I tried installing creo, all went well, entered the student license BK410705EDSTUDENTUNICL and PTC math CAD worked by creo parametric said that the license doesnot allow this. I tried to uninstall and reinstall again after removing license files and now it says it cannot approve license 😞 I'm stuck, please help

I installed the Student Edition of CREO PTC 4.0 and it did not include the VisualBasic Toolkit. Is there a way I can go about getting it on the student edition, if at all possible?    

I downloaded and installed Creo and received my license file. When I launch Creo I get a message that says in order to run Creo in Tryout mode you have to enable the Quality Agent. I also had received a message about incorrect configuration for TCP IP. Creo Parametric closes and doesn't move on. I have tried to reconfigure my license and it shows that the license is valid.

Someone, please help!I had to reinstall windows on my PC and lost my copy of Creo 2.0. When I saw that 3.0 was available free for students, I happily jumped on for FTC. Now it is telling me my product code is incorrect, even though I simply copied and pasted it from the installation guide. Could somebody please help me with this? My team was planning on upgrading to 3.0 tomorrow after school, so if someone has any recomendations, it would be greatly appreciated.

In Thingworx standard training, after creating temperature and humidity widgets, when i try to set the value, it doesnt show up in the dialpls see the attached document    

I am using the academic edition and running the Raspberry Pi AM2302 example.I was able to build the mashup but I see that my value chart shows the most recent data on the left side.It seems to me that strip charts like this are more usually graphed left to right, with the most recent data appearing on the right side.I was looking for answers to change this graphing behavior and came upon a suggestion to set the oldestFirst property.But I am using the auto-created Value stream for an academic instance user and I don't know where (or if) I can set this property for that stream.Any advice appreciated.Jim

I am using the academic instance (the one for IoT university: https://academic.cloud.thingworx.com/Thingworx/Composer/index.html) and today I am not getting a reliable refresh of the entities when I click the home button. I am told there are 244 items on display but I see none of them.Tried with Google Chrome and Safari on my Mac.Once in awhile the list does show items but then when want to specialize to just Things or Thing Shapes, the list is empty again.Anyone else experience this?Jim

Hello, The student license expired and i'm trying to renew it, i found the relicensing guides on other post but each time I try to put the code into the simple license entry it come instead of saying success it says error and doesn't work. (im a university student and ive been using the code BK400407EDSTUDENTUNICL)

Hi, I am a college student and I'm trying to install and run Creo 2.0 on my MacBook Pro (OS X 10.11.3) using Wine. I was able to open the setup.exe, input the License code given in the guide on the Simple License Entry slot, and Login with my credentials, but I get an error message that reads "Please provide mandatory values". What can I do to solve his issue?

Hello,My Wildfire 4.0 Student version was running fine before reformatting my hard drive. However, after reinstalling 4.0 on clean drive, it will not start. The Windows hour-glass briefly appears after trying to start the program and then nothing. I'm running XP Professional & the drive is NTFS format. Also, after reading posts here about modifying the config.pro file to check for possible graphics problems, I have discovered that I have no config.pro file. In fact the only file that is in my root installation directory (besides additional directory folders) is proobj.ini. If memory serves me, this is where the config.pro file should be as well as some other files. I have also tried turning the Hardware Acceleration off & running with 256 colors with no luck.Any help would be greatly appreciated!!Thanks,Steve

Hi Have tried registering online for Creo 4.0 for a premium licence. Have done this a number of times and to differnet emails but no response. Also on previous versions as a Creo UK Trainer I used to be sent an excel document of codes that could be given to pupils to install the software at home. Using their own PTC account is this still possible.   Regards   Simon Hooker

Hello all, I recently got my Premium license for Creo 4.0 and was extremely excited to start using the new rendering system... unfortunately, every time I click the button, it hangs infinitely in Creo, and eventually my computer stops responding altogether. I don’t have a computer that is in a certified configuration, but it’s also not like I’m on an ancient machine either. Other than this, I can use Creo 4 fine as far as I can tell. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

I keep getting this error when i try to put in the liscense i am using the correct one with the correct program version, i cant do my homework and i cant figure out whats wrong. I have completly uninstalled and reinstalled more than one, i have redownloaded the files more than one to double check that.

Hi All,I need to fetch some data from raspberrypi onto thingworx thing and it needs to be accessible via an android phone.I installed EMS on RaspberryPi and that is bound to Thing - PiThing.I am able to read Temperature data and trigger GPIO pins (led lights) directly from Thingworx.But when i created an Android Application to pull this temperature data and to turn led lights on/off, the thingworx thing got bound to android app.Is there anyway to do this?Should i approach it another way?Any help is appreciated.Thanks and regardsMaruthi Ayyappan

Dear all,I hesitate to ask this because it seems like it should be a really trivial thing but I can't seem to be able solve it on my own.I am simply trying to create a service that will remove duplicate rows from an InfoTable and as part of this endeavour I am trying to write a unit test to validate my service. The problem I have is that the InfoTable in my test never seems to have any data. I use the most obvious method (addRow) but that doesn't seem to do anything.I'm hoping that someone can tell me what it is that I'm missing. Is this type of unit testing not possible, am I using the wrong methods or is there some other setting I have to get right in order to get this to work? Thanks for posting the Relic Recovery CAD models! However, when we try open them in Creo 3 (M110), we get a "files cannot be retrieved" error.   I'm guessing the problem is either: Files were written with Creo 4.0, and can't be read by Creo 3.0 Files were inadvertently written with non-academic version of Creo and can't be read by an academic version Regards, Joe Higham Mentor, FTC 18 Techno Chix Pleasantville, NY

had been using creo for some time now, but recently the program keeps crashing without warning. have tried to reinstall everything but the crashes still happen. there's no message for this sudden crashing, other than on start up again, it just states that creo was not closed properly. is there a fix for this?
