We are close to rolling out Creo 9 and I have opened up a bunch of tickets regarding the hatch patterns here are the highlights:   1. There is a bug in Creo 9 where cross hatching shows up as solid: You can change this by editing the values in the hatch_pattern_scale.cfg file which is located at \Common Files\text\crosshatch. However, if you make the scale large enough so that the hatch isn't solid then the preview becomes so large you can't differentiate between the hatches. It sounds like this is getting fixed in Creo 9.0.6 (SPR 14461770). You can manually adjust the scale in the hatch edit dialog box but I was trying to avoid making my users do this for every hatch.   2. The only way to remove all of the default hatch patterns if you aren't going to use them is to edit the .pat files in the load point (or overwrite them with a startup script). You can not remove ANSI31 as that is the default pattern in the model space. If you remove that one then hatch patt

Just started using CREO Parametric 10.0.0..... and notice that there is no option to set a standard tapped hole to have a thread depth through the entire length of the hole. For example, in part modeling making a hole-set references - set Standard type - set to thru-all depth setting- add tapping - go to Shape tab - the only option for thread depth is a blind specified value. No Thru Thread option.

Where can we see the other 2  solutions (which are the imaginary solutions) with the root solution on the graph that solve gives above? Hi, The situation is that I have an assembly of 5000 entities and I am trying to convert it to .obj file but the only way I can find is by selecting the entities individually. Is there a way or command that selects the entire assembly? Thanks, regards.

A few days ago, I was able to use the Unicode character map to insert a subscript into a graph label.  I was surprised I could do that, but it worked as noted in the attached png file.  Today, when I opened the same Mathcad 15 file, the subscript was lost and a blank box appeared where it should be.  See the attached images.  This is the ...2.png file. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Hello, When we try to import step assemblies in Creo 10, there is a model check message that we have to click many times before the assembly opens. Do you know how to avoid this? I already tried to see in the config options if there is a setting i could change but couldnt find something that makes sense.  Thanks

So whether an object is checked out, new, in progress, etc.   I found the status for checked out in the API "IpfcServer --> IsObjectCheckedOut(WorkspaceName as String, ObjectName as String) as Boolean " But I can't find any function/method for status "New" or "Work in progress". I would like to check beforehand whether an object is mutable. I have created a mapkey to open a .prt and import to .stp(refer config2.pro). I succeed on that one. But I also have several .prts to convert to .stp. so I copy the mapkey, pasted various instances and replaced the .prt names(config3). but it didnt work. later i found some tools from here Repeatable Mapkey Generator – 4K Side and that one works.how did that work mine gives error?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.2.0For an assembly I have a closed box filled with liquid. I can calculate the volume by creating a quilt and create a measure or analysis. If i add a component in the Iiquid the volume should be recalculated. Is this possible? I would like to avoid boolean operations cause i think this might slow my system. I tried adding a search function to create a query for the components inside the part, but this generates a layer and does not update if I add another part at a later stage.Do anyone have a suitable method for solving this?Here are the errors that I facedNone

Hey Community, I've got this wacky issue effecting imported images using the Image Tab(Attached is a 6in x 6in image being scaled by 1in=1mm and 1in=25.4mm) I've tested this and have reproduced it in:Creo 4 M150 (Current Software at my company)Creo 7.0.8.0 (Customer version)Creo 8.0.7.0 (Planned update to this version) It seems whenever a .drw is created without a model connected to it the units used for image scaling default to 1in=1mm. (Also effects resolution of the image) If you then create a new drawing of a .prt with "use template" in the new drawing dialogue box it carries this scaling over to the new drawing with no way to change it. Thus any image that comes in so tiny that a DXF has to be used instead of images on any print that was created using this method. If you create a new drawing of a .prt with "empty with format" in the new drawing dialogue box it changes the scale to 1in=25.4mm or Unit Conversion Factor for the unit specified the .DTL. (
