Hi,I often encounter "circular references" problems, although it can be laid aside because often this problem doesn't has fatal dangerous to my models, but the notification looks uncomfortable to me. But when I take a deep insight into this problem,I always failed to find which dependency relation is the cause, when I click to open the notification center,I only see the root node listed below "circular references(1)". So I want to ask for a method to troubleshoot this problem or any modeling principle to avoid this problem? thanks a lot.
Hi, I know this post is old but want to understand what did it end up going with? I have 3 files. The first is a skeleton with the dims i need to drive The next model is the cast version last is the machined version. I need to be able to change the parameters from the skeleton model but from within the machined file. TIA
HelloI want to know if its possible to select fictive line on 2d surface: generated with divised line ?Config option? It is only possible by copying a part of the surface With 3d curve and variable sweep its possible because creo generate a isoparam Thank you
Hi,Does anyone have a solution when exporting a drawing to .DXF format via Web.Link, the file name is always written in lowercase letters. How to get the file name to be written in uppercase letters. Part of the code is as follows:...var DXFOut = pfcCreate("pfcDXFExportInstructions").Create();CurModel.Export(FileName.toUpperCase(), DXFOut);...No mater what I always get filename od disk written in lowercase.,But if I export to PDF format I can get in uppercase format. Any idea, solution?
We've created a lattice structure using the Engineering - Lattice tool by first extruding a solid and then replacing it with a lattice. Our lattice is a formula-driven gyroid with Replace body with lattice checked. When we export the part as a STL-file and try to import it in to our CAD software it fails. When checking the geometry in meshlab using Filters - Quality, Measures and Computation - Compute geometric measures we get :"Mesh is not watertight, no information on volume, barycenter and inertia tensor" Any ideas on how to proceed? Hii, I am facing another error regarding the unit.It shows that the units are not compatible. What it means and how to solve this?Regards Arun
Is it possible to cancell my existing Mathcad subscription?

Hey there. This is my very first post 🙂 I have made a drawing of a car sign. I did my best. Then I needed help to bend the sign i two directions, so I got help from a **bleep** i know who teaches in Creo. But it is not quite okay yet and I can't get in touch in the "teacher" now. Is there anyone whom I can communitate with and send the drawing to. RegardsMichael
I have ModelCheck configured to issue an error and prevent check-in if a part does not have a parameter set to a known value or does not exist. If I create a new part and delete the parameter, ModelCheck functions as expected, and the check-in is blocked. If I have an existing part that got checked-in before I enabled the check for the parameter, it allows the check-in to go through and issues no error or warning for that file. The existing file was loaded into Windchill with the old ModelCheck rules, before I tightened them for this parameter. When running ModelCheck interactively, it still does not generate an error. MC_Verified is set to YEs from the prior check-in and we have set the value for ModelCheck hours to 100,000. Has anyone else seen this behavior before?
Thanks,
I have some suppressed features in part model. I want to enable that suppressed features in assembly level. (Like simp rep). Is possible to do in part level simp rep? or other option. But I don't want to create an instance.
These options are too short, not a complete word, and the PTC help document has no relevant explanation, I don’t know what they mean, can anyone tell me, thank you! I hope that the PTC help documentation can add explanations for all these options and sub-options.
for an existing drawing view, i want to change its rotation of that view . For the existing drawing sheet I want to do modification in its view orientation ,but rest over dimensions will remain unchanged (should remain same). only there shouldbe a change in view rotation & no need add or giving dimensions again from beginning. Is there any tool or feature to perform this activity ?(actually i am making a assembly drawing of a model) Plz kindly reply to this …..
I bought a license "Creo 9.0 University Student Edition Premium License". After I configured it I still could not create Mold/Cast Cavity. What should I do then?
Hi,I'm starting to study the creo welding module.I have a question. Is it possible to change the welding standard from ANSI to ISO in a model?I've done several searches in the guide and on the internet but I haven't found a solution.- First attempt: If I change it from the welding module preferences menu, the change does not take place. - Second attempt: It seems that the "weld_ui_standard" config option only affects new models. - Third attempt: The "weld_symbol_standard" option in the drawing options has no effect... Can anyone help me?Thank you.P.S. I use Creo 9.0.2.0.
I can see that most software uses 2 parameters for the gamma function, while Mathcad uses only one. How do I understand this? Is there any way to make an equivalence?

I recently purchased the mathcad prime program. I work on multiple different devices, all are owned and used by me. Is there a way to access my software license on multiple devices without paying more? I believe I have a node locked license and not a server hosted license. If I am able to access the license, how do I set it up? Thank you in advance.
Can anyone help me. How do I do double interpolation of the Cf values highlighted?. I can do the interpolation twice every time But I want to create a quick sheet that I can just change the values in the matrix.
I have a drawing that on it's second page uses ordinate dimensions. Out of these, the "X" value .000 dimension lost the reference and is now colored purple. If I erase this baseline dimension, them all other dimensions associated from this base point go along with it. I want to avoid this, is there a way to redefine the dimension so that it is no longer purple or perhaps a way to disassociate the children dimensions form it?
i have a big assembly with a lot of fasterners. many fasteners are the same. those share 1 bom balloon number.some fasteners are only used in specific configurations of the model. in this 1 view i have 1 (nut 1 = N1) lock nut that is always used . and 1 (nut 2 = N2) that is only used in configuration Xwhen in configuration X i need this view to have the balloon on N2. the balloon with the same number for N1 is already in a different view when i have it all set up correctly in configuration X and save it it is fine when i open itit is when i go to configuration Y that i see that the leader of the ballon from N2 has jumped to N1, the balloon itself is still on its spot so i basicly have a line running tough my view.when i configure it back to configuration X the leader does not return to N2.this is very annoying. i need the balloon AND LEADER to stay with N2, and when N2 is not used i just need it to dissapear. just like the balloons do for normal parts (often only on
I am trying to recreate a velvet endmill, and frankly, I have no clue where to start with modeling this. Usually, I use a helical sweep to model normal endmills, but this has me stumped.
