Where can I get the OPC-DA software?

Hi,   I am trying to import Thingworx Manufacturing app extension i.e. MED-61227-CD-082_SP2_ThingWorx-Manufacturing-Apps-8-2-2-extension-bundle into Thingworx composer. The version of thingworx composer is ThingWorx 8.0.9-b138. I am getting error as "Not Acceptable" when I click on import.   Please let me know what could be the issue.   Thanks, Azim

Hi, I wanted to install manufacturing app. I wanted to know if the license for manufacturing app is available? Will thingworx 8.0 and manufacturing app run independently? If manufactuirng app can be installed how many days the license will be active? The case is I do not want to use the manufacturing app extentions imported in thingworx.   Thanks, V Shalini.    

Hi, 1) I wanted to know will manufacturing apps work without internet? 2) If the Operating server is 2007 will the validation be successful and  manufacturing apps get installed?  Please provide an answer for these as we are planning to deploy the manufacturing apps.  Thanks in advance.  

Hi all, I'm installing Thingworx 8.1.3 for manufacturing apps. I had followed the steps given in the article https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article?n=CS271439 . The problem is after changing the license file to "license_capability_respone.bin" i'm getting the errors "Unable to retrieve license from FNO server because Unable to acquire twx_composer: Requested feature's hostid does not match system hostid.[Ljava.lang.StackTraceElement;@1a7303f6". But if i change the filename to "341_license_capability_respone.bin" the composer is loading but the services "GetCurrentLicenseInfo" is returning error. Please advice. Thanks and regards, Saran

Dear Sir or Madam, I am very new to ThingWorx especially on Manufacturing Apps. I have seen the Example ot it when I was in Hannover Exhibition 2018 (2 Weeks ago).  I want to login the Manufacturing Apps from another computer. How could I do that? So following actions have been done : 1. I have installed the ThingWorx Dev Kit and Manufacturing Apps on my Laptop 2. My KepServerEx is connected to the Manufacturing Apps 3. Maschines are already online in Manufacturing Apps 4. Analyse, i.e. OEE is done. 5. I have made a new User for our Maintanance Manager   So our Maintanance Manager want to overview from his Computer. But I have only a blank Screen. What should I do? Is it possible to login Manufacturing Apps from another computer? 1.  How do I make anomaly detection visible in MFG Apps 8.2? it is visible in MFG Apps 8.1 but not in 8.2 as seen in the screenshots below:   From MFG Apps 8.1 From MFG Apps 8.2 Thingwatcher is enabled and works independently but I still cannot see the anomaly detection on the front end.   I looked through the support document ThingWorx Manufacturing Apps Setup and Configuration Guide (https://www.ptc.com/support/-/media/D43B0660876340C7BF3C5CF393442B49.pdf?sc_lang=en) but couldn't find anything.   2. I would also like to know if it is possible to configure anomaly detection from the front end of MFG Apps?   Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

When using Asset Advisor, drilling into an asset and viewing the Asset Detail page, my regular (Maintenance Engineer) users get the following error: Not authorized for ServiceInvoke on GetEffectiveMenu in 3DS.PTC.SCA.SCO.AssetMonitor.AssetDetail.ActionMenu] The administrators do not have this problem.  Are special permissions required for the Action Menu?  There is also a service PTC.SCA.SCO.AssetMonitor.AssetDetail.AssetDetailServiceController Which fails when you call GetMenu with the following error: Unable to Invoke Service GetMenu on PTC.SCA.SCO.AssetMonitor.AssetDetail.AssetDetailServiceController : null] I verified that the service is getting the correct input arguments, but there is some deeper permission issue here.

I have one question about connecting Manufacturing Apps to KEPServerEX. I followed the tutorial step by step. After I set properties info, I got the server which is showed on the control advisor. However, the "Status" is always  connection off. I install my KEPServerEX and Manufacturing Apps on my laptop. Does anyone know how to fix it?   Our Thingworx composer is installed on the server, so do I need to install KEPServerEX on server, too? I am a little confused about this problem.

