Hello,   I installed manufacturing apps trial and import simulation data succesfully and I did 2 guides about manufacturing apps, Controls and Asset advisor but now I have a problem because Kepware is connected with Thingworx but I can't see data simulation in my assets. I checked log and I saw this error:   An Invalid Property Value Was Sent To [PTC.MfgSegment.Kepware_Simulator-GW Property: [StoredUpdateCount]     Do you know how to solve this issue?   Thank  you in advance   Luis    

Hi All,   I would like to ask about Collection (or repeater) widget. I want to do a checklist with questions and answers. I created a database what contains the questions,at the moment I have 11.  After that I created a mashup what displays all of questions. The mashup contains 2 labels and 1 radio button . I want to display all questions ,radio buttons, and I want to store the answers according to question numbers.   I tried to display all questions, but it display only the first row How can I solve this problem, and how can I collect the answers? Can this be done with a repeater or collection widget? I tried it with grid, but I read on forum, I can not embed widgets within the cells.   Thank you in advance.

Hi,   I am building an application up on manufacturing app by adding extra tails and have also done some configuring changes. Now i want to transfer this development on another instance, how do i export the complete Application? - I tried export option in Manufacturing and imported in another instance, didn't work.  - I wanted to export the Manufacturing App project from the composer, but was suggested that it won't work.   - Instead i was told to export tag wise in the composer to cover all the entities of my project.        1)  I maintained same tag name to all my extra development, which can be exported.        2) And for Manufacturing App ,there is a common tag name using which i can export.                       I am not able to determine this common tag, there are tags with various vocabulary  names.    How do i export my project (with M

We have two instances of Kepware, one Kepware is connected to DST machines, the other one is more of a central server which gets machine data in OPC UA from third party apps and feeds data to Apps for analysis. both the Kepware instances can be connected via OPC UA connection. But is there any PTC recommended way to do this?

Hi,  I have to run a task for every one minute from 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m Monday to saturday. How to do this? 

We are creating a IoT deployment based on the MQTT protocol, which will be the only source of incoming data.Is there a sample deployment architecture for Thingworx protocol adapter toolkit (PAT) with MQTT channel and MQTT broker which is scalable? The target number of devices to be supported on the Thingworx platform is ~25k.

Hey hey Community, I have following scenario. I have Thingworx Foundation 8.5 (Trial), Imported MQTT Extension and have already created a, new thing called "VerneMQconnect", as MQTT Connect,new thing called "VerneMQsubscribe", as MQTT Subscriber But the Problem is that the VerneMQconnect always show "Disconnected" and "isConnected" never turn "True" it's always "False".  There is no firewall issue or somthing like that. I have tested the MQTT Broker in different ways ant it always worked without problems. Except in Thingworx, here it doesn't even manage to connect to the Broker. The Error Log schows:

I have Thingworx 8.4 installed on a Windows server machine and it looks works fine. But I noticed some services stopped. I have attached the screen shot with these services. Can anyone help explain if this is acceptable?

Hi,   My question is about Manufacturing Apps and the possibilities to be configured to monitor lines, machines, KPIs, etc. of multiple factories with differente group of users.   In our case, the intent is to use Manufacturing Apps to monitor different lines, machines, and KPIs from different factories. Each factory is going to have its own users, and once the users are logged, they only should see the lines, machines and KPIs that are configured for their factory, so they shouldn't have access information from other factories. Each factory should have its look & feel (logos, colours, etc.) which is going to be different for each factory.   Can we do it using Manufacturing Apps?   Thanks.   Olatz

I have a property whose values are coming from kepserver(datas are simulated with sine function). I want to log those data for every one second. How to do this?   I have checked in the logged check box in properties, and in advanced settings, i have given Always as a data change type. Bu,t when i execute the "query named property history" service for last one minute it is taking 5 minutes delay to give the result and it is showing the values logged in milliseconds instead of seconds.

Hi, I want to create a things which properties should get change in some interval of time e.g. 30second with random number. So pls can you suggest how to do this.   I have created thing template and things but unable to link and configure timer.   So pls can you suggest how to do this, mainly i am facing issue to configure timer thing which will run in 30sec and change properties value.   Regards, Prashant Pandarkar

I have been using Thingworx foundation 8.4 installed on a Windows server machine. I just found there are no environment variables like JAVA_HOME and JRE_HOME defined on this server. It looks Thingworx works fine.  I also found a JavaHome key likely defined for Thingworx in the registry item "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Apache Software Foundation\Prorun 2.0\thingworxServer\Parameters\Jave\". Can anyone help explain if the JAVE_HOME environment variable is a must-have?

Hi, I tried to import the URL to webframe widget. The problem is I cannot load the page. (It shows the website refused to connect.) My website is host on pythonanywhere. I know the thingwrox webframe can only support https, so I configured https and https certicicate.   Does anyone know how to solve the issue like this?Thank you!Matt

hi,  I  create a mashup for adjusting threshold of alerts and I create also a mashup using progress gauge, but my problem is : when I change the thresholds, I can't change the color of the state definition that is connected to it.   thank you in advance.    Anass

Hello,   I want to personalize the "GetIdentityInfo" service in PTC.SCA.SCO.AssetMonitor.AssetList.AssetListServiceController to show different properties for the assets in the asset list. I can override the default service and write my code, but I would like to have the code for the default service so that I can personalize it instead of writing the code from scratch. Is there any way to get the default code for the services??   Thanks in advance.

Hi,I am facing an issue, when i imports my project file to 8.5 version of twx. Its showing deprecated widgets . Is it possible to migrate complete application from 8.3 to 8.5 or i need to remove manually old widgets añd add new one ?Thank you
