Mathcad

I had installed an educational version for trial on an old laptop, but it didn't run well because of the bad hardware features. Now I just bought a latest generation PC and I would like to try it, but I can't install it because of licensing problems.

Why does the third solve block not work?   (Mathcad Prime 9)    

I'm trying to plot a couple shear-moment diagrams, and have reactions in the middle of the beam causing the shear diagram below to jump discontinuously. How do I represent those jumps with vertical lines connecting them?

Hi thereI get some results from the balance moments Now I need to calculate the carry over moments by taking one-half of the balanced moment at a joint and transferring it to the far end of the member connected at that joint. The carry-over moment has the same sign as the balanced moment.It is it should look like this table I have to repeat these steps, first calculating the balance moment and then the carry over moment unitl I get zeros in all rows ... and then calculate the final moment by adding all the moments in each joint. Like this table :  Can you show me how to do that in the attached sheet ?Thanks Yusra

Hello,I tried doing all the tips written in these posts (1 , 2 , 3 ) but nothing seems to work for me. I am using Mathcad Prime 10. I tried converting the range into a vector and making the data unitless but I am getting an error. Looks like this problem has been asked a lot of times but there is no simplier way to do it

For some time now, I've been interested in ordinary differential equations of the following type: x*y´´ + y = 0 for the (incomplete) initial value y(0) = 1. These differential equations in the complex plane are discussed extensively in the literature (e.g., Schlömilch, Smirnov 3/2,...) – closed-form solutions exist only using well-known transcendental functions or in series form. Now, however, this linear equation must be considered in the real realm. Is there a way to construct solutions for a sequence of initial values ​​(eps;1) with eps-->0 and to create plots close to the initial value? The second initial value for y´(0) can be chosen "appropriately." My MC14 knowledge is insufficient for this.

How do I silently install and uninstall Mathcad prime 10?

i downloaded the free version of MathCAD. I wanted to open it and it says "extracting" but doesnt open.

im currently attending school at ECPI university, we use mathcad for some of our courses. i have it installed on my desktop at home, but also use it on my laptop when im traveling for work so i can still complete my homework. its not allowing me to access the program with our activation key and says i have the maximum number of license requests. im trying to figure out how to get this to work so i can complete my homework assignments. it wont even allow me to create a new account or anything else and activate it that way. i just need some help figuring this out.

I made an account and tried to set up everything and log in but i got an error message stating "You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type". Why am I unable to access my license?

Hi,I cannot take the partial derivatives of a function with 4 variables.Taking partial derivatives seems to be limited to just functions with two variables.Please help.Thank you very much.Alfred Leick

i am having a problem installing the 30-day free trail of matchad prime. i have the mathcad prime installtion assistant, but in the application selection i cannot choose an application.

Hi, I have a file made in prime 9 and when I tried to open today and I could not open. I have copied this file from an original file. I made a minor update on the copied file but I could not open while the original, I could. I attached the file herein for reference. Thank you. 

Hi,I try to do some calculations with values stored in a table.In general the calculation works fine until I have no division by zero in may calculation, then I got error message that calculation includes division by zero or only one value is displayed.In attachments you can see some examples (calculation of SFF).Thanks in advance for your help.

I've installed an old version, 14.0, on my Windows 11 computer. Installation went fine. The version came with a Mathcad book that I bought in 2007. When I try to start the program, I'm asked for license info that I don't have. I ran the program long ago and with out issue on previous computers I owned and I'd like to do so now. Can you please enable the program for me? Purchasing the book entitled me to run the software that came with it. I don't recall having a licensing issue on previous computers.

Ich habe vor 2 Tagen meine Lizenz über die Schule also den Code den wir Schüler jedes Jahr für 12 Monate bekommen angefordert und die Lizenz in Mathcad 9 eingelöst. Alles hat perfekt funktioniert und ich habe gleich nach dem einlösen wieder normal mit Mathcad arbeiten können. Heute wollte ich Mathcad wieder öffnen und auf einmal habe ich keine Lizenz mehr und kann nichts machen. Wenn ich probiere den Code von vorgestern wieder einzulösen steht natürlich das der Code schon verwendet wurde. Bräuchte dringend Hilfe.
