Mathcad

I think this is the best probrem for electrical engneering students, original from MFra's post.Try to solve by Mathcad or Prime 9 if you can.     

Who's to guess what's in a protected area? Prime 6 in attach. We have some tools in Mathcad 15 (trace)    

when evaluating frequency equation for a MDOF model, if the stiffness and mass matrices are defined in terms of mass, elasticity, and etc constants, the resulting terms of the symbolic evaluation are reversed. (see below). I know that the result in terms of the constants is the correct answer. However, I dont understand why the determinant using values only gives reversed terms? Any ideas or pointers are apprieciated. Thanks

Here, optimization has been performed by means of the maximize function of Mathcad software (Mathsoft inc.). By this optimization procedure, the n  and m parameters that yield the best linear correlation for the plot of the left-hand side of eq 15 versus the reciprocal of temperature are obtained".  The equation is shown below. So I was wondering how can I implement this derivation through Mathcad.

Hi Experts, I have one question about Mathcad 15 integrate function.I want to calculate the area of the blue line, but I don't have any idea how to do it.I have the data for the red curve.  and I want to use this data to calculate equations (1) and Equation (2).Could you please give me some suggestions on it, thanks. Please see my attached file.     

In prior versions of Mathcad, I could create variables such as 'products' shown above. I could then create a variable like rate and assign a value of 100 products/min. Subsequent calculations would then allow me to change the units using the 'product' variable. Per the example above, I need the result of the last operation to be '300 products/min'. Is there a way to do this? It worked perfectly in Mcad 15 fwiw.Thanks

Hello All, I'm trying to convert excel sheet formula into Mathcad.  Example, I want to extract P/N No. from the excel table. Stud dia and Load is the input variables. Nominal Size is the stud dia.Once stud dia is entered remaining rows with different nominal size is ruled out.Then compare input load value against excel sheet min and max load.Load value should be more than the Min load value and near to maximum load in case of multiple variables.If load value is not available in the Column 2 and 3 then same steps will be carried for parallel min and max load (column 4 & 5).Same concept was followed in excel sheet calculation. Now I need help in making calculation in Mathcad file.   Can you please help me on this problem.

I can see that most software uses 2 parameters for the gamma function, while Mathcad uses only one. How do I understand this? Is there any way to make an equivalence?

I recently purchased the mathcad prime program. I work on multiple different devices, all are owned and used by me. Is there a way to access my software license on multiple devices without paying more? I believe I have a  node locked license and not a server hosted license. If I am able to access the license, how do I set it up? Thank you in advance.  

Can anyone help me. How do I do double interpolation of the Cf values highlighted?. I can do the interpolation twice every time But I want to create a quick sheet that I can just change the values in the matrix.    

Is there a setting I can change to make mathcad auto complete my units and previously defined variable names like Smath? I found that to be a really useful feature and I would be very dissapointed in this program if it isn't capable of a feature like that.    

If it is possible to export highlighted equations as an image file - then how is that accomplished?

I'm currently testing Mathcad Prime 11 with its new converter from Mathcad Prime to Mathcad 15.Look in the attachment what I get.

Hii! I'm having an issue with the following equation. The resulting value should be 3. But Mathcad shows it as 2.731.It leads to the least resultant value in the further following equations.Can anyone suggest to me the possibilities of getting the correct result?  

Hi, I'm facing an issue while converting the unit in Mathcad. Here I attached the issue. This was the resulting value of the corresponding equation. But I need the value in N/mm^2.If I change the unit, it does not result properly. The resultant value should be in N/mm^2. Can anyone suggest the better way to solve this issue?     

I am new to mathcad, could someone explain to me why I get this answer?  My calculator tells me it should be cos^-1(0.625) = 51.32 Any explanation or advice would be greatly appreciated.thanks,James

I need the symbolic result, because I would like to calculate the parameters of the electric circuit for which I wrote this system of equations. I would like to solve a non-linear equation for the maximum value.  The equation has 2 dependent variables and the solution represents the maximum value for a given number of independent variables. (see equations below). The dependent variables are initialized at the start of the solution and the largest values of Ka and Kp are calculated for the independent variables. I will try the solve block solution with 2 guess variables and see how the results compare to the published solutions.  I would appreciate comments/suggestions if there are other methods of solving the equations.    

My Mathcad 14 files became distort after I got the bigger monitor. Text regions shifted from math regions. Why that happen?Thanks, BR
