To allQuestion is not yet related specifically to a Mathcad feature but has anyone ever heard of 'frequency band averaging (FBA) of an (output) PSD'? To all,Is there a mathcad command to return all the values within a given band/tolerance?ExampleAssume have a vector fv:=[10,11,12..20]I want to get a new vector containing all the values (from f) within a given band/tolerance of a given value filet 's pick a value within the given vector: fv=15tolerance = 1.5vector to be returned : fvband:=[14,15,16]with tolerance = 4vector to be returned : fvband:=[11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19]in other words. the new vector should include the values in range: fi-tolerance:fi+toleranceI can think of a way of iterating but to create 'fvband' but was wandering if there is something built-in!ThanksRegards

I'm using Mathcad 15 on a Windows 7 machine. Despite having read this articleTemperature UnitsI'm still very confused. In the attached file, the first line I would have expected the results to be 80C. However you can see I don't get that answer. I thought I was not understanding temperature units and that still may be the case. I have found, that to get the correct answer, that the equation has to be written and then edited to get the correct answer. So you can see that the two equations give two completely different answers. I was able to get the correct answer by typing 0C and evaluate the answer and then editing to -20C. Do I still not understand units (a question than really can't be answered) or is there some error going on here?

I have an end user that is trying to insert a radio button. He is using Matcad 15.0.  The user goes through the steps of adding the radio button and nothing happens.  I have looked at the following articles:Re: Insert > Control in MC15 Not WorkingI have tried all the suggestions in the article and still nothing.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

The installer, links and title say Mathcad Prime, but the "about" page says Mathcad Express, both version 3.1.I read that if you buy Mathcad Prime you can also use Mathcad 15. Does this apply to the version bundled with Creo Parametric 3? I'm guessing not.Cheers

Hello. My problem is to create vector plot of EM field distribution in time. I would like to make animation that shows vector`s changes over time. I can`t do this because MathCad scales vector plot by itself and there is no option to turn off autoscaling. Can anyone help me deal with or have some idea?

Hi, everyone,Right now I just want to find the non-trivial solution to the last equation above,I can find that using the solve block, but since solve block cannot be used in programming,I am afraid I have to find another way to solve a Matrix function with non trivial solution.In Matlab, [eigenval, eigenvecs] = eig (K, M) would return to EV as eigenvecs, using the equation M*EV*lambda = K*EV, and it is easier for programming, say K & M varies.So is there a way to solve non-trivial solution to a Matrix Function other than the solve block in Mathcad?Thank you for your help!BestShawn

Hi, I have a problem with units in mathcad15. When i use function view multiplication as thin space for unit and then save and reopen that document unit back to the previous form.After save and reopen units are in previous forms.

Mathcad Express is Mathcad Prime without some function.Intercept and slope functions are closed in Mathcad Express for example.But we can create its in Mathcad Prime and use in Mathcad Express - see the picture and attach.Can you create others closed function for Express?PS - last and rows function and a sum operator are open in Express? Hi, everyone,So I have come to the eigenvalues of matrix D, and now I want to find the eigenvector corresponding to eigenvalue 176.718.Is there a way to find the it?Using the eigenvecs cannot produce the right answer,As seen in this figure, EV has four linear independent eigenvectors, and the last column is the right one. But I presume this is only a coincidence, as eigenvecs in this case used det(D-lambda*I)=0, to recalculate all new lambdas of the new defined D. Is there a function like [lambda, Eigenvector]= eig(K,M) in Matlab, that returns to the eigenvectors corresponding to each eigenvalues?Thank you for your timeBestShawn

Does anyone have experience with Mathcad 15 installed on a Cyntrix environment?I know it is officially not yet supported by PTC, but that doesn't mean perse that it would not work.

I am working on problems where all the angles are in degrees and the trigonometric functions should read them as such. It is a lot of work to make sure that all the angles are converted to radians before the algebraic expressions involving them are evaluated. Is there any way that a statement or preference can be added so that mathcad correctly evaluates the trigonometric functions with the arguments in degrees?
