Hi,  I am using the extension CSV Parser. But when I am trying to read the excel file, I was able to, but it wasn't showing anything in the table after running the service. Attaching the result and code with the name Empty Results.jpg and Code.jpg.   Thanks & regards, Aditya

Hi, I have a Main mashup where I used collections  and I'm calling another mashup(Popup) in the child mashup. i.e., On clicking any cell of the collection it should navigate to the Third mashup.   I need to pass the selected value of second mashup to the third mashup at the time of double click, but services are there in Main mashup.   I tried using Session parameters but no luck ... I couldn't achieve this. Can anyone help me  to pass data from child mashup of a pop mashup from main mashup.....

Hi,   I have a mashup which was working fine till yesterday. Today morning when open that to view it has given blank screen. I have assigned that to a navigation widget as model popup, even with this it's giving blank screen.  design time there is no issue it seems everything is good.Can anyone suggest me what can be done to work the screen/Mashup as normal.

    I am following the example in the "Application Development Tips & Tricks" guide(https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/application-development-tools-tips-tricks), but the result data does not come out normally. What's wrong?   My guess is "ThingTemplates [" LinePartTemplate "]. Hi,  I got error "Thingworx message size too large: 51512" when invoke the SystemRepository.CreateTextFile in JAVA SDK as following:  client.invokeService(ThingworxEntityTypes.Things, "SystemRepository", "CreateTextFile", path, 15000); I found the ticket : https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS226655 was reported , what's the progress now ?  and what's the size limit in JAVA SDK for now ?    Regards, Sean

Hello, I am trying to develop the custom widget. I already installed Eclipse eclipse-jee-2019-06-R-win32-x86_64. In my Eclipse project, I don't have this option "Run as -> Gradle (STS) Build". For that, I am trying to install below Gradle plugin from Eclipse Market place.  I am getting error while installing the Gradle . Hi Everyone,    I simply wanted to know what should be the hardware requirement for accessing thingworx  8.4  on client machine.   e.g We have a server where thingworx 8.4 is installed now we want to access that on client side (Runtime) so what should be actual hardware as well as software requirement, so that there should not be have any performance related issue ?      Thanks in advance.   

I could see that it is possible to sequence and link work definitions to provide hierarchy of a complete work flow in Operator Advisor guide doc, but I am not sure how this can be done.    Can someone advise me on the steps to link work definitions and how this can be done from the back end services.

Hello everyone,   in our current scenario, we have a Thing (with regular sensor data and so on) that we would like to attach files to (mostly .pdf and .png/jpeg).The idea is to make these files "available" to the user, just as the sensor data. These files may change over time.   In the optimal case, we have a folder laying somewhere in the network (probably one server that will contain folders for some things) and this folder is "synchronized" with the files attached to the thing.Now my questions are: 1) Is it possible to somehow synchronize a folder on a machine other than the thingworx server with the files associated with a thing? 2) Can Files be attached to a thing in the first place? Files can't be properties as far as I see, so there must be another way.   In later steps we would like to make these files of a thing available via a mashup (and most importantly through an AR-Experience)   Any hints on which Thingworx Components to use and which Tutorials to look

Hi, I am using Creo 4 M050 and Creo Product Insight for ThingWorx Extension 8.2.3. Currently facing an issue that I am not able to connect to ThingWorx server to retrieve sensor data from the server. When I click connect to server it shows error "Connection to ThingWorx server cannot be established"  We are using . Followed all the steps and configured the config.pro file, but then too facing issues while connecting to ThingWorx server. Also find attached the config.properties file where we are giving details like ThingWorx server, Administrator key etc.   Please help me with the solution.   Thanks and regards, Aditya

Hi, I want to disable drop down list on mashup loaded and when the user clicks a button it must be enabled so that the user can select the data. Is there any way to do this by using a service? And can we call mashup widgets into services or can we invoke mashup widgets from services?

Hi all,   I'm Ilona from Hungary and i'm working with ThingWorx for 1 year.  I have a big problem with TWX. The cenrtal IT has upgraded the system to 8.4.4 version, and from it the included database went wrong. The upgrade was at 2019.08.27.   I tried to explain the error: The Datashape is (attached). In the DataTable is an important field, named "TableIndex" is a #NUMBER field. I have 145 rows.  When i run QeryDataTableEntries service I get the all 145 line.  ---> OK When i run QeryDataTableEntries service with a condition: ID=145, I get this line. ---> OK When i run QeryDataTableEntries service with a condition: DatumBe=2019.09.09. --> I get 4 lines -->OK BUT When i run QeryDataTableEntries service with a condition: TableIndex=4, I get just the older lines, before the upgrade, and the new lines not.    What could be this problem? What is different between version 8.2.2 and 8.4.4?? Maybe the caracter coding? Can I set

Hi, My customer has 100,000 production files generated per day, they want to store in ThingWorx and view the File by searching the file path . The files should be remained for 6 months at least , so about 20 millions records . I'm going to use FileRepository to store these files , but can it afford the files ? It seems there is no database table for FileRepository and it only rely on the OS file system to search , right ? Regards, Sean

Following this guide, on 8.4.0 I am running into this issue.  I have to log into composer and then navigate to the runtime. Login fails in the Runtime/WelcomeForm.  This is fine to play with the trial edition, but for production I need to direct people to the Welcome screen to log in.  Is this just a trial edition bug?
