Hello, I'm developing a custom application that communicates to Mathcad Prime. I would like to ask few questions related to Mathcad Prime Interface as below: Is there any database used by MC15 or MCP? What are the interfaces / APIs available to integrate with a custom solution? What language these APIs are developed? Are there any C# .Net interfaces available? What would be the cost of SDK? and is it a bulk license or one license per developer? Kindly share your inputs. I repeatedly encounter the following problem: When I use 'solve' to solve an equation or a system of equations, it works fine as long as I don't try to assign the result (see minimal example below and in the attachment), which is quite essential. It just starts to complain with 'This variable is undefined' but does not even mark any single variable. - swapping the working and not working solve around does not change anything - giving the output variables different names does not help P.S.: This must have been answered somewhere. I did find some similar posts but none helped me.
I am trying to Rotate a set of co-ordinates about a point using rotation matrix , over a range of angles , I can do it in excel with ease using the data tables and i can get the values for different angles . Is there a way for using the same DATA tables of excel in MATCAD. Attached the file and i would like to vary the length of "ce" for a range of values and get the dependent values of L(H,I). Hello, I tried to do a node analysis with a resistor matrix. The input of the voltage matrix should be variable, therefor I introduced an array with voltages. After the solver I get an error "This value must be scalar or a matrix.". What must I do to get the rigth result, doing the calculation without array works. Thanks
I selected AK Jairath textbook because it goes back to 1992, 30 years ago, and its closer to that classic style of problem solving textbook. 2nd edition in 1994, and reprinted in 1996.Solutions & Problems in Control System. Dear sir, Now I am solving a design optimization problem using Mathcad prime 6.0 through python API. I uses comtypes library to deal with API programming in my Python code. In python code, I can set a single variable easily and vice verse. However, I could not set a matrix and get it from Mathcad. I really love to exchange variables which whether it is a real single variable or matrix between Python and Mathcad. I could not find any solution method for this trouble. Please help me with this issue. I really want to make them exchangeable for reproducible research work. It is not commercial but academic. Whenever I try to install MathCAD off of a CD or off of the downloaded application, I get the following error message. "Module C:\Program Files (x86)\Mathcad\Mathcad 15\tabler.ocx failed to register. HRESULT -2147010895. Contact your support personnel." Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Hi,I use the error message function to inform me about some errors in a few functions. At the same time I use on error operator to get already calculated results in a loop. Without it I can't see what is happening (I can't get already calculated results). I want to find out which function causes an error without using debug mode. Is it possible? Simplified example without loop is attached.

Hi I have three variables in Inductance (L) value calculation for buck boost converter - Input Voltage, Output Voltage, Output Current. All three can vary. I would like to plot L value as a function of these three to determine the Worst case inductance requirement. I am writing a system of equations and I want to plug values in for my remaining unknowns from a range of values and graph the resulting function. I actually want to have several variables be range variables while known variables are just one value. Do I need to build filler matrices for the single value variables to match up the matrix size or can MathCAD see the single variables as scalars to multiply by the matrices? I want to solve the system of equations with a brute force method instead of solving at many different points to cancel out variables. Any help is appreciated. I will be searching the help files until I get some help figuring this out. PS in the example I set a range variable of step size 1 N/mm to 100 N/mm and have the other variables defined as single value variables but I get the error message "This value must be a scalar or a matrix"
Hi Everyone, New MathCAD 15.0 user here having trouble resolving a “no solution was found” issue in the attached file. I'm trying to solve the equation for "y". "x" is the independent variable and is greater than zero. All the Greek letters are constants that are also greater than zero. From the looks of it, the solution should be some sort of Lambert-W function, and since everything is positive, the solution shouldn't have any imaginary component. Any help would be appreciated!
Hello to all Mathcad professionnals I need your help again. I need to calculate a drive torque for a wheel climbing a ramp. i can calculate this, but my worksheet is not elegant and is heavy 😥 (probably, i'a m using matchad programmation not correctly) Here is now i do The ramp is cylindrical profil in first time now, i dicotomize a ramp ( arc lenght) In second time. At this step, this is a mechanical problem I assume the ramp angle is simply a/2 . In fact, the ramp (red line, on the picture) is the tangent equation at the circle. the first point where we calculate a tangent is calculate with polar coordinates from dicotomized values. I think my result its Ok but i want more 😁 I want calculate all Traction forces and all associated torques for all dicotomized value. in one program ? and i want to draw all result at this moment i am lost, can you help me thank attacher P6 file

I am making the attached Mathcad 15 worksheet (Ring q Loading - Sin-Tangential Resistance - Uniform Varying Load.xmcd) available to anyone that needs such a tool. This worksheet is one of several that analyzes a structural ring stiffener (or bulkhead) given a general radial load pattern resisted by sine-tangential forces in the adjacent shell. This is a common structural model fully explained in Roark's "Formulas for Stress and Strain" (any edition). Since I am new to this PTC community forum, I am using this worksheet as a test. If this works, and/or the reports back from other members of the forum indicate an interest for other types of loading conditions, I will continue to post them. While this problem can be modelled using Finite Element Methods, the process is labor and time intensive, and would require frequent model alterations to converge to an efficient design. Hi the MathCad community, once again I ask for help I want to calculate the wheel torque necessary for climbing a circular ramp. I can calculate this, but it's not elegant and heavy, because i don't use mathcad programation correctly. first: in second time, i dicotomize the arc lenght with step parameter Now, this is a mechanical problem, i assume the wheel goes up the slope.
