Is there any way to generate the voltage and current equations from spice netlist using Mathcad prime 5.0??

Hello,   I have been trying to solve this equation however no matter what I tried, I couldn't come up with an answer. All the functions appearing in the differential equation is defined but at the end, it can not solve. What is the problem? I also included the file I am trying to solve.

Hello since im trying to find the unknown with 6 different initial values and 6 non-linear equations I try to use find but I cant obtain the value but there is one variables in the equation got counter.Hope u guys can check for me.

I wanted to create the Y BUS matrix from Netlist and solve that to get currents and voltages of each node.   For this i need to know how to solve the AX=B in matrix format, if all matrices(A,X and B) having variables only, I want X in terms of Varibales(eqn)   Please check the 29th page of this pdf: http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/pls/portallive/docs/1/7292571.PDF

How to insert values previously obtained into a table (as shown in the last of the attached file) without manually typing them. and trace the graph pV.    

Is there an option in Mathcad where I can solve more equations that depend on each other?There will always only be one value that is unknown. Hope you can help me 🙂

Hi all,I want to get some knowledge about MathCAD Prime and for better understanding I made some simple calculations.I have done a simple example to get familiar with MathCAD solving functions.I want to calculate the charging time of a capacitor for two different voltage thresholds. have attached a pdf file of my MathCAD sheet.What I have done in MathCAD delivers the right results but the intermediate steps are wrong.Can someone explain me what I have done wrong?Thank you for your help!

I have a set of data that I am importing from excel.     I am reading data from the file. It is in the format. "[79.34029,63.57957]" (There is a column of data)   I want to convert this to 79.34029,63 at an angle of 63.57957 degrees.   I tried reading it and used str2num but it did not "like" my approach.   Thanks for your help.  

Hey Guys,   So, i'm trying to do For loop in my file to define a concentration changes in respect to x. The approach used :  I have to first solve the CO2lSS with ode solver and resulted in CO2lSS(x). And from there i substitute into the equation of CO2gSS(x) equation, where inside the equation there the CO2gin and CO2lin which i want to do iteration.   CO2lin (n) has to equal to the CO2lout (n-1) and CO2gin (n) has to equal to CO2gout (n-1). Where n is the number of cycle, and each cycle is 250 m. So i want to make a loop where everytime the concentration reach x=250 m, that value will be used for another concentration in value.   I tried but it still gives error. Hope you guys can help. I would really appreciate it.   Thank you. 

I am writing a paper using as math editor Mathcad, but when I write an equation that is missing a value or a previous definition, I have a comment, for example: A name is required here" and the mistake in the equation will be in red.  Being in red affect the possibility to copy and paste the equation in a word document. is there a way that I can avoid the red color when a mistake is happening in an equation? I want that the equation look with all the letters and symbols in black.   Regards,   Rogelio

Hey guys I want to ask,   When I have two derivation dCOl/dx and dCOg/dx, there are two ways to use ODE solver : First by solving it in 1 term (so its coupled) or second by solving one of each first.   I tried it and it gives a different result, now i'm wondering what is actually the difference when I do derivation coupled and uncoupled.   Thanks

Does anyone else have the problem where the print quality of the chart components is abysmal?   When I print my Mathcad worksheets to .pdf the text and maths comes out great but the charts look a jpeg that has been saved 1000 times on Windows XP.

Hello,,, I  have the version 3.0 Prime (paid for this version while a study at the university). I got some interesting sheets that were apparently made in prime 5.0 version, so I can't open them in my version. I know is impossible to change it, because my version is older wich is ok, I just want to see the content as PDF and then I can rewrite it all. to allI am playing around with what is known as 'Frequency Response Assurance Criteria' (FRAC). I have attached an example  with some refI understand that the Freq. Response Function (FRF), noted H(w) is a complex function containing magnitude and phase informationIf one has got magnitude and phase info (at each frequency) (from a physical test) does one need to create a complex equivalent of the data to apply the criteria (A*exp(iw+phase)) ?In the case of the analytical data (FRF) I am not sure I can get the phase (but will need to check) as it is from a random analysisI found an example of a FRAC equation involving sum, see attached, assuming it is correct (not sure it is!), how does one "code" the sum? I did it but it look wrong. I interpreted the equation as calculating a FRAC value in a range w1 to w2. I f guess if one plots it one can see the "evolution" of the FRACThe example attached contains dummy vectors. I'll need to see if I can put my hand on "real" dataThanksRegards

I downloaded this application on to my computer ~1 year ago and used it fairly frequently.  I have just had a hard drive failure and have been trying to re-load everything, including this.  I go on to the website, fill out all the required information and submit.  It says I will get an e-mail with a link to allow me to download the application, but nothing comes.  I have tried the chat line and sending an e-mail to the address given - but nothing happens. Does anyone know what is going on?

I must be stupid.  I can't figure out how to add axis labels to an X-Y plot in Prime 5.  I found a new features post from a little while back that mentions the capability, but no hint of how to turn them on.  Nothing obvious in the software help either.  Can some kind soul steer me in the right direction?
