Mathcad

Hi! Please, help me before I lose my mind finally. I have this simple while loop which is working just fine most of the cases but not now. I understand that the problem is with indexes but I just cannot see the solution. Please find the example file attached. So what I'm trying to do is to compare the arrays xf and hs. Please see also the attached picture. I would want to get points compared and sorted like in the picture. From smallest to largest. English is not my native so I thought the picture would be more than thousand words. Feel free also to suggest more simple way to do this if you like. Bear in mind that the dimensions and number of "i" usually changes with different cases I have. But one thing doesn't change and it's the number of equally divided spaces = 8. Thanks a lot for your advice in advance! -Harri

Hi! I have a very bizarre error that I just can't solve. See the following:This gives me the "units are not compatible error" if I use t_uZkplus.max. If I put the solution for t_uZkplus.max manually in the lower line it works just fine:I really don't understand what is going on here. Does anybody have an idea?

 

I am trying to do a example from the MathCAD example "Generating Random Numbers"and it doesn't work properly. The norm function it doesn't show the proper plotting.Also the other examples from the tutorial, are hard to be plotted: scalar representation versus array.If you do a new version of software why there are no updates in the examples provided to reflect the version and changes in the software updates.Nevertheless in the example are some mistakes in the variable names that I correct them.It is something there, that I am doing wrong?

Hello community, does anybody happen to know whether there is such a thing as a config file for Mathcad Prime? The issue is that I'm fed up telling Prime after each conversion of a Mathcad 15 file that the document format is A4 and not letter. In a config file I might be able to instruct Prime to check for that parameter. Thanks in advance    

Is there still no way to set the plot font size in mathcad Prime 9  

Hello,       I think that I reached the full capability of Mathcad Prime 8 regarding the symbolic calculation. Or I am wrong?   Can somebody run this sol2 determinant in Mathcad Prime 9 to see the result?   Mathcad Prime 8 file attached.    

I would like to Create Function by ODEs solving. I can do it if I have one ODE - see please the picture But if I have 3 ones - see please the attach Prime 6  

Is there any option to get the same behavior as listbox in prime? 

I have tried several speed tests, using return and not using return in a function.  It is hard to detect any difference.  Is there any reason to use return for a function that does not have any conditional breaks, that is, executes top to bottom and exits at the bottom? Regards, DS

when evaluating frequency equation for a MDOF model, if the stiffness and mass matrices are defined in terms of mass, elasticity, and etc constants, the resulting terms of the symbolic evaluation are reversed. (see below). I know that the result in terms of the constants is the correct answer. However, I dont understand why the determinant using values only gives reversed terms? Any ideas or pointers are apprieciated. Thanks

First, the Pearsons linear correlation coefficient between the left-hand side of eq 15 and the reciprocal of temperature is used as the objective functionfor optimization, where n and m are the variable parameters to maximize the objective function. Here, optimization has been performed by means of the maximize function of Mathcad software (Mathsoft inc.). By this optimization procedure, the n  and m parameters that yield the best linear correlation for the plot of the left-hand side of eq 15 versus the reciprocal of temperature are obtained".  The equation is shown below. So I was wondering how can I implement this derivation through Mathcad.

Hi Experts, I have one question about Mathcad 15 integrate function.I want to calculate the area of the blue line, but I don't have any idea how to do it.I have the data for the red curve.  and I want to use this data to calculate equations (1) and Equation (2).Could you please give me some suggestions on it, thanks. Please see my attached file.     

In prior versions of Mathcad, I could create variables such as 'products' shown above. I could then create a variable like rate and assign a value of 100 products/min. Subsequent calculations would then allow me to change the units using the 'product' variable. Per the example above, I need the result of the last operation to be '300 products/min'. Is there a way to do this? It worked perfectly in Mcad 15 fwiw.Thanks

Hello All, I'm trying to convert excel sheet formula into Mathcad.  Example, I want to extract P/N No. from the excel table. Stud dia and Load is the input variables. Nominal Size is the stud dia.Once stud dia is entered remaining rows with different nominal size is ruled out.Then compare input load value against excel sheet min and max load.Load value should be more than the Min load value and near to maximum load in case of multiple variables.If load value is not available in the Column 2 and 3 then same steps will be carried for parallel min and max load (column 4 & 5).Same concept was followed in excel sheet calculation. Now I need help in making calculation in Mathcad file.   Can you please help me on this problem.

I can see that most software uses 2 parameters for the gamma function, while Mathcad uses only one. How do I understand this? Is there any way to make an equivalence?

I recently purchased the mathcad prime program. I work on multiple different devices, all are owned and used by me. Is there a way to access my software license on multiple devices without paying more? I believe I have a  node locked license and not a server hosted license. If I am able to access the license, how do I set it up? Thank you in advance.  

Can anyone help me. How do I do double interpolation of the Cf values highlighted?. I can do the interpolation twice every time But I want to create a quick sheet that I can just change the values in the matrix.
