When attempting to run the installer, the error "Unable to launch installer. Please check your network connection". I have an assignment due in school using this software so this is urgent. Thank you.

I'm checking a students results and for some reason his result has vector of "[1 x 1]" instead of showing the element values of this simple 3 element vector.  I disabled the students and entered the equation myself (in red) and it shows correct results (except they are still inside square brackets for some reason.    Whats the deal?  

Hi , Kindly suggest where to find the Edit script( script editor ) option in Mathcad prime 8; which was earlier available in insert menu under control tab in Mathcad 15Have attached images for reference below1.2.3.

Hi Folks, This is probably an easy one.  Is there any way to suppress the labels for solve blocks, or at least rotate them so they aren't such a mess?  The solve block works fine, but I don't want to use this in a presentation.  The examples in the documentation don't have the labels off to the left, so there must be some way to turn them off.Thanks 😉    

I'm building a matrix where the off-diagonals are equal (e.g. M(1,3) = M(3,1) etc.).   Is there a way to reference the M(1,3) to populate the M(3,1) element? That way I would just need to populate the diagonal and upper triangle and below the diagonal would be completed. thanks,russ

I installed the trial and only have basic features. Believe my 30 day trial was for the full featured Mathcad Prime 8.0. Otherwise, there is not way to trial all the functionality.

Hi Folks, I'm trying to do 3D plots in Prime 7 to show my students.  The contour plots appear correct on the screen, but the 3D plots (surface plots) don't.  They look OK when I save to PDF, though.  Any idea what I'm doing wrong?  PDF and screen shot are attached. Also, only the quick plot function seems to do 3D plots.  Am I missing something?  3D plotting in V15 worked at least as well as this. Mark

Good day,I am working as an IT Support for an international company that has a license for PTC.We have received a request from one of the Italy based users asking for installation of the software Mathcad.Checking "older tickets" regarding this matter I see that there were already few installations done in the past, the license is provided, however, we lack on information, setup files regarding the software.I have already contacted software distribution Team in our company however, since the last registered installation was about 3 years ago no one seems to be able to find any installation file / license/ application owner contact, no info whatsoever regarding the software.Can you please assist?Waiting for some direct contact from PTC Support engineers.Thank you,Kind regards,Edyta

Need the MathCAD 15 license connected.  

When the load is not very heavy - everything seems to be OK - see the first file. When the load is heavy, the center of gravity of the right section of the rope is in that place. Why? Send me please pictures with errors - not only Mathcad sheets!

MathCad gives an error when I try to write an expression on it.The error: An Unhandled exception occurred on the dispatcher thread. See ....log.How can I solve this problem.

Please make the license available.   Please respond to this.

I keep receiving the error "an unhandled exception occurred on the dispatcher thread". I have tried different methods presented in the community solution section. However, none did work.

Hi I am trying to solve system of 2 ODE as shown below. I am unable to find out the issue. The error happens when I m trying to relate the first ode to the second one. I am getting error as "Unknown error: ode% _function% _illegal % _context. Please help!

Hi,In the attached I show a simple example of referencing a matrix element with two approaches.  When I use ORIGIN:=1 the second method fails.  Is this due to my incorrect use of the second method? The 1st method uses the matrix index from Vector/Matrix Operators menu.  The 2nd method is just A(row,col). thanks,russ

Hi experts, I have some questions about the math calculation problems (case 1 and case 2), please see below description and the Mathcad file. For case 1: I have fire different resistance needs to be calculated. so I try to use two ways to calculate it.the first one is like that, I calculate every resistance separately and add them up to get the total resistance.but I think this is not a good way when I have a lot of resistance.The other way, I try to use the matrix way to do it. it is more convenient but I don't know how to calculate the total value by using a matrix.For case 2: I want to change the Width from 0.1mm to 0.91mm and also have 5 resistance.but when I try to define the Width from 0.1mm to 0.91mm. my calculation can't work.For example, if width = 0.1mm, I want to calculate the total resistance based on width = 0.1mmif width = 0.2mm, I want to calculate the total resistance based on width = 0.2mmif width = 0.3mm, I want to calculate the total res

What's going on?  I can't create a support ticket.  Has that feature been removed from PTC?   If not then provide a link.   I can't seem to navigate to an area to create a support ticket.   Whatever.

I created a case for this last year - but it seems that PTC has deleted all of the old cases (why?) - so now I'm back to zero again.    As always, I've paid for a license and would like to use MathCAD 15 - but, lack needed information for installation.
