Mathcad

I have to revisit some "old" mcad 15 as I lost some of them. I am setting up a Convolution calculation for a given input (half sine) to extract the max response for a given range of frequencies. However what I am getting out does not appear to be correct.  Can anyone wit the expertise have a look and point me toward what is wrong?

There are operators with two mathematical meanings. One (|D|) is here Absolute values   The second is Do you know more? I know seven one!

Hi!   I have created a workset that requires a vairable to be raised to the power of 1/3 (one third). The variable already has the unit MPa, but the unit of the result is a bit messy as seen below. Can i change that back to MPa by any chance? Screenshot below.   I am using Mathcad 15.0 (M050 [MC15_M050_20171129])   Thanks in advance.    

Hi everyone. I am doing a simple calculation, but I have problems in the temperature units, which generates erroneous results.     A quick solution in this case would be to work the temperature without units. However, is there a way to work with units in this type of equations without getting wrong results? Thanks for the help

Hello,   I am using Mathcad 2001. I have a file that I need to use but it is in xmcd format and I could not open it. Is there a way to transform into mcd format or something suitable for Mathcad 2001   Could you please advise me how to transform?   Kind Regards

I have seen in some code examples, that people use .pwf as model file saving format. But in PyTorch documentation .pt and .pth are recommended.   I used .pwf and worked fine for a small 1->16->16 convolutional network.   My question is what is the difference between these formats?   Why is .pwf extension not even recommended in PyTorch documentation and why do people still use it?

I am trying to complete an assignment however I have difficulties translating a Mathcad code from the book to the worksheet, I have never used Mathcad before so it would be great if someone can show where I am going wrong or even better if someone can translate it onto a Mathcad file for me! I can't remember hence the silly question. If one has a continuous function (in my case of time) and one wants to only return the max (absolute) value of the function (range 0..tend), does one needs to discretize the function? a example y(t):t^2  wit t = 0..5 max(y(t)) does not return 25

Hello to All Prime Expert   I am having another MatchCAD Prime issues. Plotting simple equation in MatchCAD 15 worked. After transfer to Prime the graph - Plotting failed. Replace complex values and NaN by real numbers.   I can't see any issues here.    Please help.

Noticing in Prime Express that evaluating a function name yields a string, ...    I was wondering if anybody knows of a way to save that string to a variable?     (This is something that I asked for since about Mathcad 11 - it would have been quite handy to have when, say, evaluating a list of functions or identifying a function that's stored as an array element)

Every time i want so save my file this error message appears? Do you know how to fix it?

Hello,   I found a wired behaviour using units in calculations. The result is slightly different if units are used in formula or not. See attached file. Both results must be identical, but they are not. I can even do the calculation in my head and the one with unit is false.   Cheers DPJB

Hello,   I am new to MathCad. I plotted the freefall equation and solved for x and z. Then I would like to plot the velocity, so x' and z' but get the error: "replace with complex values and NaNs by real numbers". It shouldn't have complex values and NaNs, I have checked the odesolve syntax, the time step and the units, but still can't find the mistake. Would appreciate help! The file is attached. Hi everyone, i would really appreciate if u could help me with this problem i have: I'm trying to write the units in the output for an excel component, the thing is that when I do that, it doesn't show when i write the variable. I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong. I watched a video where someone did the same and the units where there. I'm not able to do it anyway.

After conversion to Prime 6.0, my simple program equation is not working but it is still calculate in MathCAD 15. Dont see any problem with the equations.   Please help   David

Is there a way to display only the output of an equation? For example, if I define: ...... Is there a way to only display the 93.6% later in the document? Without having the variable, Mcw_C6_V, displayed? I would like to summarize my calculations at the bottom of the document but allow them to change automatically if I change calculations earlier on in the document.  

Upgraded computer to Windows 10 and now cannot get Mathcad 15 to install with my product code.  Your website for license management wants a Host ID and I have no idea what that is.  Why does PTC make life so difficult.   Can you refund my money since i cannot install Mathcad 15 student edition on my computer now that it is upgraded to Windows 10.
