Can anyone else log into PTC's support site?   Yesterday one of my users couldn't log in.  I tried logging in today and I still couldn't.  I also had a third person try logging in today and they couldn't. I came here to the community forum and logged in successfully. When I went back to PTC's site I was logged in.   I cannot log in to PTC's site directly.  

Hi, When we export data, is it possible to dynamically split rows and add them in multiple tabs? Eg: if there are total of 5 lakh rows, I wanted to split them 1 lakh rows in 1st tab and from 100001 to 2lakh rows in 2nd tab and likewise. I wanted to share this as another method of sending emails. This option has you turning off send notification on a workflow task, mine is called "CCB Review". In a workflow expression, I call out my helper class and method like so:   customization.workflow.MyWorkflowProcessHelper.sendNotifications((wt.workflow.engine.WfProcess)self.getObject(),"CCB Review");   This looks up all workitems that match that task name and creates its own email. They key here is the bolded lines in "createNotification". Here is where you can change the template processor AND the html template. My problem is i can not open a downloaded setup.exe (neither setup-school.exe and setup-trial.exe). Also Help centre setup can not be opened. Problem isnt download issue or pc issue (every other instalation exe file works fine). So my question is Are there any other instalation options for student or how can i open it ?PS: administrator permissions are allowed

I am a student with low buget

I have a request from a user to combine a series of files that their team created separate objects for each iteration of the file instead of checking out and uploading new versions into the one primary base object.    there are a total of 4 objects/file series, each having multiple revisions.   How do I "easily" create one composite object from these 5 objects and still keep the the most current one "on top"?  I have attached the snip of the objects I need to combine.   The requestor would like the top file in the snip to be the parent object.

Hello, I'm building following line chart view with Thingworx 9.2.3:The data I'm using starts always at 06:00, and ends at 06:00 the next day (24h).But when I draw it with the standard line chart widget, it adds +4 hours into both ends of the timeline. This causes the usable drawing area for the actual data to be 8 hours less than the actual width I'm giving to the widget.This result graph looks too crowded for the data, and I can't for example display value indicators on the lines, as then it becomes absolutely unreadable.I would like to be able to remove this extra "margin" completely from the draw view, or to configure it to be for example just 1 hours extra empty space. Are there any options, or is the margin hard-coded?I have witnessed the same behavior with other datasets and TW 9 line chart too, so it doesn't seem to be related to data used in this example. Thanks.

I finished the learning path on "Vehicle Predictive Pre-Failure Detection with ThingWorx Platform", which helped me to understand several concepts about Thingworx Analytics, managing to generate predictions for values in "real time".   I would like to complement the predictions obtained with uncertainty probability or other practical information. Many years ago, I recall needing to install some SW (VB commondialogs or such?) in order to have real time active controls, e.g. scrollbars, function correctly in MCD11. If I documented this process, it appears to have been in write-only memory. I wasn't able to find the ancient references by searching here either. Anyone remember what needed to be installed, and the process? I seem to remember that RichardJ was a key resource at that time.Thanks,Lou

As per your original post.    TomU: "If Windchill is installed from scratch, it will have a different Host-ID, and then a new license file will have to be generated from the support website"   I have one Windchill system with a license file running. I am getting ready to put a second one online. Do I just request a new license file for the new Windchill system? This new system is not on the internet and the license file must be loaded directly. I will have a third Windchill system to request a license for later in the month. I do keep them all separated when they get downloaded. What happens if I need to regenerate a license? Will I need to generate 3 new files for each system? I am guessing that I cannot use 1 file for all  3 systems as they have different license IDs.

Hi, We have installed a demo application, which comes with bundled packages. The startThingworx.bat needs to be runned to start the thingworx instance containing the demo application. Currently the instance license is getting expired and we downloaded the license file and replaced it in place of existing license.bin.Ran AcquireLicense in LicenseAndSubsystems and we are getting the output as  : [object ProgressEvent] and the istance is not running. I even tried renaming the licence file to  license_capability_response.bin, but its not working. Regards.

Hi Everyone, I have used repeater widget to show some name on selection of dropdown entry.Now I want to delete a row from the repeater by clicking on repeater row. I am using Thingworx 8.2 I know its too old version but I don't have option right now. I could not find any solution on it. If you guide the solution it will help me, Please refer attachment

Dear Stuart or other power user,You mentioned that beside of mathcad you also experiment with maple. As I stick to real mathcad I would like to have a plan B for the moment my mathcad no longer works. So I am transferring some of my mathcad sheets into maple as exercise.In the attached worksheets I believe that I did exactly the same in both programs but the end result is 10 units lower in maple than in mathcad. I have tried to find the reason for days but was not able to pinpoint the issue. Would you be so kind to throw an eye on it? We have a situation where a subcontractor has delivered Rev A of a part which we have tested and are now ready to incorporate into the system we will deliver to our customer. In the meantime the subcontractor has continued work on the product and has delivered the part with added functionality, but have delivered it as Rev B with the same part number, ready for us to test.However when we go to add the part into our overall product structure there is no way to select a specific version of the subcontractor part; that is, because Rev B is now in our PLM system there doesn't seem to be any way for us to add Rev A into the product structure.Does anybody have any way around this, or thoughts on what we can do?
