Obtaining the ASYMPTOTIC Bode plot for the following transfer function: Mathcad Prime 7 result:   Why does the result in the Mathcad Prime 7 not look like it looks like in the figure in the example??The idea is that I want the plot in Mathcad Prime 7 to look exactly like in the picture above, with straight lines and those corners, and not to bend corners Mathcad Prime 7 at w=2 and w=10.Mathcad Prime 7 file attached.  

I have the Creo Schematics 8 version installed, but it does not open, when I run it with a local administrator user, it opens normally, on machines that have Creo Schematics 4 and that are giving this error, those that did not have any version are working normally with some solution for that ?

Hi all,I am new Mathcad user and stuck in using matrix in an equation. I have equation X equal to other variables, one of them is Z which is varying in intervals. I put Z in a matrix, as showing the pic.  I want X  outputs in values or matrix, but mathcad show an error.Is there a way that can form it to get X values based of z values rather than using many separate equations?   

To all I am looking at the ODESolve with a “saw tooth” input (y’’) and I get a very spiky response – see attached (mcad 15 wsheet will follow)Why is that?Tried different time steps but always get this rather spiky response ThanksJohn

How to install XMCD converter

The company I work for just updated from Mathcad prime 7 to Mathcad prime 8. Is there a reason why it is so slow? Is there any suggestions as to remedy this?With version 7, if I changed a variable it took less than 5 minutes for it to filter through the worksheet and I was still able to scroll with relative smoothness. Version 8 is horrible! It is taking 2 to 3 times as long for the same worksheets to filter through, scrolling during this is virtually obsolete and it will crash unexpectedly,Can someone from PTC answer why version 8 is this way? What are the steps being taken to fix this?

We're starting to look at using ModelCheck. We have complex CAD assemblies where different engineers own different assemblies and parts. The use case that we're expecting is that an engineer will run ModelCheck on a top level assembly, then share out the results with all the engineers who worked on that design. That way, each engineer could review the list for their parts and address any errors.    I'm trying to find the easiest way for that engineer to run ModelCheck, then pull the results into a spreadsheet. Is there an easy way to do this?   The only path I've found so far is the HTML summary, which can be copy/pasted to a spreadsheet, but then there are steps needed to clean up formatting and filter down to just the parts that have errors. It's not too bad for a one-time event, but it would be difficult to implement across a team doing it frequently.

I have a newly built pc with a ryzen 5 5600x and rx6600xt graphics card. I was able to get an educational license in order to use creo on my personal desktop rather than the schools computers. But every few seconds creo will freeze and then unfreeze two seconds later. Its making using the application extremely frustrating. Does anyone know a solution to this?

 See above screenshot, the spikes of stress calculations among shell elements. Does anyone see this before?! The stresses should be less than 20ksi, however, these spikes are around 2.0e+7 ksi. I am using Simulate 6.

Hi all, I have a Mathcad file created by Mathcad2015 (my best guess). Now that I'm using mathcad prime 8 (trial version), I can't open the old file. When I use the XMCD,MCD Converter button in Input/Output and link the path to the file and press "convert", the "MCDX status" says "no license" and I can't convert to open it in prime 8. Could you please help me with this. I can send you the file for your reference.

I've installed multiple versions of Creo 3, 6, 9 and on all of them, there is no active part window when opening the program. I'm able to create a new part file but nothing opens on the screen and the only windows that remain open are the startup ones which I can't seem to turn off. Since it's happened on numerous versions, can you recommend some fixes as it's obviously something wrong with my computer?  It has a NVIDIA 940mx 2GB graphics card running Windows 10 on a Intel i7 chip with 16 GB or ram. Didn't know if I need to install a driver or something?  Thank you for your thoughts! 

I have a helical coil spring that supports a cradle.  The cradle catches a structure and supports it when not in use.  The question I have is in reality there are 6 dof of how this spring moves.  It operates in torsion, extension, and laterally.  So it's a complicated scenario.  My question is whether it is possible to simulate this in mechanism.  I started with a 6 dof connection so the cradle could move freely but I'm unable to make the torsion spring connection because there are not co-axes to select.  If I change my connection to a cylinder then I can create the extension and torsion springs but lose the lateral movement.   My question is if it is possible to write the equations of motion between the two points so that I can create all 3 types of springs?  Basically can I made a UDF for the springs?  

 Hi there, I saw some articles on a keyboard shortcut and found a shortcut to activate a model in an assembly with ctrl+A.However, the command seems to be available for Creo 5.0 or a later version.I use Creo 4.0 so I would like to know about a shortcut like this.Do you have any ideas?Thank you. 

Hello, I have made a bowl with a hole in it (see picture) but now want to get the proper flat pattern. I have achieved this with the 'flatten form' future but then the flat pattern dia is as big as the formed dia.  How do I use the form futures properly or is there a different method? Some context: Right now we have a 3/16 HSLA round plate that we fully punch with some hyd magic. So I like to make the form that I want and then make the flat pattern.
