Hi guys,   we are working with Creo3.0 without Windchill and we are trying to generate some kind of "structural" BOM table to use in our assemblies. This BOM table will contain all parts of the assembly in the structure as the assembly is been assembled. So the table will look a bit as this:   ASSY-0001 (1x) ASSY-0100 (2x) PART-1000 (1x) -> (total=2x1 + 1x1 = 3x) PART-1001 (1x) -> (total=2x) PART-1023 (1x) -> (total=2x) ASSY-0200 (1x) PART-1000 (1x) -> (total=3x) PART-2000 (1x) PART-2010 (1x) ASSY-0300 (1x) WELD-ASSY-3000 (1x) PART-3001 (1x) PART-3002 (1x) PART-3010 (1x) PART-3011 (1x)   So far this isn't a problem, I just can sort my table on "rpt_level" and it will result in the correct structure. In this table I also can get the quantities of all parts, without any problem by using the parameter "rpt_qty". I've got a family table of an assembly who's components are also family tables. The only thing that changes in the top level generic is the overall size and this is done by selecting the appropriate component instances for said size. We're using Windchill to manage all of our parts and workspaces. I am trying to add welds to the top level generic but when I do, it causes verified instances to become "modified in session" when retrieved. Even if retrieved into a brand new and empty workspace. This is an issue because a modified instance can cause the generic to become modified which in turn modifies all other instances in the table. This particular table is has hundreds of instances and it is simply not feasible us to bring in hundreds of instances and re-verify the table every time we need to use a member of this family table. I've tested this family table without the welds and did not run into this issue which is what leads me to believe that the welds are causing this. What

Hi there, I've been having a bit weird issue. I'm using Section Views in postprocessing, and it keeps messing with the color representation of selected values (as seen on images below). When I tilt the surface to some extent, the colors are OK, but as I'm moving it back to perpendicular view, the colors change as if there was weird light reflection going on (which probably is). I have tried to turn off the lights in Scene Editor, but it did literally nothing for the Flow Anaylsis modue, as if it had some lightning on it's own.  Any suggestion what might be wrong?Thanks

I would like to export a single step file with 5 bodies, with each of them retaining their individual color, like I have done in SW. However, no matter what settings I put in, it always applies the color of Body 1 to the entire list of bodies.  Am I doing something wrong here?  Thanks for the help!

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 3.0 (connected) Release 3.0 and DatecodeM120I have a user using Creo 3 on a laptop with a docking station and external monitors. He was having an issue where parts and assemblies were opening extremely slow. I recalled a similar issue and it related to the external monitor. If Creo opened on the external monitor, it ran really slowly. If it opened on the laptop display, it opened the part or assembly much faster. It seemed to relate to the video adapter that Creo was trying to use, either the onboard intel one or the nvidia video card. The user is now claiming that things are opening slowly anytime he opens Creo when docked. Do you know of any workaround or best practice in this scenario?

When he open the main assembly, then he open part, he check the mass properties in the model, doesnt change anything. Then he close the part and see main assemby, Creo regenerate assembly and then Creo fall down. I have a traceback.log (in attachement). Do you can check the file? Hello community,Currently, I use tools such as GerbView or Viewmate to import and review multilayer PCB gerbers.  I can load as many layers as I want, turn them on/off and set up various viewing filters. I use CreoView with the ECAD additions for other things, like reviewing board design data.  It would be cool to reduce the number of tools I need for circuit board reviews.I've tried to bring gerbers into CreoView, and it works but does not overlay them all like the Viewmate tool.  I'm fairly new to CreoView, so I'm guessing there's a way to load them all into the same viewer and manage layers accordingly, but so far I can only get two layers to overlay at one time.  Not extremely helpful to see the big picture. What am I missing here?  I've hunted around PTC's help and the website for guidance, but thus far have only found information for comparing two layers or loading a layer at a time for review. Anyone have guidance on using CreoView ECAD in the same manne
