Hi Team, I have attached a snapshot. I am using C# for my uses and vb API to communicate creo app. my requirement is to be control on pop-up message's "OK" or "Close" button, Is there any way to get control on this "OK" or "Close" button from my C# code? I mean want control to close that pop-up from my C# code using vb API. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
I am using CREO parametric version 6.0. I need to flatten conical flight in CREO is there any method to flatten flight ?

“Spatialization or 3D rendering of sound means that you get the feeling that you are pulling your speakers out of your ears… hearing the sound or music coming from around you instead. It is actually proven through various studies that that is a more natural way of listening. ” Jabra’s owner company GN is an audio and video communications technology company which was founded over 100 years ago to undertake the epic task of placing the first telephone line between China and Scandinavia. Since then they have continued to innovate in the area of communications and today they design and manufacture communications devices such as wireless earbuds, headsets, intelligent hearing aids and video conferencing solutions. Their wireless earbuds are full of cutting edge technology such as advanced noise cancellation, wind cancellation and of course essential for the runners, sweat resistance. They even manufacture some of the toughest, most durable headphones on the market. On
“The rescue services need to know that the vehicle is safe to approach… with this app, we have a 3D view of each truck and this augmented reality view.” With many governments making commitments toward zero-emission targets, more and more of the trucks on our roads are becoming electric. Whilst good news for the environment, it can present challenges for emergency responders, who may not be familiar with how these types of trucks are built. In the event of an accident, emergency services need to be able to access vehicles safely, and potentially, rescue people trapped inside. This means knowing things like where the battery is, where high-voltage cables are or which parts of the truck can be safely cut through. Volvo Trucks is the market leader in the manufacture of electric trucks in Europe, and as has been the case for decades, they’re improving safety through clever innovation. They’ve developed an app for use at the scene of an emergency which guides those on the sce

I modelled flight screw in CREO version 6.0 . for manufacturing purpose I need to flatten the flight. top surface of the screw is essential for manufacturing purpose, so I am using flatten quilt to get the flatten the surface and the surface as been flattened. I am using flatten quilt deformation I am able to project the divided segments from the helical screw to flatten quilt , but i did not get exact dimensions from the flatten and helical it varies around 10 to 15mm is there any possible way to get the exact dimension. 1.helical form 2.flatten form
session stopped, tried to open again and got the following error message The code execution cannot proceed because pglcgf_sh.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem. I reinstalled Creo and same message returned
Any idea why the revolve Axis pattern keeps failing? I have patterned the sketch with the extrude but no difference. The sketch patterns fine, but the extrude will only do 1 additional pattern. This is for a spur gear where I input parameters like #teeth and the model should update. Only the pattern about axis is causing issues. Something with my references? I have an older spur gear file from Wildfire 2.0 that works for one feature (half the gear tooth) over 40 teeth and then the other feature (other half of gear tooth) only works up until about 30 teeth then it fails to create the additional patterns beyond that. File attached is of my new spur-gear where only one additional extrude pattern is being created, others are failing to generate. Reference issue?
Hello community, I've got a question related to a start template for 3D Parts in Creo. Is there a possibility to adjust the size of the reference datums? I know the parameter "datum_display_default" which is already set to "preconfiguredsize", "datum_outline_default_height" and "datum_outline_default_width" are also set. The problem is that the first reference datums are not affected by this paramter. Is there another way to adjust these datums? Many thanks and best regardsChristian
Hi, I need to collapse a feature in the model tree but the feature is greyed out when the part has a family table. I need to collapse a "Copy" feature to remove its reference to make it independent of any reference. I'm using Creo 8
AllI've taken some of the introductions to CREO Simulation applications including Ansys and their own internal application. I've been trying to apply this in my designs, and have had good success in optimizing parts designed individually.I'm working on incorporating analysis into assemblies to get a better idea of how forces from one part transfer to an adjoining component. For the above simulation, the assembly constraint for the lever arm was a "Pin" with rotational limits that went past the point of contact.Additionally, 3D Contacts were added for the lever-CAM-radius and the flat surface they would be contacting.Note however all the force from the lever is being transmitted into the block at the first junction (Red Circles), and not at the lever-CAM contact points (Orange Circles.) Is this a problem with:- Assembly constraints?- Mechanism setup?- My expectations for Live Simulation? Appreciate any insight!Dave
Good morning, We use the CREO application, not Math cad! I therefore cannot choose the “Creo Expert Moldbase” “Creo Tool Design” “Creo Design Essentials” solution for support in using Creo software. I am using Creo Simulate Release 4.0 and DatecodeM070The Large deflection option is unavailable to select for a single pass contact analysis#, do I need a different licences to select this option? Here are the errors that I faced*** Warning: Large deformation and/or strain detected during contact analysis. More accurate results may be obtained if 'Calculate Large Deformations' is selected.
Hi all, I have been trying hard for the last few days to calculate thrust on a propeller, but failed miserably in every attempt. Since there are no detailed videos showing this (or i couldn't find them), can anyone show or tell me here how to do it.I have tried using rotating wall and non-inertial frame.
ERROR - Entities do not form loops; cannot modify draft hatching Cannot select draft entity, I'm in sketch tab even cannot select draft entity with Alt key.
Hi everyone,I am doing a drawing for a 6 cylinder crankshaft and I need to show Cross sections for all lubrication holes along the crankshaft axis. The holes are always normal to crankshaft axis, but at different locations along the crankshaft axis. Is there any way to select a plane which would serve as a reference plane to create multiple cross sections paralel to that plane but with offset dimension. Also, would it be possible to place the created cross sections directly below the parent view and show the cut position with a line (instead of arrows in parent view)? Thanks ahead!

