What I need is to list down all dependencies of a Drawing, currently I am using model.ListDependencies(), but it only lists top-level.For example,  Drawing  ____Assembly ____________Model 1 ____________Model 2   Currently I only get Assembly, not Model 1 and Model 2. I just need the filenames of sub-models.   Thanks    

  Hi, i would like to have and increasing Range from 3.3 to 8 with an increment of 0.1. When i try 3.3,0.1..8 i will get this range values must defined with sequential values. How can i fix this? Thanks.

Hi,  I'm trying to integrate ThingWorx SSO with a 3rd party IdP system,  PingFederate acts as service provider to the IdP in this case if I understand correctly.    I'm referring to the link   Configure PingFederate to Redirect User Login Requests to your IdP   to config PingFederate.  It says I have to create two connections: IdP connection and service provider connection , but the page doesn't provide concrete steps.  PingFederate has lots steps and new concepts such as : "SP Adapter Instance" for the two connections ,  it's hard to complete all the steps with confidence.    Could someone provide a step by step guide for the configuration on PingFederate ?    Regards, Sean

Attached below is the screen shots of model item before update and after update (9.0.1.4911). Since the update, the model item now inverts it's orientation after assigning it the model item property. It didn't happen before the update. Any solution for this condition so that the model item remains in the same orientation as it had been assembled. And what caused the model item to change it's orientation?

Hi all, I am trying to plot the amplitude spectra( or Fourier transform) of a one cycle sine wave i.e sin(t)*u(t)-u(t-2*pi), where u(t) represents a Heaviside function.   1-I found the Fourier transform of this using integration. However, when f(t) * e^..... is put in the symbolic arrow does not give any answer and merely states the same. When sin(t)*e^-1i*w*t is integrated the symbolic gives the correct answer but why does it not work when f(t) is used.   2-Second problem, I want to plot this fairly simple function. The problem is mathcad is saying the real part is around 0.075 according to the graph. It should be 0,0. The imaginary part should be 0,-3.141... however mathcad is plotting 1,-3.141.... What is going on? The file is attached. Prime 6 was used

Recently we have migrated to Thingworx 9.1. Numerous database Things have been exported from Thingworx 8.3 and imported into Thingworx 9.1. Since then, none of our SQL query services appear to work with syntax errors. Please see example of this attached.    The queries run without issue when using SQL Management Tool. Hi everyone,   I have successfully developed a jlink Async app for CREO, and it is working perfect. What I need is that whenever I start CREO Parametric the app should be started too. Currently, I need to run the app through Netbeans, and then CREO is started via the code. So, is there any way I can register the async app globally so whenever CREO is started, my app is started along.Please respond! Thanks

Hello,I have a circular symmetry system. A physical quantity defined in the circular section of such a system is defined by a function of the two polar variables r and φ. How to have the graph of this surface using CreateMesh () and pol2xy ()? I find some difficulties, maybe trying and trying again I succeed. But I would like your suggestion so as not to waste time. The function, in polar coordinates, is for example F (r, φ) = Jn (1,0.383r) cos (φ).

I have been unable to get the complete infotable for GetRunTimePermissions()* service call for any Thing.   Expected Infotable: ExpectedInfotable   Received Infotable: ReceivedInfotable   The service is unable to display the complete "Permissions" datashape. I wanted to reach out to the community to ask if anyone has information they can share on how long a designer takes to create a CAD model and the CAD Drawing. I know this is a loaded question with many variables; complexity, quality and experience of designer....and so on. Lets level set to average all across the board.   I can develop an internal questionnaire with my business and come up with numbers as well but wanted to get  more of a industry standard number from the community and ask if anyone has already done such a study.   Thanks in advance for any information you may have and willing to share in this thread.

Hi,    Java and Javascript use lower camel case naming convention for the variables and methods ,  but Thingworx seems to use upper camel case for naming the properties and services by default,  it need while to adapt and looks a little bit  wired for a upper camel case method in Java extension.     is there any special reason for using the naming convention ?      Regards, Sean

Hi, I have installed thingworx foundation with sql. I created a new thing (mssql template) and connected it successfully. But writing a new query (select getdate()) returns wrong date. It adds 5 hours with the current date. But when executed in sql it returns correct date but in thingworx it returns wrong date. What could be the issue?    Thanks in advance, Shalini V.      

Hello. I installed ThingWorxFoundationPostgres-8.5.8-x86_64.run on RHEL. It was working fine and I stopped using it for a while. When I wanted to enter again, the empty Composer appeared and I could not navigate. I saw that the disk was full and I deleted some archived logs, then I restarted tomcat and RHEL server, with which afterwards I could not enter the Composer again. I cannot start the Postgres server. Can anybody help me?