Hello, I have only 4 GB Computer RAM. Can I find early version of ThingWorx MFG App Express and continue with my PC or it's impossible?

I want to modify and add asset status in the manufacturing apps. How Can I do this?

Hi,   Downloaded Thingworx Manufacturing Apps Extension ThingWorx-Manufacturing-Apps-8.1.0-extensionbundle.zip and unzipped. Tried importing ThingWorx-Manufacturing-Apps-8.1.0-extensiondependencies.zip and ThingWorx-Manufacturing-Apps-8.1.0-extension.zip into Thingworx Composer in the order specified in the document. ThingWorx-Manufacturing-Apps-8.1.0-extensiondependencies.zip  1st extension is imported successfully, but 2nd extension (ThingWorx-Manufacturing-Apps-8.1.0-extension.zip) import is failing and throwing NullPointerException. Validation of extension is successful but import is failing. SCO_Common_extension, AppHomePage-extension, KepServerPlantstatus-extensions are failing and getting NullPointerException. Import failed screen is attached. Please let me know what could be the reason for this issue.

I installed the Demo Factory following the steps in "Installing the ThingWorx for Manufacturing Demo Factory.pdf" document.   STEP 3 – IMPORT THE KEPWARE SIMULATOR CONTROLS - OK  STEP 4 – ADD A TILE TO THE CONSOLE TO LINK TO CONTROLS MASHUP - OK STEP 5 – IMPORT THE TAG DATA INTO DATA TABLE - Seems to be OK STEP 6 – UPDATE THE LABEL FOR THE CONTROLS TILE - Seems to be OK   The tile is added to the Console linked to Controls mashup, but the label in the tile is not ok (shows ????) and when I open the controls mashup it seems to be not connected.               Thank you,   Maria Alice     

Hello,   I have installed the Manuf Apps 8.2, connected with Kepware 6.4. I want to create Assets in order to represent the Devices that I have in kepware. Unfortunately I have not found a step by step guide to show how create an asset and then connect it with kepware data.    First I would like to know if my vision is good : one Device in Kepware = one Asset ?    1. In the App Configure and Setup I have created Assets (screenshot 1). 2. In the App Configure and Setup I added additionnal attributes and managed to get my Kepware data (screenshot 2) 3. In the App Asset Advisor, my assets are displayed but are not connected... I don't know why ? Is the fact to retrieve a data from Kepware is not enough ? (screenshot 3) 4. In the Asset Management App I can see only one Asset, why (screenshot 4)    Also why is there two apps "Asset Advisor" and "Asser Management" which are really different ?   Thank you    

Is possible to install ThingWorx-Manufacturing-Apps-8.1.2-00-Express on windows server 2016?

Greetings, I installed ThingWorx Manufacturing Apps 8.1.2 Dev Kit (30 day Dev Kit Trial) and now I want to install the “Demo Factory” data set, but the “Import configuration and data” option is not available in the top right conner menu. What should I do? Regards Maria Alice 

We have about 8 or 10 Kepservers communicating to ThingWorx (and have for several months), and recently started having regular crashes(multiple times a day) of Tomcat in our production environment. It doesn't hang or get slow, Tomcat just stops abruptly. I noticed the crash log from Tomcat listed a boatload of blocked threads, I've attached a sample here. Through lots of trial and error (and much help from PTC support), we identified that it must be somehow related to our remote connections, because with the WSExecutionProcessinng subsystem turned off for several days we had no issues.We stopped the actual crashing by adding the JVM argument  "-XX:-UseAESIntrinsics" after deep googling and shots in the dark led us to find a lot of similarities with this issue.​ However, the underlying issue I think is still happening, as we still get daily errors in the Tomcat std_err log that look like the below.I'm running thin on things to investigate (but do still have a few), but has anyone h
