a way to show how decimal places are displayed on 2D drawings?I have the config currently set at 0 places but if the dimension is for example 21.5 i would like it to display as 21.5 and not round up to 22.I know I can manually change the dimension it to 1 decimal place but is there a way it will auto do it? Thanks
