Hi Team,I want to keep custom settings in Creo in such a way that whenever I create a hole in the model. The Hole location and it's depth dimensioning should have 2 decimal places by default in the drawing. Also, I want to set The angle of the hole as basic by default. Is there any possibility without affecting other things' tolerance in 2D Drawing? The rest of the dimensioning should be per Creo default.I would appreciate any solution for the above request. Thanks so much in Advance.
When editing a family table cell, the cursor goes AWOL (missing) and I have remember how many left or right arrows to edit text in a cell. I am using Creo 9.0.4.0. Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts to a solution. Brand new systems with the specs called out for Creo 9.0.4.0.
User is trying to allocate more RAM for his Creo Simulations by updating config.pro file, but it doesn't seem to be reflecting in run summary.sim_solver_memory_allocation
I am trying to replicate this drawing of a solidworks model from their model mania. (https://blogs.solidworks.com/tech/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/Model-Mania-2004-Phase-1.jpg)I am having trouble recreating section B-B in my own drawing, the closest I have come to this is below.I have tried using zones and dabbled in full aligned/unfold cross sections but I am unable to figure how to do it. Help would be greatly appreciated. I am using creo parametric 9.0 student version.
Just wondering what the heck is the difference between Sketch and Skeleton features? For example, when I do Copy Geometry, I know I can copy Sketch elements from a regular Prt file, so I'm wondering why I should buy AAX and get the Skeleton feature.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.3.0I have a 2d repeat region to report fam.inst.param.name as column headings and fam.inst.param.value as rows. Is it possible to write a relation or something to show a column heading as a specific text rather than fam.inst.param.name. For example, if the fam.inst.param.name begins with 058914, can I report BACKPLATE as the column heading instead of 0589140010? I want to leave some column headings as reporting fam.inst.param.name.
Hello i need to create a knot but is not working out well. The spinal or toroidal bend is not suited for this. I am using Creo 7.0. Any tips are much appreciated thanks
Using Creo 9.0.5.0. While adding a leader to an orphaned note, the leader automatically want to snap to either perpendicular to the surface to which it is being attached or to a line that it is crossing. While hoovering close to the edge/object the leader is on an angle (it does have a little perpendicular symbol in a circle) but as soon as the mouse is clicked on the edge it snaps to perpendicular. Actually as soon as I click on add a leader, this "helpful" little feature shows up. How do I turn this "helpful" feature off? {Thanks for the help 🙂 }
What I want to display: 0.1 [.004] I have gtol_secondary_value_precision set to round, dual_dimensioning set to metric[imperial], and gtols set to ANSI standards. The problem is that no matter what I try, the secondary unit won't round up. If it is set to 0.100 it shows [0.0039] but when I put 0.10 it shows [0.003] instead of rounding up.
PTC says they don't have a csv file for drawing (dtl) options. How do all of you sort through what the new ones are? I created an idea for this: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Creo-Parametric-Ideas/Provide-a-reference-document-as-a-csv-for-all-of-the-drawing/idi-p/893254#M19526

After clicking on "Launch Creo Parametric Trial" it downloads what i assume is a download client a gray pop up shows up (Powered by Claudpaging), and after a few seconds Launcher shows error message that reads "The server cannot be reached while authenticating the session. Please try again or contact costumer support." after that launcher delets itself from my pc. It says that its trial version 10.0.0.I tried it a few times and its always the same.
I am trying to split bodies but every tutorial and support page on ptc refers to a "Body" ribbon up at the top where I have highlighted in red. What am I doing wrong? I have never had such an issue trying to learn a new feature. I have been able to split a part in sheet metal with no issue but now that i have a regular part it feels like I am missing a function. I just want to know where the Split Body Command is. I have used the search command with no success.
Is there a way to keep hidden lines in .dxf file when converting from .drw file?
Hi, I want to rename a SolidWorks part file that is directly opened in Creo. I don't want to make a copy of that. Is there any option for it?
I would like to see some info from the TOOLS / INVESTIGATE / FILE HISTORY in a pvz file. that way non-creo users can find out who to ask a question to if they want more information. Is it currently possible?
A drawing has a couple of check points: QC_PT1 & QC_PT2. How can these be shown in one view of a drawing but not in all the other views of the drawing? Is there a way to show points in just one view? Also, you would have to remember to turn these on all the time since typically points on now shown in drawings. Point turns off Points turned on, but showing in all views: This post was similar, but didn't answer what was needed: https://community.ptc.com/t5/3D-Part-Assembly-Design/Showing-datum-points-on-drawings-when-creating-a-pipe/m-p/428622
Hi all, I'm using Creo Parametric 7.0.2. I'm working on trying to use C# p/invoke interop method to call a Creo function from the C++ toolkit. I have a C++ .exe that will include the Creo async functionality. It exposes these two functions: extern "C" __declspec(dllexport) int ConnectToCreo() { pfcAsyncConnection_ptr connection = pfcAsyncConnection::Start("C:\\Program Files\\PTC\\Creo 7.0.2.0\\Parametric\\bin\\parametric.exe", NULL); return 0; } extern "C" __declspec(dllexport) int NoCreo() { return -1; } For the C# side, I created a simple command line app: using System.Runtime.InteropServices; namespace CreoInteropPoC; internal class Program { [DllImport("CreoAsync.exe", CallingConvention = CallingConvention.Cdecl)] public static extern int ConnectToCreo(); [DllImport("CreoAsyncDll.exe")] private static extern int NoCreo(); static void Main(string[] args) { Con

Hello all, I've been trying to create a mapkey or macro that updates my config, pro file in Creo Parametric 7. I have one right now, but it briefly opens the configuration editor UI. I more or less want the config.pro file to constantly update in the background and this is part of my plan in that. I've set visible_mapkeys no and it didn't do anything. Heres the mapkey I have now: mapkey qe @MAPKEY_LABEL reload_config;\ mapkey(continued) ~ Command `ProCmdRibbonOptionsDlg`;\ mapkey(continued) ~ Activate `ribbon_options_dialog` `ConfigLayout.Open`;\ mapkey(continued) ~ Command `ProFileSelPushOpen_Standard@context_dlg_open_cmd` ;\ mapkey(continued) ~ Activate `ribbon_options_dialog` `OkPshBtn`; If anyone has an easier way of getting it to constantly update or not show the UI, I'd appreciate any insight. &nb
When importing thousands of points from an excell sheet, Creo assigns random names to them. Is there a way to copy and paste the points' names from the excell sheet? (Instead of renaming them one by one ) Or alternatively use a script?
How do I shorten extension line on annotation? Whats the option called in drawing options?
