Hello, I am using Thingworx 8.4 with Manufacturing Apps extension. Unfortunatly, it is not possible to login (Adminstrator) to /Thingworx/FormLogin/Welcome or even /Thingworx/FormLogin. Instead I get the message: "Anmeldeinformationen stimmen nicht mit einer gültigen Benutzername-Passwort-Kombination für diese Organisation überein. Versuchen Sie es später noch einmal." (In English: Username and password for this Organisation do not match. Please, try again later.). In the Security Log I get a Nullpointerexeption: ApplicationContext.sessionDestroyed(HttpSessionEvent) failed. [ java.lang.NullPointerException: userName was null ][ userName was null ] Eventhough the usernamefield is not empty. What could be the Problem?   Thanks Cedrik  

Hi, I found Operator Advisor supports nice GUI for making Work Instruction and managing Work Order but I cannot find the document regarding such GUI operation but only regarding technical like "ThingWorx_Operator_Advisor_Guide.pdf".   Does anybody know or have it? Hello PTC Support,I have a problem with adding new filter-options to the assetfilter in the manufacturing application.I added new properties to PTC.ISA95.PhysicalAssetThingTemplate. I used the documention for that and it was pretty simple.   Now I want to add the new properties as filter-options for assets. The documentation says I have to edit PTC.SCA.SCO.AssetMonitor.AssetList.C_FilterMashup_8.4.2_00 for that.       Like in the picture from the documentation I would like to add new options under the category “Mehr”. I want to add MashineType from PTC.ISA95.PhysicalAssetThingTemplate. I know I have to edit PTC.SCA.SCO.AssetMonitor.AssetList.C_FilterMashup_8.4.2_00 but to duplicate the buttons like the preset “Modellnummer” one I have from problems.     Maybe there is a way to help me to create a new option for the filter like I want to?

I have many questions about WorkFlow Builder and Alerts. 1. When I made event for start WorkFlow by alert, I was watching a two situation. 1) If alert has conditions as "<", ">", "=<", ">=" then WorkFlow did not start. 2) WorkFlow start when alert has a condition "==" only! In both situations alert is start, but workflow start only in 2).Why is this happening and how to fix it?   2. How work GetAlertStatus function from Generic? Why Status in [Properties and Alerts]-[Alerts] not displayed when Alert is worked?   3. How does the condition work (WorkFlow builder, Gateway) - context.activeStep === "1"? Worked only context.activeStep != "0", look attached.  

What is main use of work center and work cell template since both have Equipment thing template. Can someone explain ?

Maybe I'm missing something but I've using the learning paths as a guide. They are very good but if I wish to refer back to them to go through them again I don't seem to be able to do that if it's 100% complete. What am I missing. Hi All,  I created a trend showing the OperatingMode property, butthe graph is not showing the correct values when I change the time range selection.   OperatingMode property values are the following (QueryPropertyNamedHistory service output): The graph is correct when I select the time range From 2019-07-31 07:00:00 -> To 2019-07-31 10:39:00   While the graph is not correct when I select the time range From 2019-07-30 07:00:00 -> To 2019-07-31 10:39:00 The property value is not equal to 1 in the selected time range   Any idea? Just downloaded Thingworx demo and KEPServerEX 6.6 When I tried to connect KepServerEX, I got the following error: "ThingWorx Native Interface Connection to ThingWorx failed. | Platform = <servername>:<server port="">/Thingworx/WS, error = unknown error."   In summary, I think the issue was that you can not use the name "localhost" for your server name.   I checked that I had correctly setup all my ThingWorx items in Property Editor (Enabled, host name, port, application key, etc.) However, I kept having problems. I thought the problem was the application key, so i entered a bad application key and I got a different error (authentication error). I tried changing the socket from 9080 to the example's 8080 and got a socket error.   After going into the thingworx controls advisor and deleting the server and then adding a new server called "TestServer" instead of "localhost", it now works.   I'm writing this post in hope that either someone experiencing the

Hi, I would need to now if and how is possible to change background color for whole header in Manufacturing Apps Masters.  I followed the customization guide, its possible to change PTC.Factory.C_MasterMashupTile_<release> in regards to logo and background color. But that is only half of the page. Rest is directly in Master which does not have a duplicate and it cannot be changed.  I only can make a copy of it, I have found out that color can be set at Master's Header's right panel.  But how many Masters do I need to copy and which mashups are using those Masters? Is there a way how to achieve this?

Can i change the colors of the status timeline inputs ? E.g. changing the green color to a darker one ?

Is there a possibility to add another status beside the 6 default ones in the configuration and setup app ?  I can only find the customization of the expressions in the guide.   Or can i rename the "UNPLANNED_DOWNTIME" in e.g. "ERROR"  ?

I am not getting any extension file for operator advisor. please guide me for the same.

Hi Slangey,   Please correct me if I am wrong. To get TW Asset advisor I need to have TW Foundation. So Asset advisor or other manf. and service apps cannot be sold standalone. Is that right?

I want to have an individual design for the factoryConsole. So i duplicated the PTC.FactoryConsole and changed color and icons, but how can i assign this duplicate as the mashup that i wanna use now ? I tought this could be done in the config of the LaunchPointConfigurationThing but there's only the TitleMashup that can be replaced.  

Is there a way to assign duplicate mashups (e.g. PTC.Factory.Logout Mashup) to the PTC.FactoryConsole?  I want to change the Logout Area and assign this to the Mashup.       Or is it possible to customize the PTC.FactoryConsole oder duplicate this Mashup and use it with my own design configurations?

I have a custom created variable which I need to read into KepServer. My variable is an extended variable, a key-value pair:   <DataItem sampleRate="1000" type="e:VARIABLES" subType="x:COMMON" category="EVENT" id="L2p2CommonVariable" name="p2CommonVariable"/>   I have configured the IT but it keeps complaining about the data type.   Any help is appreciated.

Hi,    I'm using the manufacturing app to monitor machine availability. My status codes were not working and I realized that when I look at the "Additional Properties", my Boolean data points are not reflecting what's in Kepware, they just say "False".   I'm using Kepware where the tags are updating correctly in real time. I have the additional properties bound to the correct tag from Kepware. Any idea why these wouldn't be updating?

And I can using "anomaly detection" just in "Thingworx composer".   How I config "Thingworx MFG App" for setup anomaly detection?

Hi,    I have created a user with the maintenance engineer role. Whenever that user opens Asset Advisor, the mashup master and filter list display as they should, but the asset list does not show up. If I add the controls engineer role to that same user, the asset list displays as it should, but then that user has access to composer, etc.. How can i make the asset list display under the maintenance engineer role?  See pic. Thanks for any assistance.    

I want setup manufacturing apps trial version for learning. I have subscribed to online trial for thingworx composer, similarly is there a online trial for manufacturing apps? I could only see installation guides for manufacturing apps then how do we use this in SaaS modle?

We are using SUMA in Windchill and want to see what AML/AVL a specific Manufacturerpart is in. Since I apparently cannot use the service Things["ptc-windchill-integration-connector"].Structure_Get_Ancestors to do this as it's probably not a normal parent-child link, I wonder what service we can use to get this information?   The SUMA typeID is com.ptc.windchill.suma.part.ManufacturerPart and the Structure_Get_Ancestors on an object gives an empty JSON.
