Hi Everybody!There is any way to I retrieve the tag's value and assigning it to a variable? Actually, I've a xpath tag and I need to get its value. The tag is this:<_gte:XPathString expr='_acl:eval(\"$ENV['Test']\")'></_gte:XPathString>

I am working in the preference file trying to establish a standard preference file so all the users see the same thing and our illustrations all look the same. What I would like to do is add a separator line in the preference file. Example if you look at the Pens dialog box you see the separator line below "Center line". I would like to add other separator lies to break up groups but I do not see where these are generated in the preference file. Does anyone how to generate these?Thanks,Keith Howard

Hi Chaps, When saving an XML, the !DOCTYPE and also some element attributes are removed.Is there a setting in Preferences > Advanced, to stop this occuring?Thanks in advance,Samuel

Hi Chaps, I'm a newbie to Abortext (with Styler 6.1) and learning as I go, and as such have a few questions, so starting with this one:When Saving an XML, simply opening a file, then Save As, the XML is breaking an element/line, rather than maintaining the original format:Start:Abortext 6.1 view:After (Save as) - Notice the break at Line 5 / 6- Abortext also adds it's stamp (Line 2), can this be turned off?

Hello all,Maybe this a very basic question, but I can't find the way to solve it...I'm working with some XML files that are composed of dozens of xml files referenced as href atts:Intead of beig referenced as entities.What should I do in Arbortext 6 to make them editable from the editor? Hi everybody,I'm using Arbortext 5.2 and Windows NT.I have some formula graphics linked into our texts, but they're displayed too small. Is there a way to magnify these graphics?I know, that I possibly could add some scaling attributes to my doctype and to configure them in the associated .dcf file. But since it is "only" an Arbortext-display-problem, I was thinking of a less DTD-contaminating solution, maybe via FOSI?Every idea would be appreciated,best regards,Ulrike Schaper.

I am working on a S1000D IPD DM entering part numbers for a parts list. I'm using Epic 5.3 on a Windows 7 machine. All is well until I get to a certain point in the file. I can add elements and save the file and Epic never complains, but as soon as I close the file and try to re-open it, I get the following two errors and then Epic quits.[A17120] Assertion failed: size < TXF_MARK, file ..\src\stortxt.c, line 531and thenepic:abort (signal 22)If I use a text editor to open the xml file and truncate it down to a certain point (around item 104), I can reopen the file, but as soon as I try to add one more tag and save it, then the file is toast again. It's like I can only put in 104 of the 139 part numbers I need to type. Granted, there's a lot of tags involved with the IPD, but the file size is only 143kb.Has anyone anyone seen this?KM

Good day Community!Please forgive me if this is a question that's covered already. I did my due diligence and looked for it but I couldn't find anything that seemed to match my particular problem.I've been using IsoDraw on and off for years but only now is my employer moving towards making it our primary illustration software.Right away, I'm noticing an issue that I anticipate will be a headache if I don't get it resolved sooner rather than later.Whenever I drag anything around on the drawing surface (holding the mouse button to drag a line, elipse, move objects, etc.), after about 5 seconds, the display appears to lock up even though it's not really locked up. Once I let go of the mouse button, all is well with the exception of whatever I was doing may or may not have executed exactly where I wanted it to.Is this a problem with the software or perhaps my system needs some beefing up? Here are my specs:Windows 7 ProfessionalService Pack 1Model: HP ProDesk 600 G1 TWRProcessor: Intel(R)

Really basic quesion I'm sure - how do I center text as in the image added?I'm working in a style sheet that has already been created, but if this office can do it, it's in the style sheet. Might not be using the most proper Arbortext lingo, if so sorry............?? Thanks!

Arbortext Editor 6.0 whether connected or disconnected to Windchill 10.1 is very slow to open an xml file. We get the "not responding" message and the cursor just keeps spinning (approx. 30 seconds). Eventually the xml file appears and everything seems to work fine.What could cause this issue? Could the server need a reboot? Could it have something to do with the cache size?Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks

Hello all.Is it possible to incorporate XSL-FO data which is created in the other stylesheet tool (e.g. AH Formatter ) to ".style" file for Arbortext Styler?My idea is to copy and paste some of stylesheet settings written in XSL-FO into a ".style" file.As some stylesheet settings are difficult to achieve (e.g. bleed tab) by Arbortext Styler UI, I want to reuser the XSL-FO data which I already have in hand.The output will be PDF, just for your record.Many thnaks.Kind regards,Tomomi

Is there a way to allow italics, bold, etc.. to be used in the mainbook title. When I try it says document type is not configured for this formating style.Thanks Bryon

Fairly new to Arbortext and I have a template. I would like to make a simple one page document without chapters or a chapter heading or a TOC. ?? Suggestions? Snip jpeg attached.

Our organization uses both ISODraw V7.2 and Arbortext Editor V6.0. Recently, last Tuesday, all of our ISODraw users reported a failure at execution: A "Caution" error is generated with the text "License request failed for feature ISODRAW." Arbortext Editor V6.0 does not fail to execute.Both ISODraw and Arbortext both use the same license file. There is a key for each of the products in the file. The network card is active. It seems that ISODraw V7.2 requires the network card to be active and Arbortext V6.0 does not.We are currently at a work stoppage do to the inability to use the ISODraw software.We had the software removed and reinstalled. ISODraw persistently fails to start. All recommendations would be appreciated.

Hello all.I created a book map with two chapters whick contain 4 or more topics in each and it is going to be published in PDF format.Then, to save the number of page, I am trying to show two columns in one page and each topic should start from the top of the page. However, Arbortext Styler does not have such function in its UI.I am wondering if this can be achieved with some souce editting.Do you know any source edit that works for this problem? Hello all,I am looking for the way to colour the content of <thead> element.Custom table might work but I want to skip it this time as it is not a custom table.Therefore, I tried some source editting with "backgroundColor" attribute of "fTable" which also did not work.I am not familiar with Javascript so it is very difficult to figure out.Does anyone know how to colour it? or is it even possible?Thank you.
