Bonjour,Je travaille sur la conversion de fichiers Mathcad vers prime et je me demande quelle est la continuité dans prime pour ce qui est des handbooks, y-a t'il la même fonctionnalité dans prime et si oui comment la convertir depuis Mathcad.Merci d'avance
Good morning, I need an integral of the function as shown below. This derivative of the antiderivative does not return the original function. Turning to Mathmatica, here is the correct answer: Ideas?
This month’s challenge is based on spin gravity and emphasizes creativity! Spin gravity is a method of creating the sense of gravity in a low- or zero- gravity environment using rotational movement. During this circular motion, objects with mass feel a fictitious centrifugal force “pushing” them away from the center. This force can feel like the gravity we experience on Earth. You can either design your own space station / vehicle or choose one (or more) from science fiction books, television shows, movies, video games, or other media. Then create a Mathcad worksheet to calculate the following: Radius of your spinning object. Centrifugal acceleration in both distance units per second squared and g’s (acceleration due to gravity at the earth’s surface). Note that your vehicle / station does not need to be 1g. Less than 1g makes it easier to move. More than 1g would help improve your jump shot on your eventual return to Earth. Angular velocity in radians, degrees, and rev
I am looking for a more detailed step per step explanation for the Creo FlowAnalysis Premium Module. I need to perform a gear box analysis with the multiphase and the rotation 1DoF module. I have not found any files about the rotation module.Does anyone know where I can finde some information about this topic´? Thanks
Dear all? I'd like to have some deeper / practical information on SVD function. From theoretical lectures it seems to me that Singular Value Decomposition could me a useful tool to tackle ill-conditioned matrix in eigenvectors search for homogeneous linear system. It appears also that SVD can solve a variety of problems; that does not help that much me as explanations are often at a too "high level"..... The material in MathCAD help is, sorry to say, in the same league: too abstract...I had also a look to the only one post on similar subject, and again sorry not so easy to be adapted to my problem (not so specialized by the way...) Could you:1) confirm me that what I've understood from theoretic is reasonably correct 2) give a more workable example: for example the search for eigenvectors (linked to eigenvalues) for a linear system 4 equations in 4 unknowns (using the MathCAD SVD algorithm)? The best would be that the square matrix linked with the said sys
@MatthewV What did you exactly do to solve this issue? Reference topic: https://community.ptc.com/t5/System-Administration/Cannot-connect-to-license-server-after-change-of-network/m-p/952844#M31019 How did you check if the network is classified as public or private? I have the same issue here but with a difference: I can pull the license but a colleague cannot. Thanks, Sjoerd
Good morning everyone!I've been using Mathcad (now M15) for decades, but I've never seen an error like this. Could it be because I only have 4GB of RAM? I'm really not sure what to do. Thanks to anyone who can give me some good advice.Regards.
I am using Creo Schematics Release 4.0 and DatecodeF000Layer control is missing. Tried to export settings from another user with the same result. Suspect a corrupted license.
hi, We're using Creo 10.0.6.0. We have many models that while regenerating flag multiple warnings, "Design Intent is Unclear." We always ignore these. I'm wondering though if that's what we should be doing? Many of the warnings seem dumb. Example: "The boundary of the highlighted surfaces was extended. Unexpected results are possible." If the extend feature should not be used, why does that feature exist? I'm wondering if we should mark the "ignore" checkbox in the Geometry Checks window. Is Creo taking longer to regen the models due to these checks? Is it possible to turn these checks off completely? (And would that be advisable?) Are there cases where the warnings are actually valid and the part really should be remodeled? All feedback is welcome!
How to do pipe end treatment in creo piping?Copper pipe end requires Converging/diverging profile at the end depending on the fitting size. Also the pipe end made it round using pipe end forming techniques. is it possible to do pipe end forming methods in creo piping?Below images are the anticipated shapes (Created in different CAD system, not in creo)
Before I start creating some new hole files, does anyone have any UN (ASME B1,1) and BSPP (G class) hole files. Thanks Stuart
1. I'm head of technical department, We realize drawings and molds for tyres 2. We use Creo 10 version. 10.0.8.0 3. My problem is to manage the state layer in assembly mode, for each kind of component where i have created inside of each one the releated state layer. 4.Complete the tyre sequence, in different rules study mold. 5.I don't know, is a new process. Speed on the drwaings and rules check and the modification is very helpfull for each drawer
Hi Guys I hope you all going good I'm trying to get the dimension from the Gtol, we have one API called "ProGtoldataPlacementGet" from this API we can get the actual Dimension of the gtol but this API is already deprecated. I'm using Creo 10, does any one knows the alternate solution please help to resolve the issue. Thanks
What is the correct workflow in simulate - assembly to replace a component with a point mass idealization at the part C.O.G. and constrain it to the assembly with links? When using mass idealization - component at point - the following notification appears: "You have included a mass idealization of a component which contains the highlighted volumes that will be meshed during an analysis. This will result in the mass being accounted for twice in the run."If I create a simplified representation of the part which removes the solid geometry, the simplified representation removes the component from view entirely (including the cog datum point defined in the part). My current approach is to open the part/subassembly to idealize, do mass properties, enable X/Y/Z COG features, then create an offset point with relations using those features to define it. Then I return to the assembly simulation and create an assembly datum point at the assy level defined by the COG location point within the part.
