CAD

I can't use the command MAKE TRANSPARENT (I don't mean the Transparent command to set the display state) with the Geometry filter. I must obligatorily select Body as filter.But I can add that command in the mini toolbar in that Selection item...Is there a way to use Make Transparent with Geometry filter?  

Hi Masters.There are having the known series of Ipk(t), Ton(t) and Toff(t).I would like to draw a positive slope of straight-line which connects between the origin and Ipk(t) in Ton(t)and a negative slop one which connects between Ipk(t) and the end of period.     How to plot the inductor current by those series? I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.9.0I created a harness assembly which has around 40-50 bare individual wires and were not packed with bundles. After flattening and detailing, the flat length differs from the actual harness wire length (which is common) but the difference value comes around 1-2 inches. How to minimize this length variation?

Dear forum, Basically, I am trying to analyse the forced vibration of a single span Timoshenko beam on elastic supports at both ends. I want to at the end determine the displacement w(f), rotation phi(f), shear force Q(f) and bending moment (f) at the ends of the beam due to a force excitation on one end of the beam. I want a plot of these paramaters over the excitation frequency f = 1Hz., 2Hz, 3 Hz....1000Hz. To obtain these parameters, I need to solve for a matrix system which looks like this: A.c = b. A is a 4x4 matrix for each frequency, c is a 4x1 vector for each frequency and b is a 4x1 vector for each frequency. So, based on my frequency spacing of 1Hz from 1Hz to 1000Hz, I have 1000 4x4 A matrices in the A(f) matrix, 1000 4x1 matrices in the c(f) vector and 1000 4x1 matrices in the b(f) vector. I have tried using lsolve to solve the system of equation for the c(f) vector but I keep on having an error message which says that the calculation does not converge

Hello! I created a solid via the ProSolidMdlnameCreate function with type PRO_MDLFILE_PART.The problem is I realized that the solid is well created but has not a coordinate system CSYS. Do you know why? I think it is normal, I tried to create a solid via Creo template and there was no CSYS too. And do you know how to create a CSYS in a solid with protoolkit C code? (I'm using Creo 7.0) Thank you very much!  

 I am new to creo simulate. I have a doubt in applying loads on multiple faces while simulating using creo 8.0. I have granite modeled with 14 holes. I have selected all the 14 hole surface and applied a load of 1000N.Now the question is, if I do so, whether the software applies the load of 1000N to all the 14 holes(i.e for 1st hole, 1000N, for 2nd hole, 1000N and so on) or it will divide the applied load by 14 (i.e 1000/14=72 For 1st hole 72, for 2nd hole 72 and so on). Actually i have found the same problem but could not find the exact solution. @gfraulini

We have a MathCad Prime 8.0 license. And we try and move it to another computer. But we get an error during activation. It gives to many activations. Could you please release our license so i can install in on the new computer.Thank you!

Similar issue here, if my internet drops and creo loses its license, it seems to hang for 3 or 4 seconds every minute or so thereafter, even if it finds the license again. Restarting creo "fixes" the issue, it's as if the license checking timer changes frequency once it's lost the license once in a session. Edit to add; we're on floating licences on an AWS server, but not connected via a VPN.    RE: post

This problem exists in several versions of Creo (e.g. 2 and 7). When I want to select a funtion in the scetcher, the cursor doesn't change unless I make a click in the second monitor. This problem happens quite often. Sometimes I cannot type in values unless I make an extra click in the second monitor. No support could help me until now. The only advice was to exchange my hardware.

I have been trying to delete a component from an assembly during some days, but everything, that i´ve tried, has failed.Yesterday, I found some information about "ExecuteFeatureOps", and I saw that it´s necessary to select "resolve_mode". However, everytime i´ve tried to select that configuration, an error message appears:"To use a deprecated config option, you will need to supply an authorization code with 'allow_deprecated_config'. Please see article CS260154 for more information." I don´t know how to resolve it, so I would appreciate if somebody could help me.Thanks in advance!

Hi All, I’m trying to get to grips with the OTK Java Free toolkit to create a fairly simple tool to just output the top level assemblies from an assembly as STEP files. However, I can’t even get the sample code from the Creo install to work, including the install test  -which randomly requires a deprecated config.pro option that pops up a warning about needing a code to enable it. Does anyone have some good tutorials on getting a simple OTK Java free (formerly J-Link) program to work. Even just a hello world example? Thanks in advance.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.2.0Our company use Lemoine RTM to machining blocks, currently we are using creo 7.0 to design and export stp files to shop floor.it works fine when we load igs file in Lemoine RTM , but now we switch from igs file to stp file.stp file contains solid block model with 3D surface on top. usually we created a layer named 999 to keep 3D surfacethe solid block needs to be colored in grey(the only option we can do is select part and put grey color to ensure Lemoine shows grey), for stp file layer999 is disappeared in Lemoine RTM.I tried to remove all color in creo proe and export as stp file, it works but not what we want. hope we can solve this issue with your help, appreciate all.let me know if you need more detail about this issue,

I am a former high school educator (just resigned 2/3/23) and I am making the transition to an engineering firm. I had downloaded the trial version of Creo to brush up on my CAD skills but my trial is about to run out in 5 days. I got notice from my new employer that I will be working remotely for another couple of weeks. Is there a way to extend the trial version of Creo so that I can fill my time until they get my work issued laptop with Creo installed? Any help is a much appreciated!

Hello,I use CREO 8.0 parametric for the creation of large assembly, more than 500 parts and the 2D drawing of these assemblies, not renderization and simulation.  I would like to know if AMD's latest GPUs, such as the RX 7900 XT, are compatible with CREO 8.0 parametric. Is it better, for my use, opt for a professional version, RTX Quadro A4000 instead or take a non-pro version such as the RTX 4070ti? Thank’s
