Hi all,do you know how to read the stiffness matrix?I've read of a method for understand whether the K matrix is ill-conditioned.It consist in the calculus of the condition number of K expressed as the ration between the max and min value of the eigenvalues of K.How can I do this? (also utilizing Mathcad)

Hello,I know that mathcad variable may drive Creo dimension.But I want an Attribute of Windchill to be stored in Mathcad.My goal is as follows: being TOP of the tree, takes in attribute data.Pass on information to either Creo or Mathcad. (assuming, Creo and mathcad can inter change data)And work through my data, overwrite as need be. And store Over written data every where. Hi,I want to plot the 2 equations in mathcad,The two equations are,2x^2+3y^2=59 (circle)4y=x+8 (straight line)these examples are used in Find command in mathcad.I attached my code below.

I'm using a Given ... Find solve block in a function.When I call the function with an argument, sometimes the result has a positive sign, sometimes negative.  Mathematically it is correct, but I can't figure out why it's giving sign changes, and I only want positive results.The seeded guess value is positive.  If I seed the guess value to high to try to sneak in to the solution from the high side, the function fails frequently.I tried adding an inequality inside the solve block (R_guess>0 in) to try to force a positive result.  The function fails all the time.Looking for suggestions to get only a positive result from the Given ... Find function.

In Mathcad 15 you can break an expression into two or more lines using Ctrl Enter. How do you do this in Prime 3.1?@

I have been using Mathcad ever since release 2.5 [tells you how old I am].  Two weeks ago my laptop crashed and I was not able to recover anything.  I wanted to transfer my full Prime 3.1 license to my new Surface Pro 3, as it is becoming a very popular engineering platform.  Support could not install it as the Surface does not have an Ethernet card.  Support was able to only install Mathcad Express.  Is anyone using the full version of Prime 3.1 on Surface Pro 3?  Thanks.

Dear Community,I'd like to evaluate a user-defined function for multiple input arguments using a vector. The problem is that my function contains the min-function and the user-defined function is evaluated only for the smallest argument. The following illustration shows my (simplified) function to calculate the force distribution in a concrete plate.Is it possible to adapt the function, so that a vector can be used as input argument, or do I have to use a range variable?Thank you for your efforts!

Is there a list of  Mathcad functions that lists parameters, return values, and the such?i.e. MAX(num1 as number, num2 as number) - returns maximum of num1 or num2; if not number throws error.I know Mathcad 15 has a nice table, but I cannot find one for Prime.

Hi, does anyone know of a way to collapse all areas in a document at the same time? I have a very large document with lots of areas in it. I have a need to open and then close them all depending what I’m working on and who I am showing it to. It takes a really long time to go through and click on all the + - signs. It would be great if there was an “collapse / expand all” shortcut or something…?

Hello Mathcad users,I have a problem and I need help. Suppose that I have two dependent functions u1(t) and Rm1(t) (see file attached, in yellow box). The relation between them is in a loop.I would like to plot both functions, but I don't know how to define these two functions at the same time: I tried with f(u1(t),Rm1(t)):=...,  but I cannot plot u1(t), Rm1(t).
