Hi Guys,In Windchill we can use the "Target State" to set a lifecycle state at a single shot for all the WT Part rights.I want the same thing for the association type because whenever tried to associate EPM comes as the owner is the default. I want to change into a contributing image.Can we control through preference management to set my EPM always in the contributing image? If that means WT Part is Owner Right.Regards,Aj

Hi Guys,We have the option to create a multiple WT Part at a single time in Windchill, But I can't see the "New CAD Document" option to enable while creating the WT Part. Is there any possibility to do this? Regards,AJ

Hello,As we work towards our EPLM journey to author OM, WSM content, it would be wonderful if we could add applicability in ATX that is then searchable within Windchill or searchable item/usage expression.We do not currently tag all of our topics with attributes at the topic level (it would be a tagging nightmare) so looking for an alternative.This will allow the team creating new publications to look for reuse content easier. For example, if we have a new model coming out that reuses an existing 9.8L engine. "9.8L" is tagged in-line, as well as at the topic level as an assigned item/usage expression. Would be wonderful if we could search the expression "9.8L" to find relevant content.NOTE - we are authoring task topics with text, not generating parts/CAD/etc. like a typical Windchill user.

Change Notice and activity workflows are not starting suddenly. Didn't have any clue regarding the root cause. Earlier they are working fine. The same workflows are working on other environment. Windchill should exclude some files to upload in a WT_Document. The filter should be by extensión (.odt, .exe, .....) or by size (for example only upload files minus than 500 MB.These filters should be configurated by preferences.

I am curious if someone has done this. It does not look like it is straight forward using infoengine. So wondering, if anyone has used infoengine to get workflow intruction, variables, and voting options of an open task.thanks.

We have a strange problem with Windchill 12.0.2.6 and Creo View Adapters 9.0.0.0 configured for Office document publishing.Every time a Word document goes to the Office worker for publishing, we get this popup on the worker server:And when I close that window, a login window pops up next: When that is also closed, the worker creates the PDF successfully. If no-one goes and closes those dialogs on the server, the worker will just wait until the timeout and then fail the job.Annoyingly, those windows stay open on the server and stack with each new Word publish job. So after a while, we might have tens of those windows open on the server and each one hogging up 50-100MB of RAM. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it? We already disabled MFA for that MS account as suggested somewhere else, but that didn't help.

every time we release a drawing in the Windchill, the CAD worker, creates a PDF of it. like image pdf_number_drw.pdf.   Any idea of how can I change that, we need it to be ( number_REVA.pdf)   Thank you for your help in advance.

Once the connection server is online NX lost the key to use Manufacturing Part.The NX properties are complitely ignored about NX Manufacturing template.Template for part, assembly and drawing are ok. hello. When applying Windchill Authentication in Thingworx Navigate,Windchill's TLS version needs to be set to 1.2 for the Odata Connector and Swagger Connector to function. However, Windchill interfaces with other systems where only allowing TLS1.2 is not feasible. Hello all,  For last hour and a half I´ve been searching here on forum and on uncle Google, but didn´t manage to find anything helpful, therefore I would like to ask you, the guru´s for your help. In general, I´m trying to find a simplest way (report, advanced search, or other) to identify unique objects used only in that assembly in order to mark them obsolete.To explain a bit more, we are creating assemblies from various parts, that can be shared between assemblies (like brackets for example), however I want to be able to identify a list of objects only used in that specific assembly (for example parts unique to aprt number 201000). *If I will be able to generate list of unique objects for specific assembly, then I can export all unique objects to that assembly, enter another assembly number, export list and remove duplicates to get a list of completely unique parts not related to any other product.* Do you have any idea, if that is possible or have you any s

Have got the PSI installer contained in CPS18 running, with LAX_VM $JAVA_HOME/bin/java and with PATH extended to include Windchill/bin.   Also have a link to Corretto Java as export JAVA_HOME='/opt/ptc/Windchill_12/Corretto11'java -> /opt/ptc/Windchill_12/Corretto11/   But the Update icon is greyed no matter what I do. Found the logfile for this in /tmp/user/PTCSOLNINSTALLER_PtcInstall.log containing 140K but no errors that I could see. I found the psi_iir_index.xml file now. That's a clue: it is in a directory named PSI-Main. Maybe I need to cd to the parent directory before running the installer?
