Whenever I am using units the answer changes why does it keep happening?

Hi team,Suppose your Solr is down for a few minutes (perhaps to restart after fixing the log4j jars). Do changed documents get queued for indexing? Or do the changed documents escape getting indexed? Worse, any added documents could escape being indexed. The workaround, if needed, could be weekend bulk indexing.thanks -- Rick

Guru's,   I have a special task to advise with you.   while designing a RF box ( electronics ) i need to create many wall for the sake of enable separation areas between antennas.   The easiest way to achieve would be to simply create a sketch with many lines ( not intersecting either creating close loop ) and simply use extrude thin in order to achieve.   This can be done quite easily in SW however i can't manage to find thy way achieving the same in Creo.   Doing it manually, one by one, is always an option however would require 50 separate features. i would like to avoid that. Tried also to facilitate Rib feature - again no luck.   Any suggestion ?

Creating a new Framework file in Creo 7.0.5.0, when I go to check it in, it fails to check in due to a ModelCheck failure. Looking at the ModelCheck reports and the file shows no errors or warnings. Has something changed with ModelCheck and/or Framework with Creo7?

Hi I am student and some of my files are corrupted.I have 2 mcdx files where there is an error with precision in some calculations.when the files where saved, a critical error had occurred setting precision to "" (ergo nothing) I remember ignoring it and thinking nothing of it.I have tried a fix where you turn the files into .zip and alter the worksheet file manually, but when I try to open it after I have repacked it and changed it back to mcdx, it just doesn't open. if anyone has a fix, that be awesomethanks in advance. regards Karsten

I want to use the item reference numbers that are created with the BOM ballons of my assembly drawing to indicate which part is shown in a component drawing.But when I want to add the element number note, only code is generated in that note, as shown in the attached picture.This is what I would have expected it to look like:Does anyone know how to fix this, or whether there is any other way or workaround to display the same item reference number that is used in the BOM in the respective part drawing? Thank you for any answers and help.

Hi,As we know starting Windchill 12.0.1 DS is no longer shipped.Tried to OpenDJ community edition for Windchill 12.0.2 on VM the installation works fine.However the question arises how far is it recommended/safe to use a open source LDAP for customer.Any suggestions appreciated.Regards,Durga

Refer to the posted video for details on this issue.   When searching for components in an assembly model I would expect both parts and subassemblies that satisfy the search criteria would be returned as found. I am not seeing this in a test case. In one query all parts and assemblies are returned as found. In the second query only parts are found. I am not understanding why these results are different.    Can anyone explain why the two search queries shown in the video do not return the same results as found? Hello all,something I surprisingly enough did not find in discussions...Nobody really asked about it so far and we've managed with just admin set state, but: How do you manage approval / Promotion of document templates?How do I remove them from search results so that users are not able to download the file from there instead using New Document from Template in Desktop Integration tools? Hello folks, I have an EMS running on a docker container with ubuntu. With the help of the Lua script two parameters are read (CPU frequency and temperature) and then shared as remote properties with Thingworx. Then i added a value stream to display the historical data (queryPropertyHistory).My problem is that no history exists. I am also not sure if the values are really updated. The timestamp is always the same (timestamp= start-time Lua service). When I press "save" on the remote thing, the remote properties are reset and after a short wait, new values appear. However, the timestamp remains the same. I found a post in the forum where another user had a similar problem. (Raspberry-Pi-EMS-Value-Stream/td-p/603659)  After editing my utils.lua as described in the post, I get at least a new timestamp/line after "saving the Thing" on the queryPropertyHistory. I need a correct ValueStream with all historical data. Attached is my template.lua-file, the lua.log

Hello,I am running Protoolkit customization on 2 different machines. The customization is spawning to the current Creo Parametric instance and fetching the parts and assemblies from Windchill server into local folder.In the local development environment it is working fine. I can get the files from the server.When I am running the same customization in the other environment then the function returns PRO_TK_E_NOT_FOUND(-4).I am using this function:ProEngineerConnect(NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL, PRO_B_TRUE, 100, &choice, &handle); I also tried to add proe_session_id into and it is the same error. The same Creo version is installed, the same Windows 10 version. Can you please com up with some ideas, why it's not working on the other machine?

Basically as the title says, i need to put a thread penetration on my workpieces, but can only find a normal thread. The only possible solution i found was with beads and then afterwards putting a thread into it. I just wanted to know if there would be an easier way to do this? Should look basically like in the picture.

Hi Folks,   I came across a requirement to Edit grid row and meanwhile it should be selected as well but thats not working when using Advanced Grid. Once isEditable property is checked, SelectedRows stops working and viceversa. I want to make grid Editable and row should be highlighted while editing. Also the selectedRow should also be used as an input for a service. If anyone figured out any workaround for this, do share your ideas.   Thingworx version: 8.5.6.b110   TIA.

Hello guys,I am new to Mathcad, learning and calculating my masters thesis and recently came to a problem.There are some formulas in my work (timber structural engineering), which were evaluated by an experiment and units in formula - result are not the same.My question is, if I can supress Mathcad base unit system and force to calculate just with numbers as on calculator?Here is a screenshot with my problem, I understand the program does not know what to do with the exponent of "d", just would like to know, if there is a way to go around this.I tried to add constants to the formula to make the wierd 1/m^(13/10) disappear, but with no result.Could someone give me a hint? Thank you for helpBest regardsStepan Mudrak
