Hello everyone,I am trying to write a JSON exporter using Creo object toolkit C++. I would like to know whether there is a way to get all the details (dimensions, coordinates, textures etc. ) related to a model (.asm or .prt)Regards, 

As per this thread - same issueHi,I've the same issue and I tried this solution.It's very strange because with another normal use (on the same workstation) simulate works, with admin user Simulate works but with the firt normal user doesn't works. All other functions of Creo Parametric (6.0.6.0) work without issue.Is the only solution to format the PC?

HI, I'm doing a drawing, and I want to show an assembly with a set of parts in the "closed" and "open" positions.  These parts are a dedicated assembly, and are assembled with the slider constraint.  (So I can happliy show others how this 'tray' moves in & out) How do I show a view, with it in place, and another view with it extended using the limits of the slider constraint?  I'm assuming a simple rep, but how do I pick / set the slider constraint in the simple rep?

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 7.0 (connected) 7.0 7.0.3.0When detailing drawings, we start with a format that is auto numbering sheets as we add/subtract them. The problem is we would like the count to start of sheet 2 (as being sheet 1 of _) but it automatically still pulls the first sheet even if thats not where i want it to start, We use sheet one as a quote drawing and sheets 2 thru _ as our detail prints, which are the only ones we release to the shop for manufacturing. Hi guys, Another #$%^& with Creo: GTOL placements. I have a dwg, and I had a GTOL attached to a surface with an arrow (someone else did this, so I don't know exactly what was done.) I’ve since made a change to the part (Revised a radius), and surprise! Creo has lost its reference to what it was attached to*. So, now I have a GTOL floating around on a dwg, and I cannot for the life of me, figure out how to bring the arrow back / reattach it... This shouldn’t be a time consuming, convoluted thing to do..  (but, sigh, this is Creo..) I can get eh GTOL refence dialog up, but it' says everything is complete.  Yet eth GTOL box is just floating around.  No leader / arrow..  and when I try to "reattachment" it comes up with a warning that doing so will break any association with the original placement.. Doubly frustrating is how you can't 'escape' out of a command.  in this case, I've been trying different things to get it to 'reattach', bu

As the weld module is terrible programmed by PTC (it is slightly improved in Creo 4.0) we have several problems with this module. As it seems that PTC has no priority in improving this module I am interested in if there actually are companies using it. Maybe we can share some findings and give feedback together to PTC hoping it makes more impact.

Our vendor who uses a CNC machine to cut out our sheet metal parts needs our fabrication drawings to show decimal inches to create his CNC program. When we receive the finished parts back from our vendor, our shop verifies the bent sheet metal parts using tape measure which are imperial fractions. The parts aren't highly critical so we don't get into any problems using decimals and fractions.   Is there are way using dual dimensioning to show decimal inches as the primary dimension and fractions as the secondary dimension? I've tried several different configuration options and none have worked.   If there are no settings to do this, does anybody have a work around?   Thanks, Steve

I see, that I'm not able to have some different corner reliefs in my part done by copy geometry from skeleton.Are there some suggestions?I can apply modified corner reliefs, but this do not have any influence on the geometry. Thank you!

I am modeling part, which will be 3D printed, using SLA/FDM printers. I am looking for any tips to model a representive weld on a part. The basic design is a tube inside of a yoke, and I would like to represent a stick weld on the end.

Hello, ProGroup t_Group;ProLocalGroupCreate((ProSolid)asm_mdl,feat_id,num_refs,L"COMPONENTS_TOP",&t_Group); I have something like this, asm_mdl is an assembly with many part components in, feat_id is an array (feature id) of some (not all) components part inside the assembly, num_refs is the size of the array. When I run it, a confirmation window opens and says "Group all features in between YES or NO".When Yes, it creates a Group with all components in the assembly.When No, nothing happens. My problem is that I want to group only some part component (the id I have putted in the array) not all.Another problem, when I create two groups sequentially, the second group is created inside the first group. Hi,  We'd like to take advantage of the Windchill 'Publish to CAD' functionality, which allows a CAD structure to be driven from a WTPart structure, however we're hitting a regular problem where a part with dependencies is removed from a structure. Steps to recreate the problem... 1) Create a Creo assembly of 2 sub components, with the 2nd component assembled to the 1st... 2) Create WTParts for all components, and build the WTPart structure... 3) Remove the 1st component from the WTPart structure, and use 'Publish to CAD' or 'Compare to CAD Structure' to drive the changes into the CAD structure... 4) Open the updated CAD structure in Creo, the changes are correctly shown... Everything works correctly until this point, however after accepting the changes, Creo reports an error and rolls back the changes... It seems Creo is unable to deal with a component being removed where it has a dependency (assembly constraint, sketch, datum, xsec etc.), this

hi. CREO 4 user, here. sometimes I need to have different arrow sizes for some dimensions (i.e. on a second page or a detailed view). I know that I can set the arrows dimension (height and lenght) for the whole drawing, but is there a way to set these parameters for just one dimension? or, maybe, to lock these values to the text size through a ratio parameter?  I'm asking that because I don't know if it's even possible, as a lot of other options are locked or hidden by default by the IT department of the parent company.  thanks for your help, for reading this.  have a nice day