I NEED TO FLATTEN THE FLIGHT SCREW , IS THERE ANYWAY TO FLATTEN THE FLIGHT? Updating Media
I'm in Creo 7 & Adobe Acrobat X. I do a Save As/Save a Copy/PDF and the PDF I get has really short dashed lines that are supposed to represent hidden lines, there not scaled to the size of the part. This wasn't a problem in Creo 6? Is there a solution?
Hi Could somone please clarify as to how I can access the dimension properties. As I first go to switch realtions, and the click on the dimension, and then right click, there should be option there to access dimensions properties for me to change the parameter name but there is no option please can someone help me ?! Note the the dimension change is in a prt.file
I have been following the Get Started with Creo Parametric Modeling playlist to learn Creo as a SolidWorks user. The playlist was straightforward until I got to the Create Shell Features tutorial. Setting the shell thickness to 3.50 causes the feature to fail, and even setting it to 1.50 results in thin geometry being created. While I don't believe I've made an error, it's possible I overlooked something when going through the tutorials. I've attached the part file to this post (it's a Creo Versioned File, which cannot be uploaded directly to this forum). Version: Creo Parametric 8.0.4 student edition, Creo Parametric 10.0.0 student edition
How to do ultrasonic welding for two plastic parts?
I have a disc with a diameter of 120 . On the side of the disc, there are bolts arranged in an axis pattern. Currently, I use a 60-degree angle from the center to position 6 bolts around the circle. However, if I change the diameter of the disc, the number of bolts remains fixed at 6.I want to establish a relationship for the curve pattern so that as the size of the disc increases, the number of bolts can also increase in proportion to the disc size in the axis pattern. I am aware that for a straight line, one can use the 'ceil' function, but I am unsure of how to apply this to a curved surface. Please refer to the example pictures below. The last picture illustrates an increased disc size, but the number of bolts remains the same. The last picture is the increased size but the bolt remain the same.
Initially posted in this topic We are facing the same problem. We would like to add all bolts to ID100.. washer to ID200... nuts ID300... We are using the fix index method for this, but is there a way to do it automatically, I have created mapkey that export the table out, fire a script to create ID's , but how can i import/update the table on the drawing?
