Creo+ and Creo Parametric

Good afternoon,Currently just joined a company that used Creo 7.0, so I am very new to it.  For the past 13 years, I have been using Siemens NX 2206 in association with TeamCenter PLM.  What would be the best Creo 7.0 self paced training to utilize in order to learn basic sketching, modeling, assemblies and drawings, preferably in that order?I can start a sketch, however I am having issues figuring out how to finish the sketch and add 3D features in order to create an actual part.Hope this makes sense 😂Thanks in advance.,Chris S

Hello,  We are on Creo 9.0.3.0. I can make a 2D Family Table no problem, but then I am stuck with the names of the parameter that include the underscore since a lot of names are muli-word, and cannot be named with any spaces.  I had THOUGHT that's what the Description field would be for...so you can just show that as the name instead of the actual name, BUT I cannot figure out how to use the Descriptions AT ALL.  fam.inst.param.description doesn't work, and I also cannot figure out how to even reference the description in Relations if that route is necessary to fix this. Next, I have Objects (They are Word docs) that disappear after saving, leaving, and reopening the drawing.  They are in the tree, and selectable, and even editable, but are not visible on the drawing or after exporting to PDF.  I was having similar issue for Images and ended up being a setting in config.sys.  Is there a similar one for Objects? Thanks 

I've encountered an issue in Creo. When placing components in an assembly, clicking "Placement" is supposed to show the placement box (as seen in the attached picture). However, even after clicking "Placement" multiple times, the placement box does not appear.Is this issue caused by Creo itself, or did I accidentally change some settings that disabled the placement box?Because at first, I thought the box might be displayed/appeared into another screen, but after I checked, there is no Placement Box at all. *Additionally, I noticed a similar problem in the Chamfer feature. The "Sets Box" does not appear either (refer to Picture 2).

HI, I’m having trouble generating NCL code for PostProcessor on the Mill turn machine. The machine is equipped with milling and turning heads as well as two spindles. I need advice on how to properly generate NCL code for both the upper and lower heads of the machine.If anyone has experience or tips, I’d greatly appreciate your help.

Community, Why is the number of frames selection greyed out for non-linear analysis?  When trying to animate, there is no control to slow down the animation, as the animation moves back-and-forth rapidly.  Thanks in advance.

By a clone part I mean a fully dependant copy of a part that can be used in separate assemblies but if the original part is modified, the clone part can be updated automatically, And if it is possible, can be assigned a different material to the clone?

Is there no way to have a master material, say, Al6061 applied to multiple parts?If I update the master material all the parts that were already made with this material do not get updated. So now to enforce the master material I need to manually select and re-assign the same material......Surely there's a way of making the Library a reference for said part(s)?

Creo 10 It seems like when I display hidden lines some of them appear as blue dashed lines when they should appear as gray dashed lines.  Why is this occuring?  How can I fix this?   I have already tried editing the line style to Hidden and still they appear as blue dashed but when printing follow Geometry line style.  I can change the hidden line pentable settings and they only effect the gray dashed lines.    Below is the drawing in Creo: Blue dashed line and gray dashed lines are both hidden items in the view. The gray hiddens lines appear correct when printing, but some of the hidden lines appear as blue dashed lines.  This is cuasing issues when printing.  The blue dashed lines follow the geometry pentable settings but as dashed lines.     Below is Print Preview - using pentable  - You can see the gray hidden lines appear correct and follow the pen table settings, while the blue dashed "

Dear all,  I'm using CREO 10 i would know if could be possible to repeat a part along a sweep feature keeping a specific orientation compared to the assembly, for example i would: -repeat the grey part along the sweep cut keeping the same reciprocal alignment-merge all the bodies obtained in a single one-subtract the body obtained from the white onethe result should be similar to this onebut the way that i obtained it, is not easy to use and to manipulate and the subtract command always fail.Maybe there is another way that i haven't considered how to do this.  Thanks  previously for the help

when applying a distance constraint, the dimension was given in mm and is not translated to drawing properly, it was entered as 1mm on the assembly, more like 20mm is actual constraint. have i the wrong template, i may have started with the wrong template

Hello ! I am using Creo 7.0.7.0 I am looking for a way to add a drawing table with specific dimensions for which we request inspection. I have manually made this table :I am looking for a way to automatically fill this table : the idea would be to refer the dimensions that need to be inspected somewere and that it fills the table and extract the minimum tolerance and maximum tolerance. Also it would be great if this table would update as the dimension or tolerances are updated.  Is there a way to do that with Creo maybe with a drawing table, parameters and a repeat region ? 

Hi I would like to understand if it is possible to program a .ttd file for Creo Distributed Batch, to import and convert pkg files I am using creo parametric 8 If it is not possible I ask to program a Mapkeys in Creo Distributed Batch, for that activity. If I use creo with normal operations I can convert the file but I need to program the conversion activity without engaging the program as for the steps. I am trying to reprogram a ttd file from another but it fails I am missing some information. I was looking for a guide. THIS IS THE TEST I DID .. I'm trying to get centerlines to print properly, either on paper or PDF.  My DRW is shown in 1st pic.  The centerlines are adjusted so that each hole has the small dashes in the center.  The 2nd pic is what the PDF output looks like -- small dashes are gone.  I found plot_linestyle_scale setting, which does exactly what I'm looking for, but for the DOTFONT line style (hidden lines).  Anybody know how to similarly adjust scaling factor for CTRLFONT line style?

Creo 7 Does anyone know how to edit the # of significant figures for a rotation direction dimension used in a table pattern? I created an axis pattern and then converted it to a table pattern to vary some dims including the clocking angle use to place pattern members. The ROT_DIR_1 dimension is a known dimension (angle) defined in the sketch of the pattern leader feature. Once this pattern is converted to table driven, I am not able to select that dimension to alter the number of decimal places.   I am able to use the find tool to locate this dimension but when selected no actions are available to edit/change it in any way.          

I have installed my CREO 8.0.4.0 student edition two months ago and now i get the Error message that the "license request failed for feature." Error code -9. Please find picture underneath.
