convert it to mathcad prime 3.1

Hello,I need to solve a system of partial differential equations. The system is of the form A*f(x,y)+B*f,x(x,y)+C*f,y(x,y)+D*f,xx(x,y)+E*f,yy(x,y)+F*f,xy(x,y)=0, where A, B, C... are coefficient matrices and f(x,y) is a vector of unknown functions that need to be solved f(x,y)^T= (f1(x,y) f2(x,y)...). It seems that such system of equations could be solved in Mathcad 15 by using either "relax" or "multigrid" functions. However, those algorithms can solve problems only in a square domain. In my case I need to be able to control the x and y span. I know that the so called differential quadrature method could deal with this problem but I am not sure how to implement this algorithm in Mathcad 15. Has anyone solved such a system of PDEs in a non square domain in the past and is willing to share the solution?Best regardsRafalP.S. I'm just starting to play with Mathcad and I'm curious if there is any built-in intellisense or some type of input assistance that would help the user input previously defined variables.  For example: if I create a variable LtRailHt:=1, later on in the worksheet I would like to just start typing ltr... and see a dynamic assistance list as I type that helps me find those variables (regardless of the upper/lower case) - then TAB to insert it.Currently, if I don't remember the variable I want to use - exactly as typed - I will have to go back and find it.  On a large worksheet with numerous variables being defined, this is a big drawback (in my opinion).  It seems most other programming interfaces I use nowadays have some sort of assistance while you type.  Hopefully, I just need to enable something in Mathcad to make it show.Thanks for any help.

I am interested in using Mathcad Gateway and have some questions. Mathcad Gateway runs on the internet and you are just accessing the files through the page, but do not modify the file itself. The file stays on the server. If I have a calculation sheet with a lots of input how can I save it? Can I save it?If some time later I need to change one number and run it again do I have to type in all the input values meaning that I start from sketch?Is there any way to have a saved copy of the input on my computer?

Hi,Please see attached Mathcad Prime 3.1 worksheet and advise if I am setting up the definitions and equation up properly.  The correct answer should be around 307, but I'm pretty sure I need to set up the equation a different way.Should I be setting the equation equal to Ts?Thank you

I'm trying to simplify 5 equations by substituting until I have one equation and just a few inputs.  The symbolic result is extremely complex and could easily be simplified but no matter what I try, I can't get it to simplify or collect on terms.  Further, when I later use the derived equation, the numerical value is incorrect.  It is challenging to find where the error is occurring.Suggestions?thanks

Dear readers,I'm having a problem with MathCAD 15 to calculate forces. I need 15 variabels (Fay Fax Faz, Fby Fbx Fbz, Fcy Fcx Fcz, Fdy Fdx Fdz, Fmmpy Fmmpx Fmmpz) and had 21 formulas. I red somewhere that it had to be 15 formulaes for 15 variables.So i managed to get rid of 6 formulas.Still undefined when i try to use the "find" function.Hope someone can help.Regards,Jeroen

For ease of asking this question I have a formulas solution is bound by upper and lower values but can be anywhere inbetween the upper and lower values. How can I write that as programming statement. So far this is what I have :If I were to change "x" variable to  equal "1", the formulas solution (x/y) would equal "0.5", I would like the program to spit out that answer as well.Thanks for the help, hope to reciprocate sometime!

Unfortunately Mathcad 14 +15 won't start from the new SSD, which is used with Windows 10 64 bit. Prior they were running on HD with 32 Bit Windows.What to do?

I've been using Mathcad on and off for a year now and there is one thing I have been really interested to know. Hi,Sorry about the messed up previous post.I have a function with six parametters that generates a spectrum with 1024 points.When I supply a single value for all the six parameters, it generates a valid spectrum that I can plot and examine. one of the arguments is standoff distance, I want to get spectra at different standoff distances. Therefore, I supplied distance parameter as a range variable thinking that all calculations for one distance  will be repeated for other distance values. The function output has correct number of spectra, each with 1024 points. But the spectral values are all the same, Can someone help me understand what is going on? Hello All,Good Day!I have been working on a program to sort the the data. I've a big input data table with 'n' number of columns. I've my results in column 'n' and needs to print this column as output. But the problem is, this column has some duplicate values (same number is repeating more than once). So, before printing this column as output I want to remove all the duplicate values in that column and print only unique values. Could anyone please let me know if there is any option in Mathcad prime like in excel to remove the duplicate values. Since I didn't find any option, I tried to write a loop with my little programming knowledge and is not really working. Could someone please help me to resolve this.Thanks in advance!Regards,As
