Mathcad

I am trying to calculate the rise-time of this system, but I am having trouble finding the 90% of steady state (ss).Does anyone have an idea how to calculate the rise time of the system?  

I am a user of (real) Mathcad for a long time and now shifted to Mathcad Prime 7.0 and have started learning it. I am facing a problem in using symbolic evaluation in solve blocks using Mathcad Prime. It was a bit easy in (real) Mathcad but now I don't know what's the problem and why prime is not showing the answer. The problem statement in (real) Mathcad is  But when I use the same steps to solve the problem in Mathcad Prime it is showing a question mark with no hint of where the problem occurs. Please guide me, what am I missing or it is some incapability of prime that (real) Mathcad has for years.

Hey, I liked to know how to shift the values at matrix by a certain value like this. I have script in MathCad and matrix with hundreds values, and I need it to work automaticly. Thanks for help.

I was trying to get free MathCAD for students via this form (https://www.mathcad.com/en/try-and-buy/mathcad-express-free-download), but I didn't get a letter with download link neither on my local e-mail (mail.ru) nor my gmail. Mathcad Prime 5 displays some really nice 2D plots but is it possible to do something like this? Sort of a hatch for the graph.

Hello,   I crashed MTC Prime 6 and the saved file is not able to be opened. The file is 1.3MB so I think the work should be in there. If someone could help restore the file, I'd greatly appreciate it.

My faithful MCAD14 no longer inserts functions. Insert|function does not open the function menu. Old MCAD files are also broken.

  I am moving some calculations from Octave (open-source MATLAB clone) for Prime 7.0. One of the calculations involves fitting a double exponential pulse to measured data. In Octave/MATLAB I use the lsqcurvefit function, which executes very quickly and appears to give me reasonable answers.   I am trying to find an equivalent function in MathCAD Prime. I tried genfit and LeastSquaresFit - for genfit I get a regression not converging error, for LeastSquaresFit I get  a floating point error. I even tried using the output of my MATLAB calculation as the guess value and still get these errors.   Here is a screenshot showing the function I am trying to fit, the guess value (which is the output from MATLAB), and a plot of the data and the fitting function using the guess value.   I assume I am doing something fundamentally wrong here. In MATLAB I can start with a guess value wildly in error and still get an answer.    

Hi! I am having trouble plotting a NACA airfoil for my aerodynamics class in MathCad Prime 5. The professor gave us a very similar application, but for MC 15. It works great there, but in MC prime 5 I get the 'Replace complex values and NaNs by real numbers' error when trying to plot the profile. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

How to wrap long expression to next line in Mathcad Prime? In Mathcad 15 it is Ctrl+Enter, This is not working in M-C Prime.

No matter how much I try, Mathcad can't add these expressions because it thinks they have different units (but they don't)... I need to simply and add the different stresses together but I can't.    As you can see in the picture, the stress at "A", is not simplified.  Because the stresses are not added together as the program thinks they have different unit.

I am having troubles getting multiple solutions for this system (with an underdamped response). I am using PTC MathCad Prime 5.0 Does anyone have suggestions?It works to use the root function, within a specific interval, but this function does not return all the solutions. I would like an way to get the solutions without necessarily knowing the interval.

I am using Mathcad 15. I have downloaded many zipped XMCD files from this community site in the past. Now whenever I search topics regarding queries I have, the attached zipped files now seem to always be MCDX which I believe is a Prime file. When extracted these files are "greyed" in the file explorer and will not open. Is there something I need to do to convert to Mathcad format? Many Thanks Ross

Hi I want to solve a mechanical torsors problem, but I don't know how to go about it with Mathcad I have a circular platform. on this platforme i have 3 point B1,B2,B3 on each point i have a forces, respectively F1,F2,F3. About it i know directional vector for each forces. My platform have a spherical joint in this center (point C). And i have a torsor which define exterior mechanical load applied on platform at C point.   1°/ i write mechanical component: obviously expressed respectively at each point    Now, i want to solve it find FB1,FB2,FB3,X,Y,Z     For this, i want to make a torsors transportation on C point!   And now! i am stuck😥   I make a light mc file for add to this post
