Mathcad

Can someone recognize these types of charts and which software they were done from? Are these from Mathcad Prime or Matlab or any other software you may know of? Can these be done in Mathcad Prime 3 aswell?      

I am thinking of upgrading my Alien 17 R4 laptop  (intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7820Hk CPU  2.9GHz, 32GB RAM ). I would appreciate any thoughts, guidance or recent experience on selecting a  laptop/desktop PC  suitable for running parallel instances of Prime - where each instance is running a large numerically intensive programme.  Many thanks  GeoffD

Hi, guys!!! I'm very appreciate you for your product, it's genious, really. I've tried a lot of programs (such as WolframAlpha, Maxima, MathLab and etc.), but when I tried MathCad, I understood - i fell in love with it.But there are two really major flaws:1. I can't debug the program I wrote and it makes it difficult to find errors, I have to spend a lot more time looking for them. You have primitive programming language (in terms of implementation complexity), so I guess it shouldn't be hard to implement.2. I use your program with my laptop, and when I use draft page, it becomes very difficult, to navigate in horizontal directions, so I'm forced to drag the slider, which is not so fast and comfortable. So that's my second request - basically improve touchpad navigation, in every sense)Good luck with development and thanks again for your product!!!

Dumb question, but what is the process for upgrading from V8 to v9?If i just run the exe will it do its thing automatically, or do i have to remove v8 first?thank you.

Hi, I have a single user license of Mathcad 7. When I purchased it from the PTC website.This website connected me with Digital River. The order details mentioned I should receive a fulfillment confirmation document. Never received any. Also didn't receive a customber number. Now I have a new PC and cannot get a new license file from PTC because missing documents.Anyone recognize this problem ?

I have inputs which needs to be used for further calculation For ex POP1_2.1 will be used to calculate CO1_2.1 and CO1_2.1 will be used for calculating POP next series and so on. I need some help to formulate programme to carry out this on loop and give the output could someone help?  

I bought a perpetual student license for Mathcad Prime 5.0 but I am having trouble activating it on a new machine.It seems that all old Prime versions got a free upgrade to 7.0 and I downloaded it but cannot activate my license (get a license file).I have an old license file that doesn't work because of the host id but when I try to get a new file here https://support.ptc.com/support/mathcad_supportCenterSingleUser.htmI get this message: "The trial program you are requesting is no longer available. Hello, I am trying to do a "list" of numbers in Mathcad, like that :(4.6, 5.6, 8.8). It is for programming purpose as I want to do an "If" condition if my variable is equal to one of those values. What I really want to do is get α_v in function of the grade of the bolt and if the shear stress passes through the threaded portion of the bolt (see pic).

HiI want to calculate the deflection along a column (or a stand-up beam) subjected to a lateral point load. The column is fixed at both ends, A and B, and the load P is acting at a distance a from the top. I know that I can easily calculate the deflection at the point of action (P), however I don't know how to determine the deflection at an arbitrary position away from P, lets say L/2. If somebody can bring some knowledge to this, I'll be very thankful 🙂

HiMy prime license expired and now I can't convert files from Mathcad 15 to Mathcad 8.0 prime anymore. My PTC Mathcad Express doesn't deliver me this option anymore. Can someone convert one file from XMCD to MCDX, I would be really grateful. I will send this file on Your email or attache file here.   

I want to set up prime to read a specific Excel column based on the header of that column? (for example, read the column if the header is name is “Threads”) and see whether the result is less than a specific value or not, add a note, and change its color respectively, would it be possible to atomize that in Mathcad?    

I've got a symbolic equation using the gamma symbol.  It seems that after performing a symbolic solve gamma is now one of the built in predefined constants - in this case Euler-Mascheroni's constant,    Is there a way to override this?    The gamma symbol is commonly defined in many other ways.