I'm using the "include" function to bring in variable values into work sheet. I would like to bring in variables from a second work sheet. I'm not always interested in the values of those variables but the expression in the worksheet that defines the variables. Problem is that the variables are from a set template but the sheet maybe from a different project. Is there a way to concatenate or suffix the variables from the second sheet within the sheet where the include function is used separately of each sheet? As an example, Z1MP from sheet one could be defined as 85%*Z1L or a number with units.Z1MP from the second sheet may or may not be defined the same. So I would like to bring in the value or better yet, the explicit expression and rename Z1MP from the second sheet as say Z1MP2.. Maybe explicit representation of the second sheet is reaching too high and I have to settle for the numerical value of Z1MP2
Hello everyone,I would like to control the overall dimensions of my assemblies in Creo using ModelCHECK. The thing is, I design welded assemblies in Creo, and I need ModelCHECK to send me an alert message whenever I exceed a certain overall size.I’ve already managed to create an overall size parameter and display it in the ModelCHECK interface, but I haven’t yet succeeded in comparing it to my threshold values and triggering an alert when the overall size exceeds those limits.thank you for your help 😉
Hello,I'm having a problem with PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 20.5.2.0 : Sometimes I loose the little "cross" next to the cursor resulting in me unable to select anything (see attached files). I tried to close the viewport but nothing changed. The only way to get the cross back is to restart Creo. I can't find a way to reproduce consistantly the problem. I get this issue 1-2 per week. I hope someone can help me.Cheers !
Hey folks,I’m running into an issue with Flexible Modeling in Creo, and could really use your help. Here’s the situation:I have a plunger part model originally created in SolidWorks. When I import it into Creo, as expected, the feature tree from SolidWorks doesn’t come through — it simply shows up as an “imported geometry id.” That means I can’t directly edit the original features. So, my only practical option here is to use Flexible Modeling to make the necessary adjustments. Now, here’s the problem:When I try to drag or offset the highlighted cylindrical feature (the main body of the plunger), it’s only extending along the conical surface. What I actually need is for the entire front body of the model to extend together with the cylindrical feature — essentially, I want the whole front section to shift forward as the cylinder grows. I’ve attached screenshots and the Creo part file (.prt) for reference. Unfortunately, I couldn’t upload the original .sldprt file, so I’ve
Hi,I have a part that has a groove in the shape of an arc (see screenshot below). In the drawing of this part, I would like to draw an arc to show the 'middle line' of the groove. This arc should be in the 'centerline' linetype so --- . --- . --- .Similar to the centerline drawn in the 2nd straight groove. In the drawing screenshot below, the red arc is what I want, drawn in centerline. How can I best do this?PS. I am using Creo 4.0 (on Windows 10).This is the arc shaped groove
Tring to generate a Kelvin lattice structure. One that once generated cab be inserted into the lattice feature to generate various lattice's. Has anyone done this or managed to find a good method of generating one? generated a rough wireframe but sweeps, extrudes and blends didn't seem to be the right way about it. Lattice i am trying to re-create can be seen in the following file https://s3.amazonaws.com/servicecloudassets.formlabs.com/media/Materials/Silicone%2040A%20Resin/lattice_watch_Silicone40A_STLs.zip
I have configured ModelCheck in Creo 11 to update part, assembly, and drawing parameters. When I run the ModelCheck in batch mode, only part and assembly files get their parameters updated and designated as per start file. Drawing parameters only update if I manually start ModelCheck Interactive. I've gone through the check file multiple times, and the settings (YNEW) are set identically for both Interactive and Batch mode in all checks so I would think they should work the same way whether I run Interactive or Batch.Again, the updates work for all files in Interactive, and for parts and assemblies in batch. What am I missing here?
I'm echoing values from another work sheet using the Include function. I want to show a variable equal to the original value but not evaluated to a number. SYNC bus:=VAZ I gather that I need to use symbolics. Can't find the right combination of modifiers.

(view in My Videos)Creo 7 (yes, I know it is unsupported). This issue has had me waste a couple of hours already and I am stumped. Model enclosed for review. I have a trivial sketch that is not correctly constrained when using a relation to control a sketch which is a parent of said constrained sketch. First sketch serves as parent of sketch 2 Sketch 2 Video showing that when driving sketch 1 using a relation to drive dimension d10 in sketch 1 the constraints in sketch 2 are not maintained correctly. Anyone have any insight into why?
Hi,Is is possible somehow to calculate a1 and a2 integrals? MP10 file attached.
