I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS M020-CPS12Hi Team,I am able to create Traffic attribute and it is showing correctly on part information page but when i am using same attribute on customize table in a column it is only showing number (1,2,3) instead of graphical view. Please help to resolve it please find screen shots.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.0.0   Hello.   One specific user item was able to be revised up to version A.27 without any problems until recently.   However, a check-in error occurred a week ago. The first error message was 'CAD part: XXX is not unique', so I informed them by changing the name to a new part in the workspace.   The additional error message that occurred after the name change is '(Item Name): The operation cannot be completed because an association cannot be created with a part to which the user does not have access rights. You must gain access to the part or it will be deleted from the database.'   After searching the technical documentation, I found the item in Actions > Edit Access > Allow Full Control.   Please check if the solution is to just change it to Allow.   In addition, I would appreciate it if you could tell me what caused the sudden occurrence after 26 revisions without problems

We have a multi view part with Owner association to the .drw.In the first view, the related objects shows the same drw version 4 timesOn the later view, only once.next downstream view:Any idea why it's doing this?We just happen to have four revisions, is that a coincidence? 

Hi,wrt Windchill 12.0.2.5. We use an Excel to analyse the license usage logfiles of Windchill / ThingWorx. Is there any tool / dashboard available that helps getting deeper insights more or less automatically? E.g. wrt inactive users (got a license, but didn't use it for a x period of time) etc. Best regardsMartin

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.8Is it possible to have contradictory conditions in publish rules.We want to have a condtion in the publish where content (STEP/PDF) only is published when attribute MODEL_TYPE is empty. If this value is not empy it should not publish any content only the pvz.

By using advanced search, not getting latest version of objects when trying to search.Results are inconsistent, contain non latest version as well.  The advanced search may show non-latest versions when certain filters are applied, although the preference "latest version Search" is set to Yes.Please do some enhancement for it.

Before I became the Systems Admin for Windchill it was connected to an Active Directory without a filter and started creating junk accounts. I am not sure why or how, but we're no longer using that Domain so that is no longer happening. This is causing issues with the disconnected users search (it crashes) and some I can't find even using wildcards. I know they're still in there because I can run a command on the SQL Database to find them, but the search doesn't find them. How can I remove these users who do not show up in the Disconnected Users Search? I have some that are clearly meeting rooms in our AD and Windchill created an account for them such as this {wt.org.WTUser:29111431}UKNEW_Room_04. This is how it actually shows up in the SQL Database in the WTUser table. Also why is the disconnected users search so clunky? The SQL command pulls over 1600 in a second. I have one user who just restarted Creo and after logging into Windchill, opens the workspace but there is no Tools menu for him to sync the filename that was renamed in commonspace. He had it this morning, but it just disappeared and the restart of Creo did not bring it back. I had him remove the file from his workspace and then open the assembly so the system would bring in the file from commonspace with the right name. We are on Windchill 12.0.2.12 and Creo 9.0.7.0. We only switched to Creo 9.0.7.0 last week and this is the first someone has mentioned this happening. Has anyone else seen this odd behavior?

Good dayI am new to Windchill and I would like to describe a scenario for which I need some clarity on.I create a "New" editable word document in Windchill and get a Windchill number ex: Test001 and Rev A.1I then check out / Check in this document several times to edit it and end up with a final edition, lets say Rev A.7Now Everyone is happy and the CEO signs the document, saves it as a PDF and sends it back to me as the Latest approved version.Now I need to get this signed PDF document into Windchill and associate it somehow to the last Rev of the word document A.7 as they are in essence exactly the same except for file type (word to pdf) and the pdf is signed.1 month later the CEO decides to change something in the company and the word document needs to be updated so it is checked out, updated and checked back in making it Rev A.8 but the signed pdf is not the same anymore and doesn't reflect the new changes although it was signed.My question is what happens in this case where I have

I am using Windchill PartsLink Release 11.2 and Datecode with CPS 11.2.1.10my naming is not visible fully and my name field contains the length only 60 character and my autonaming length is around 94 character so that's why it is not showing full naming and we can't change length of the name field. so my question is we can apply the autonaming rule to the different field like description or any other attribute instead of name field?For more clarification please connect with - suraj.devarde@piterion.com

Hi all,Extremely new to Windchill, as I've never heard or used it really before. My team wants to utilize Windchill to just store various documents/files that we might need to refer/access for formal situations. These files would probably be associated with a version of our build. We were hoping we could somehow utilize the API as well to dynamically upload certain documents to Windchill well. We currently have an extremely fresh install of Windchill 12.1.2.0, with 2.5 REST. There is currently really nothing on Windchill, except for a single organization. Any direction that you suggest I go in? Is this a possible thing to do? Any help as greatly appreciated.

I am new to working with webjects and am trying to use the Create-Objects webject to create a Customer Experience object in Windchill. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS M020-CPS24The WGM conflict window stays in the background and the user does not understand what to do. When he kills the process, then he finds out that the window was there. As a workaround, use Win+tab to check all the windows open.

I am connecting one part to another in wtpPart to retrieve the AlternateNumber through Windchill. It appears in WtpartAlternateLink, but when I check the part via servlet/odata/ProdMgmt/Parts('OR:wt.part.WTPart:#######'), the 'AlternateNumber' comes as null. Can you please help me understand the reason for this? Is there a different method to add AlternateNumber to a part through Windchill? If so, could you please explain?

Good day AllI am compiling a document (Configuration Management Plan) for a project that we are working on  and in this document I am referring to Windchill as our enabler for Config Control of all the project documentation, drawings, Plans etc.Does anyone perhaps have a High-Level Workflow or explanation on Windchill and how it handles or facilitates Configuration Control as a whole.So, with other words, a High-level Configuration Control Flow process in Windchill.
