Mathcad

I've not been able to locate anywhere on how to remove a concurrent user from a floating license pool of licensing using the FLEXnet Admin. Also when I go to the Administrator section of the FLEXnet Admin tool it is asking for a administrator login, however I'm not sure what login information to use because it is not accepting my PTC login information or my server administrator login, so I'm not sure why this is not working. Please provide any insight or advice on this.

I downloaded windows on my mac. I then tried to buy the Mathcad Prime 10 Student Edition for $63/year. However, it just took me to Mathcad Express Free Download when I clicked on it. I finally downloaded it, and then I had to login and provide my product code. I don't have a product code because I never bought anything, but I clicked on the $63/year plan and it never charged me so I don't really know what to do or where to go from here.

Hello, New user to Prime 9, moving from V15. V15 had an option for regions to "push regions down as you type", does prime 9 have an equivalent?   

I'm attempting to moved my networked mathcad license to a new server. I've followed the support article  (https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS20911?oskarSession=4ed21d13-73b5-4882-8e39-d12bebb4a6bc&source=support_assistant) and to how to install the service manually (https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS62129?oskarSession=4ed21d13-73b5-4882-8e39-d12bebb4a6bc&source=support_assistant) and everything looks fine but when I go to start the license it won't start and when I attempt to re-read the license it fails. the Debug log isn't showing anything either.

hi @LucMeekes  I am passing array of equations into an ArrayAnd then want to get this function in the form of matrix like below wherein A is the Matrix, which I want to pass to reference calculation worksheet, which is called within main worksheet.It gives the error to check label.Can anyone help me to understand and solve this.I could do this in Mathcad 15 and now struggling in Prime. Regards,JK_9391805

I have two simple definite integrals and I want to find the angle (common to both integrals) where their results will be equal.  I've done it by guessing, and now want to solve it automatically - but I'm having trouble with Find.   

Im a heavy long-term user of mathcad. I regularly embed math regions within text regions in my calcs. Today, I now find whenever I try and copy a math region within a text region mathcad constantly crashes. It never did this before.  A few years ago there was an error PTC was aware that MS caused with an update where you could not copy and paste math regions form a text region into another text region. I wonder if there has been a recent update that has broken mathcad.  I find i can replicate the constant crashing when in a text region contain embedded math regions, if I refer to a math variable using a text and subscript within the text region, It will crash constantly when copying a math region in that text region above the text subscript. If I use my traditional approach pre-Prime 10 of using a math region to refer to the variable with subscript no issues. ( I typically see MathCAD crash once or twice a year, today its crashed thirty times.) See at

I am trying to achieve something like the below (the equal sign is text only). I'm not even sure if this is mathematically possible however, and may require some manipulation to achieve?Here is what it looks like when I try to do itAppreciate any possible help with this, it's been a long while since I studied matrices!I am on Prime 9.0 if that makes any difference.

Hello I have problem with opening mathcad files from the file explorer. Recently I changed to the newest version of mathcad prime 10 and then I started to have this problem. If  I open mathcad itself and then I open the file from there it works perfectly, but from the file explorer if I want to open the file, it says, that it couldnt find the aplication to open it and I need to select a new one which would open the file. The problem it that I dont find there Mathcad as the application which would open the file.  If anyone would have some recommendations how to solve this, I would be gratefull. Thank you

Guten TagWir Arbeiten bis anhin mit Mathcad 14, aktuell teste ich nun Mathcad Prim 10 bezüglich einem allfälligen Wechsel.Das Konvertieren unserer Arbeitsblätter hat sehr gut funktioniert. Jedoch habe ich nun das Problem das ich Berechnungen habe mit Divisionen durch Null (x/0) in Mathcad 14 konnte man unter Arbeitsblattoptionen angeben das 0/0=0 ist. gibt es diese Möglichkeit im Prime 10 auch? Für uns ist dies sehr wichtig da wir allgemeingültige Berechnungen haben bei dehnen lasten die in der zu Berechnenden Anwendung nicht vorkommen. Bis anhin haben wir diese dann mit dem Wert 0 angegeben. oder gibt es dafür im Prime eine alternative Möglichkeit?Freundliche grüsse und danke für ihre Rückmeldung.Tobias Rhyner

I am using Mathcad Prime 7.0 7.0.0.0I have just finished converting a Mathcad 15 worksheet to Prime. The worksheet is around 200 pages of simple calculations. The worksheet features 1 page where parameters are input.Matchad 15 calculated any changes to the input parameters almost instantly. Maybe 2-3 seconds max. Whereas the Prime sheet is incredibly slow. taking up to 32 minutes to finish calculating.there are no complex calculations to be conducted so it is worrying that the newer version of prime is under performing compared to the older version mathcad 15. Has anyone faced this issue and found any solutions?

Using Prime 10, I am trying to write CSV files containing coefficients of polynomials. The written values are limited to 10 characters. How do I increase the number of significant figures in the CSV files? This was easy in MathCAD v15 Thanks,

Hello, I am using Mathcad Prime 10.0.0.0.  On sheet 3 I am trying to call in column 2 (via data[i,2] in the first IF statement) which has a text name for the value.  If the value equates to something in my IF statements, I want my program to calculate the H_f or Friction Head.  I want the program to go down the array one at a time and at the end output the sum of all the individual friction heads added together, so I gave the array the indices of i,2 with i going from 0 (first value in the submatrix 'data') to p-1 (end of the rows in the main Matrix 'System').  I am not sure why I am receiving an error which states "This array index is invalid.  The index must be an integer, not less than origin, and not greater than the last element.".  Is there any chance you all may be able to assist?  Can a variable not be in the Array index?  If not, how do I go down my list?  Should I have individual vectors (single column arrays) for each co

I have used Mathcad Prime 10.0.1.0 for one month and I would like to purchase the full software for one year. I am a student at University of Wisconsin and would like to purchase the student version. When I select to buy and provide my info, I get a dialog that says to watch my email for a link. That email never comes. Can you help me purchase the student version? Thank you - Dave

I have converted the template from 15 to 10 and now i am trying to use the reference file but the there is error as attached. But i could not find any error in the reference file. In reference file i am reading the data from excel. But no errors here. 

Could you please assist me with integrating the attached function in Mathcad? It represents the probability density function (pdf) of the Gamma distribution. I know that the integral should evaluate to 1, but I am unsure how to perform the integration in Mathcad without specifying the values for alpha and beta. When I assign specific values to these parameters, the integral correctly evaluates to 1, but I would like to achieve this result symbolically.Your guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
