Customization

When creating a toolkit, you need a list of drawing files connected to the model.Is there a toolkit function that can implement such a function?Or I'd appreciate it if you could recommend a similar function.Thank you.  

When open the model from the "Working Directory" (File -> Open), unable to see/add the properties/parameter column in the UI.But for the "Manikin Library" we can see different properties/parameters columns in "File open" dialog box. Please find attached snapshot.

I received the below error message while adding an isometric view to a drawing in Creo 7. The drawing opens fine to the last save point, but crashes whenever any change is implemented and subsequently terminates the program. Has anyone experienced this issue and found a resolution in the past? The traceback log is attached.    

Hi,proMDlsave returns PRO_TK_general_error. and the model is not saving into workspace. But we can save it manually into the workspace and its worked. May I know why and what we can do to overcome this issue?   

Hello community, I want to use VBA (Excel) to copy a generic drawing (in the Windchill workspace) and replace the model in that copy with a family instance. Basically the way you would do it manually: Generic Drw "save as", enter new name, call up copy, then "replace model", select family instance. But how can this be realized with VBA, if possible without mapkeys? If I do it with Mapkey, then I have to enter the file names manually too often! Does anyone know why creo hangs when I'm using  full asynchronous mode example (Creo Object Toolkit C++)? I choose to start creo with graphic-display in full asynchronous mode.I have tried different solution like check the PRO_COMM_MSG_EXE Path.But I'm not sure if the PRO_DIRECTORY is in Common_Files location.Hope somebody help me with this dilemma.Thank you very much!

 Hi Community, I'm a very beginner of Pro/Toolkit and try to make a program that creates a new 3D part in Creo 4.0.I have a file that indicate crosssectional plane shape points and the program should read the file, make sketch from the points, and create solid by rotating/exluding the sketch. I'd like to make it in asynchronous mode, so it will contain functions below: 1) Read file and extract shape points2) Start/Connect Creo3) Open new PART4) Select a datum plane(like "FRONT" plane)5) Draw sketch on the plane form shape points6) Select datum plane/axis as reference7) Exlude/rotate to make solid I tried ProSolidMdlnameCreate() method for function 3) but noting shown in my display even the program returns no error.Could you show me how to open a new PART file with default template? Thanks!

 Hi community, I'm a begginer of Creo Toolkit and trying to run a sample application.The sample "pt_async" successfully built its exe file but I had an error "ucore46.dll was not found" when I ran it.As shown in previous topics, I added a path <creo common files>/<machine name>/lib to both environment and system environment PATH.However, I still have the error.Could you show me any idea to solve it? Shold I set some exrta configurations? Thanks!

The program I have written works for a single model but fails for more than one. Hi People,   I am working on the creation of dimensions for the Views in the drawing. For that we tried to collect the edges of the solid. Will these edges help me create a dimensions for the view?   Is my approach correct? Using the api how do I get to the model parameters instead of the drawing parameters? I'm able to get to the drawing parameters but not the parameters from the drawing active model. Any advice?
