Using Creo 7.0.5.0 Q: How can I find the Body ID's in an assembly? Reason:Error Diagnostics for Analysis/Assembly FailureAll position constraints can't be simultaneously satisfied. The following position constraints can't be satisfied:1) The following kinematic loop can't be closed: Ground - body38 - Ground. The bodies in each part is called Body1 (by default, I don't model multibody parts), making this information rather pointless. Can't find any model tree column that tells this information either.
MathCad 14 factored the function sinx(x). It is known from other investigations that this function has only real zeros. If you now look for the zeros of each factor (the terms are in parentheses), then MathCad calculates complex zeros that cannot be simplified. Where is the saw stuck here 😉 .Kind regards, Alfred Flasshaar
I am using Creo Schematics Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0I created a schematic using the ports that I created in my catalog. The ports have a name "##". I completed my schematic last week Friday and closed out my day. I returned next week Monday to find that most of my ports had been changed from ## to "universalport_#". Universalport_# is not used anywhere in my catalog. When I updated my labels, all ports that I had not personally changed that weren't universalport_# changed to universalport_#. I have changed some of them back to ## and they haven't changed back since then, but my concern is something like this happening again. Here are the errors that I faceduniversalport
Hello all, I am having some issues with Global Definitions. I am trying to define the following: kJ = 1000JWhen I do this, Mathcad (7.0) accepts the input, but the "kJ" stays black. It doesn't turn blue like other definitions I have used in the past. I am using a wrapper for REFPROP, and the author has the same definition in his worksheet. If I copy that into my worksheet, it works fine. But creating my own definition from scratch doesn't seem to function properly. Thus, when I make function calls for fluid properties in kJ/kg, i.e. enthalpy, the units are not correct. See the screenshot below. What's the difference between these two? How do I make my global definition like the one above?

I need to hide sketches shown in drawing views (sketches not quilts).I do hide it every time I open the drawing file, so I need a permanent solution.
There is one more calculation to be performed based on the interperolated values. However the value of appears to change after the calculation of . I do not understand why? Any suggestions. Thanks.
I'm just trying to make a vector from a function so that I can export the valuesHowever MathCad Prim 8.0 give the error "This value must be a scalar or a matrix". Why???Needless to say, not having the ability to just select all values from an array and copying and pasting, like it was possible in MathCad 15 is really, really annoying
Can someone please help me with drawings. Im trying to add 4 different part models to a drawing. When I try to label them with &model_name they all keep the name thats preselected on the bottom of the drawing(I attached image). Can someone please help me fix this issue?
Hi all, By using "&weldasm.totallength" we can show the total weld length in any table on DRW. But we need to use similar code in ASM parameters. I tried to use "WELD_LENGTH" parameter of each future in the releation. But when I try to use the future parameter in releation it gives as "WELD_LENGTH:FID_702:3" specifically with FID. I can't use because the number of weld future in each file will be different and the location of weld future will be different. If I successed to assign total weld lenght to any parameters I will sign as designated and will send to Windchill. Then I will prapare a query builder report which inludes total weld length of CAD Documents.Do you have any idea. It can also be a solution with mapkey or ModelCheck ... Best regards,
I am working on a harness drawing and on my table for pin to pin connections, I have parameters "&harn.run.cond.from.pin.name" & "&harn.run.cond.to.pin.name". At the moment these values are not populated in the table.1) Where can I access the values corresponding to these parameters?2) How do I edit these values? All I need for my table is to view the from and to connector pins.(Using Creo 8.0.4.0)
Hi,today I started a new 2D Exploded view for our company product;I noticed that for some component Creo starts group and put them under a single Balloon. That's not right, someone knows how to fx it?In the attached image a screenshot of my issue. The second component is a motor and is an assembly, it put 2 balloon. Thanks in advance
The development of a famous polynomial p(x) of degree 45 has already been discussed here. Now I searched further and found Vieta's approach to the ingenious determination of the zeros. His approach, identical to p(x), is p(x) = 2*sin(45*arcsin(x/2)). Mathcad 14 fully develops this. But I fail to get the usual polynomial structure to be able to compare it with the classical default. What am I doing wrong in attached file? Kind regards at Christmas time, Alfred Flasshaar
It wont install. The installation package will download, I give permissions to make changes to my computer, the extraction happens, a spiral comes up on my cursor, then nothing happens. I have windows 11, other windows 11 users I know are having the issue but those on Windows 10 are not having problems. Has anybody else experience this or have a solution?
Hello,As shown in image I am trying to calculate temperature change. I think units are compatible but mathcad does not allow calculation. What is my mistake, I could not find. Could you help?
I have a german installation of Prime 7. As I work for an international company, we use english in our documents. When I input text, the spell check always switches to german. So I have to manually format every text to english. How can I force MathCad to spell check in english as default?

I implemented a solve block, which worked with Prime6. Now with Prime7 it does not find a solution anymore. I reworked the problem using a simpler function to make it easier to understand and even this easy equation is not solved. Unluckily I have a new computer for some weeks, with a completely new installation and only have Prime7 installed. Both versions of the solve block do not work. I know, that the equation could be solved easier, I just used the solve block for demonstration (see attached SolveBlock). In my application the function is much more complex and it worked with Prime6 (SolveBlock_original).
As per the original thread. Dear sir @BenLoosli , If we have more drawings in the directory and while saving the assembly or let's say subassembly as a backup then how to figure out which drawing are utilise for the assembly. Currenlty this method is very time taken, we are currently doing manual checkup of drawing and then do save as a backup result into invest more time. If we have the pack and go functionality like solidworks then the process would be very easy, what say!
Has anyone run into problems trying to start up Creo 8 when Hyper-v is enabled? I have to uncheck Hyper-v, restart my computer to get Creo 8 to start. I don't have this problem with Creo 7 and below.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeF000Good AfternoonWe were having issues adding a new user to have access to the windchill server with creo parametric. Do users need to be added to to the application or is there a way to add the users based off their domain account. Or do we add it to the windchill website? Thanks,Cameron
This week, using Creo 8, I've noticed that the toggle Datum Plane function does not seem to work properly. In any instance, whether I'm in an existing part or creating a new one, the datum planes do not show up when I activate the datum plane icon. What I do notice is that when the key is activated, I can mouse scroll over where the datum plane(s) should be and it will highlight the datum plane(s) until the mouse scrolls away. If I activate a function, such as extrude (or others also seem to have the same effect) and then cancel the function before completion, the datum planes will appear. When this happens, the datum planes will now not turn off when pressing the Datum Plane icon. The Datum Axis, Datum Points, etc. seem to work as normal. Up until this week, I have never had any issues and I have not changed any config files, at least not intentionally. Has anyone seen this happen before and how was is mitigated?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.3.0Custom Ui dialogs are raised but are not active until user presses mouse button on them. This issue does not happen with 8.0.2.0 but happens with 8.0.3.0 and 8.0.4.0

Hi, We are facing compatibility issues with Zeiss Calypso software where we intend to export the model based dimensions from creo to the software(Calypso). Currently, all Feature control frame annotations can be viewed via the Calypso but all the rest of the model based dimensions are missing. Do you have any work instructions to export creo PMI informations to external softwares (CMM). Looking forward to your response. Thanks.
