Mathcad

Hello, I have some difficulties to plot on a XY axes system, the efficiency of a voltage converter. I want to have on the x-ax the output current in Amps, and on the y-ax the result in % for a specific switching frequency value.The error that I got is related to the fact that the variable from the x-ax is undefined.Could you help me please to understand what is wrong? Thank you!  

 Hi, I am calculating mean wind speed at variable heights (ze) as as shown in above function.Now I want to create a table with variable heights say 10m, 15m. 20m and tabulate the corresponding wind velocity, so that i can reference it any where in the calculation and I also want to know how to extract exact data from table with the variable say like lookup functions in the excel.  

The only way I see to do it is to clear each variable individually ..... clear (x,y,z,....)  That can be a lot of typing in a large sheet and you might miss one.  I've had a few situations where I'd like to just clear everything and have a section of my worksheet act individually without any worry of using prior values but without having to relabel everything.    The documentation doesn't point to any solution, but I know there are occasionally undocumented techniques.Thanks,

As you see from the above snips the zmin is extracted from combo box of terrain category but is not recognized in the cr(ze) program.    

 Would be nice if Mathcad Prime included internal routine for the Schur and Jordan decompositions of a matrix.Has anyone developed a Mathcad Prime routine to return the Schur and Jordan decompositions of a matrix? Thanks for any help.

The percentage operator in the result is getting scaled to 1% after converting it to prime. Is there any way to avoid this ?

Hello, I would like to export a complete matrix from mathcad prime 8.0 to an existing Excel file and in a specified range of cells. While reading through some older posts on this topic, I got the feeling this shouldn't be too hard. I am, however, completely new to VBA. Hello everyone, I'm encountering a problem with the attached Mathcad Prime 8 where the custom function MaxRecords(M) isn't yielding the expected results when reading imported data from the attached RAW DATA.xlsx. The input matrix "MaxT3" passed to the MaxRecords(M) function, comprises five sets of results for each ID where there is a total of 289 IDs. I need to extract only the records with the maximum resultant force FR (column 10). The result from MaxRecords should have only 289 records, but it's currently delivering 1445 records (289x5). Could you please review and let me know where the issue lies?.  Also, the resultant matrix of maximum records should keep the same order as the matrix MainRunT3: I tested the MaxRecords function with a smaller data set and is working fine (see snapshots below of the smaller set raw data and the corresponding MathCAD results): Finally, please let me know an easy method to disconnect a large matrix from its formula.&

Hi ALL, How do you avoid unnecessary parentheses that Mathcad applied to each complete expression automatically? It seems to me that it is one of the first information to be learned but it escapes me at present. How do I? Thank much.

Hi!Assume the following simple equations, which I want first to define x=b+5 and later solve the second equation for b.How can I do that?  The same question when we add units as well. Here, I think I need a symbolic variable (a) defined first and then solve Z for a to find the a.Any help is much appreciated.     

My Worksheet Converter in M-C Prime 8.0 for some unknown reason got grayed out and I cannot access it.A note says "Worksheet converter is not installed. Run setup to add the installation."Can somebody tell me how to do it. I tried to search for it but I could find nothing about running setup and reinstalling the Converter.

I have imported excel data and made column vectors from data. When I try to multiply elements with an index beginning somewhere in the range I get this.Why do I get zero values and how might I eliminate this behavior?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there I am using Mathcad Prime 8.0 and Excel 365 32-bit. I have a Mathcad Prime 8.0 sheet (converted from Mathcad 15.0) that sends input e.g. NPS:=2.5 into an Excel component and extracts dependent output data. It appears that if I change the Mathcad parameter to e.g. NPS:=8, Mathcad updates the input inside Excel, but Excel does not auto-calculate. Excel apparently only auto-calculates if I force re-calculation through CTRL+F5 from Mathcad, or if I open the Excel component and force re-calculation (e.g. Calculate Now) I have Auto Calculation and multi-threading enabled in Mathcad, and Calculation Options set to Automatic in the Excel component. Has anyone seen this before and know how to enforce auto-calculation without using CTRL+F5? E.g. write a macro inside the Excel component that triggers auto-calculation? However, it looks like a bug. Thanks.
