Hi,  I'm working on integrating ThingWorx 9.1 with a 3rd party IdP product (not microsoft active directory and azure).  In this case , I could use PingFederate as Service Provider to the IdP and use SAML authentication to get the user info according to the help document.    However ,  the IdP product seems only support OAuth2.0 and PingFederate as SP doesn't support OAuth2.0 (see the attached picture).    So, what's the official solution for the case to enabling SSO ?    Is it feasible to create a  customized authenticator which communicates with IdP via OAuth2.0 to authenticate user and get user info ?   The customer use Flow as well and ThingWorx servers are deployed in cluster mode ,  will this situation affect the customized authenticator ?    Regards, Sean

Hello,   I would like to know if it is possible to measure the Internet data consumption of my KEPWARE to communicate with the Azure cloud.   I have a customer who does not provide his local Internet for KEPWARE operation (because of data security).   To make the sale of the project viable I gave the idea of using a mobile internet (3G / 4G) but I need to measure how much internet I will consume to buy the best data package.   If I can measure how much a TAG consumes on the internet I can multiply it by the total TAGs I have and get an idea of the total consumption.   Is there any way to know this?   My environment:   KEPServerEX 6.9 consumes data from a ControlLogix PLC (Rockwell Automation) and makes this data available to the Thingworx platform (version 8.5) installed on an Azure cloud.

Hi, I Have created an organization tree as shown in the attached image.And also created different groups and assigned it for each branches. Most of the branches have different Homepage, for example here  machines and Line Supervisors both have different Homepages. My requirement is,When a user from groups assigned to 'Machines' login, he should see Machines Homepage. The same goes with 'Line Supervisor', when a user from that group login he should be able to see the Line Supervisor login page. The organization tree only have option to add Home mashup at the 'Company_Name' level and at the individual user level(not to a group). If i am login with url: .../Thingworx/FormLogin/Company_Name . It will show the common home page assigned to 'Company_Name', which is incorrect. How do i resolve this Problem?     Thanks, Sri1

What is the best practice for setting the shifts to shift Schedules. I created 1 shift schedule for 24hr shift 00:00 to 24:00 and the kpi calculation updates at the time interval currently set to 15 minutes. But when I used the shift schedule for 2 split shift 07:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 to 23:00 the calculation  stopped working at 14:59 I checked the kpi cache and get time last  updated at 14:59.07

RSD Users!   The below matrix says that, CS 4.0 is interoperable with Creo 7 parametric. What it means if we use different PLM (Teamcenter) other than Windchill? How this will impact us?   - We are using Creo Schematics 3, Creo 4 Parametric with Teamcenter PLM Planning to upgrade Creo 7. - Parametric Any impact on Creo Schematics 3? Hi, I am seeing that in Scheduler we can assign a user in RUN AS USER field in General Information entity. I have a Doubt that will it be Runnable for All users in a Group if we keep Run as user (only one user)? because it allows only one user to add.     Thanks

Greetings.I need to create a thing via a service (which will be called from a mashup) to create a thing, which will then be displayed on the Manufacturing Apps.I've read this document and a few forum topics, which say that I must set the displayName property to something in order for the thing/asset to be visualized in the ManApps screen.Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be working. I've tried creating things with my company's custom thing template (which is based on the PTC.ISA95.PhysicalAssetThingTemplate) and even with the  PTC.ISA95.PhysicalAssetThingTemplate template itself, but it didn't solve my issues and I'm still unable to see the asset on the ManApps.Thank you for your time.

Hi All,   I am building a mashup in Thingworx 9.0  where I have to display status of machine i.e. either running or stopped. I am getting that status via a service which I have binded to a data shape. Requirement is to show status of machine in green if machine is running and red if machine is stopped. I used value display to show the value status and in background I placed a shape whose colour will change as per status of machine. I have binded data of service to shape, but i am not able to find exact state formatting to achieve this result. Currently i have configured ALERT TYPE(as shown in attached image). Kindly suggest how to achieve this. I have attached an image showing the objective that needs to be achieved.

Whenever I start a new part and sketch, my initial sketched lines start at lengths of 132000" for example. I'm primarily designing parts no larger than 50" in length.   While this is an easy fix, there are times were I sketch out a complicated shape only to realize that it's completely out of scale. Is there a way to change the range/scale of initial sketch sizes?

I have noticed that my C Drive is getting filled up a lot since I started working on Vuforia Studio. Does previewing consume a lot of space in C Drive or is it because of log files. Any possible explanation for this storage consumption? Also my previous experiences have started malfunctioning in preview since the update.

In IsoDraw 7.2, I have the ability to cut a line at the intersection of another line using F5 or F6. Sometimes, I wish to cut many lines in this manner along a path. It is very inefficient to delete a part of each line individually, sometimes there are hundreds of lines. Is there any kind of functionality or even a macro that could accomplish this?

In above code I m trying to get members of suborganization but at the end I should get 4 records but instead of that I m getting on 1 record and in "Script log" I m getting debugger response as  "com.thingworx.types.InfoTable@9e681c4f" for all my 4 response. Please help to solve this Thanks!

Setup a new FTPS CAD worker  (Creo) the other day and let it run a few test jobs. Most jobs run just fine but am seeing FTP Connection timeouts on jobs with larger assemblies. It is just after it does the Thumbnail and I guess starts to FTP the data back to Windchill (or Windchill does to retrieve it). It sits there for some time before it fails with that message. I have not seen something like this before but I would not discount I misconfigured something. I copied my worker config from the replacement box. Its currently a Win10 workstation worker.  FTP is configured using IIS. Just a shot in the dark. I cannot tell if this is the FTP server saying it took too long to retrieve data. Does the FTP connection say active the entire job or does it close and restart a new job? What is odd is that many jobs and assemblies work just fine.

Does anyone use intent surface type of datum reference feature?   During its creation, one has option to use the collection rule "all surfaces tangentially connected to the seed surface", which would be extremely handy: Now, I could swear I was able to select this feature in the model tree when specifying the surface sets for publishing:   But this doesn't work now (did it ever?). I found that if I name this intent reference, then I can build a search query to find all surfaces that comprise this intent surface-quilt-thing.  I can even save this query inside the pub-geom feature, and obviously this works way better than manually selecting tangentially-connected surfaces.   However, it would be even better if there was a way to directly reference the intent surface in the published geometry - as the query method does seem to require that the query be (manually) updated if my part geometry changes.   If anyone has any tips or insights, it would be greatly appr

I have a part file and a drawing file. I have extensive dimensions on the drawing but need one with more basic dimensions so I do a save as and rename a copy. I delete the dimensions not needed on the copy, save and print it. The problem is that the original drawing no longer shows the dimensions that were deleted on the copy. Stranger more is that when opening the original drawing the preview shows the missing dimensions.    This has happened in both Creo 3 and 5 on 2 different computers one multiple file sets.
